The restaurant does not look like much on the outside, and the neighborhood isn't the greatest. But, the food is great and I loved the Plantains. Try this new restaurant on the Lewiston food scene. read more

OK. I found a place to eat and it was awesome. It was not your dash-in-and-grab-a-bite place, and I am so glad I found it. It looks like nothing on the outside, but inside was the most amazing food served by the most beautiful and delightful staff. I was not anticipating a real Brazillian Steak House in Lewiston, Maine, but dear God, I found one. I had "lunch." It took almost 90 minutes of steady eating, with a guy who popped out of the kitchen every so often with a giant spear of some kind of meat which he portioned onto my plate until I told him to stop. There was beef and chicken and sausage and ribs and probably more, but I had to concede defeat and escape before I literally burst. It cost $30. And included a buffet line of rice, beans, chicken, and a bunch of other stuff I didn't recognize. Oh, and plantains cooked just right. And salad things. And some sort of decadent looking chocolate dessert. I can't even. I tipped big, and the hostess tried to argue with me that it was too much. No, I said. Everybody here is working hard. Today I have money, and will share. Tomorrow I may not. That's how life goes. I celebrate this place for it's abundance of good food and warm welcome. Thi is in no way a "Brazilian steakhouse". Mystery meat cooked in some strange styles for very high prices. Factor in the unsafe neighborhood with discarded needles, panhandlers and thugs and I will only return in passing if I'm forced to quickly drive down that street again read more

Getting some traditional Brazilian spices on the meats was a great change of pace from the sort of rubs we use in Georgia and around the south. The dadinho tots and jelly sauce were also a hit. Love food trucks in general but this one in particular was a great change of pace.

The portions are pretty decent for the price and the service has always been excellent! They have plenty of seating and parking. They have a bar upstairs and a studio bar downstairs and I believe they still hold live entertainment from time to time. They have a variety of dishes on the menu and specials as well. So something for everyone. And they have 4 BBQ sauces on the table to choose from and I still love their Blueberry BBQ Sauce!! We just found out they do a hot chicken wing challenge!! You get 6 wings to eat in 3 minutes, no drink, dip or sides - once eaten, you have to wait 5 minutes, again with nothing else to cool your mouth down with...if you make it, you get your picture taken and put on the wall and a T-shirt and the wings are free. If you fail, you have to buy the wings. :) We both ordered off the special and tried the Brisket Sloppy....oooh, sooo good. I got mine with an order of Mac-n-Cheese and yum! We also tried their Burnt Ends, again YUM and I had to dunk mine in the Blueberry BBQ Sauce!! My husband had Chili and it was a large bowl and very good. Yes, the portions are decent size and we couldn't finish, but left small room and had cheesecake! Yum!!! The only drawback is the lines to wait to get in. I know we were a larger party but there were a TON of people waiting in the waiting area but also had the ability to hit the bar and have a cocktail while waiting which makes it less lengthy. We will definitely be back to this establishment next time just the two of us to get the "date" experience.

We both had our own portion of mussels and a salad. The mussels have always been a favorite and no doubt cooked to perfection. Generous portions for both the salad orders too.
