Fried Tempura Shrimp roll. Delicious and fresh.

Simply delicious! Very fresh, made to order sushi and ramen. Spicy seared tuna salad is a must.

    the sushi burrito!

Foodoko is definitely worth the trip to a veterans hospital. I was surprised when it was actually located in the food court and first had to ask for help to find it. There is no need to be suspicious about sushi that's at a hospital in this case because they're an independent business. My sushi burrito was made fresh upon order and was larger than I thought it would be, therefore the price is worth the portion. I will definitely be a returning customer to try their poké bowls and some more burritos since I live nearby!!

Sushi burrito with tuna salmon tempura flakes and eel sauce

Sushi lovers rejoice- here's a new fun way to eat your sushi. Foodoko is a deliciously unassuming gem tucked away in Lake Nona inside the new Veteran Affairs cafeteria that is open to the general public. It serves the first sushi burrito I have had the pleasure of eating in Orlando and it was absolutely worth it. For 9 bucks and change, I received a hefty burrito stuffed with tuna, salmon, crunchy tempura flakes, eel sauce, and more. It came served in a ready made box and the guy running the shebang was delightfully friendly. This burrito is guaranteed to fill you up and because of the healthy ingredients, I didn't feel bloated or uncomfortable afterwards. In addition to the burrito I got, there were multiple other burrito selections including a vegetarian friendly option. There is plenty of seating outside the cafeteria and the VA itself is located in a beautiful new building that is a pleasure to stroll through. I would definitely recommend stopping by Foodoko if you are in the Lake Nona area, or even to plan a trip there for a very unique casual dining experience.

The service was top-notch. The restaurant itself is super cute and had a very warm ambiance (also pretty casual which was nice!). And the food... y'all I can see why everyone hypes this place up because it really is PHENOMENAL. The Richie Rich ramen is the best Ramen I have ever had. The broth was delicious. The meat was cooked to perfection and I was so happy to have leftovers for the next day. The wings were the best wings I've had in a very long time or probably even ever lol (no exaggeration because if you try them, you'll totally understand and agree with me). I truly can't wait to go back and try more things from the menu!

Wow wow wow this was everything I expected and more!…read more Domu has been on my list for a while and I don't know why it took me so long to finally get here. My friends and I dined in on Saturday night and showed up at 7PM to a two hour wait. Unfortunate, but so worth it. We headed upstairs to the neighborhood bar and got an appetizer and a drink while we waited. We only ended up having to wait maybe an hour and a half for our table at Domu. The service was insanely quick and immediately after ordering our first appetizer came within five minutes. They really know what they're doing here. Whoever was on the aux this evening, 10 out of 10. The music was amazing and the vibes of the restaurant were immaculate. We ordered the cheezus, their signature wings, and the patatas bravas. I understand why they are the best way in Orlando! They were crispy and sweet and flavorful. The potatoes were delicious and the sauce that came with it paired perfectly. I believe it was topped with a crispy quinoa, which was a really nice touch. I can't really do cheese so I didn't try the cheezus, but my friends loved it and said it was delicious. Our server gave me a rundown of his favorite chicken ramens and I ended up choosing the yuzu shoyu ramen. It was nice and full of citrus. I love the eggs that come with the ramen, and he very kindly brought out another egg for me as well as a brûlée egg. I've never tried a Brulé egg in my life and it was so interesting and delicious! Basically a crème brûlée egg!! 10s across the board. I can't wait to come back for more.

The restaurant is on the smaller side but they have it organized to fit quite a few people. The area is clean as well. The soup was so beautiful I almost didn't want to eat it! I've never had cold soup before but I definitely will be trying the other options throughout the summer. It was so refreshing!

We got their mocktail of the day, Nikutama Udon, and Spicy Miso Tantan Udon. The Nikutama broth was rather bland and the sliced beef was too chewy for my liking. I added the toppings on the side but still found it underwhelming overall. The Spicy Miso had much better flavor. They best thing was their mocktail, it was refreshing for a hot day! Service was mediocre, it was Saturday lunchtime so it took a little to get acknowledged/order and there was some waiting for the boxes/check too. Ambiance is superb/clean and the decor is modern. it's not the biggest restaurant but utilized the space with bench seating against the wall. I feel there are better options in the Mills50 area, but it's worth trying if you haven't since its a Michelin bib restaurant.

The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable for bringing children, and the staff made us feel welcome the whole time. The biggest hit was the kids ramen. It's a simple bowl of noodles and broth made just for younger diners, and my boys couldn't get enough of it,they practically inhaled it. Overall a great spot if you want something a little different than typical kid food while still having something on the menu they'll love. We'll definitely be back.

The hostess was also a server who never had anything to write on and had to constantly come back to us to order food and drink. I think it was an understaffed situation and not the two servers fault necessarily. Food came before cocktails, no silverware when food was delivered and then once silverware arrived, no napkins? We were in a cozy little booth which was nice for Valentine's Day. The restaurant was clean however they had the front door propped open and letting the cool air in (which was nice) but also the bugs (not so great). Now onto the good part. The food was amazing. From the curry mussels to the goat cheese and beet salad and the ramen. The ramen is so so good. We weren't in a rush for dinner but we also were not expecting it to take as long as it did or have the low level of service. Might give it another try since the food was so good but hope that they can get staffing figured out.
