Went here for a body massage, not a foot massage. Had high hopes for this place, as I was looking for a place near work (Kendall Square). Stopped in the day before the massage to make an appointment, and entered to find no one at the front desk. After calling out "hello?" a couple of times, a woman ran out from the back; I could see her through a beaded curtain (!) reclining on a couch. Weird. Anyway, she booked me for the next day, and said there was a discount if I paid in cash. Okay. The next day when I arrived for my appointment, again there was no one at the front. The same woman ran up from the back and asked why I was there. For an appointment, I responded. Oh, she said. Okay, weird. An older man appeared from the back, putting on a uniform shirt. He didn't speak...showed me to a room. The room was nice. No complaints. The woman followed and explained that I should undress and cover myself with a towel, which she handed me. A small bath towel. Clean, but tiny. (I am a normal sized person). Again, weird. After I complied the man came back in the room for the massage. I'd (barely) covered myself with the small bath towel. The "massage" was primarily him rubbing my back through the towel. What? Id be surprised if he had even the minimal amount of training. It was almost like if you asked your friend to rub your back when it's a bit sore after a workout. It was an hour massage, and for the majority of it I was totally shocked about how terrible it was. Get some trained massage therapists and a proper blanket in there (oh, and you were laying on disposable paper like a doctor's office), and perhaps they'll be legit. Not cheap either. This place is absolutely fantastic. It just opened so I hope that more people will go so that it stays open. The place is very new and clean. Everyone has their individual rooms (unlike Chinese massage places in Chinatown where you're sometimes separated by a thin divider or curtain) and the rooms are proper rooms that are very well decorated. The best part is the skill of the masseuse. He was extremely professional and really knew what he was doing. He was earnest and nice- very friendly without talking too much. I got the 30 minute body and 30 minute foot - both were equally as amazing. They threw in a foot soak and a scalp massage when my feet were soaking with no extra charge. Its also 15% off for new customers, so you get the price of Chinatown, but with much much better quality of ambiance and skill. Highly recommended! read more

Amazing experience!! Do yourself a favor and go pay a visit to Yoyo for the most incredible foot massage. Foot heaven is sparkling clean, friendly staff, wonderful price and easy parking. As a 39+ week pregnant lady I was thrilled to sit and have a shoulder and neck massage followed by a deep foot massage in a quiet and relaxing room. Let me start by saying this is my first yelp review. This place is THAT amazing. With that being said I have chronic back pain. I'm aching all day, some days worse than others. I live in San Diego so I have a person I usually go to but, I travel for work. After work, I was in so much pain. I knew I had to find a place immediately and it was 630pm. I was looking at yelp and trip advisor for recommendations (duh) for about a half hour before I came across this place. I called, asked if they could take a walk-in at 730pm for an hour massage and they said come on down. The place is obviously independently owned. They do things their way and I love it. Loud conversations at the counter, tv shows blasting and other patrons that you can hear from the back room while you're getting your feet rubbed. However, there is faint sound of zen music playing! (Again not anything I care about. If I wanted to meditate I'd go on a fucking yoga retreat.) I purchased the 30 min feet, 30 min body combo for $70. After soaking my feet and the standard amazing feeling of reflexology, it was time for my "body" portion of the hour. I asked her to focus on my neck, shoulders, under my shoulder blades as well as my overall back with those other parts taking priority. Typically there's a standard massage that they do. I was guided into a room with a massage table and she told me to take my top off. So I did and blankly stared at her until she looked at me like I was stupid and said, that too.. aka my sports bra. Mind you the door was open, so if that would bother you maybe not the place. Me however..I ripped that bra off so quick and got on the table no questions asked! She threw her tiny little elbow so hard into every throbbing nook and cranny of my upper back and I loved every second of it. Sure I was cussing her out in my head because it hurt, but it was the hard pressure relief I asked for. The woman was very attentive to my body reactions to the pressure or placement and made sure I was okay. This place is dope. read more

This place is clean, and open late. Those are the ONLY good things I can say about it. The hour long body massage was only 50 minutes, not very therapeutic and VERY overpriced. For a place like this which offers nothing more than your basic massage ( with a hand towel sized sheet to cover your whole body) and no other amenities or luxuries, $80 for 50 minutes is a bit crazy. And after signing my credit card slip, the lady snatched it from me and said "okay you put tip, good". Awkward. She's lucky I was feeling kind, because no tip was deserved. My first visit and I can't WAIT to go again! Thanks to my little sister for the birthday gift.. I had a 30 min foot massage AND a 60 minute full body massage. The entire experience was awesome.. friendly people, super clean salon..and very resonable. As for the massages, both were some of the best I have ever had..and I get a lot!
