Dr. Amy is very kind and she took the time to really listen to my concerns. There was zero wait time for me and the entire staff was great.

Very disappointing experience I had a really unpleasant interaction with an employee named Angelica at the front desk. She was handling check-in/appointments, and from the beginning she seemed to be in a bad mood and took that frustration out on me even though I had done nothing wrong. I understand that everyone can have a bad day, especially in a busy medical office, but patients shouldn't be made to feel uncomfortable or disrespected because of an employee's mood. I left the interaction feeling like I was being treated unfairly for no reason. I hope management takes this seriously and looks into how patients are being treated. I'm not saying someone should be fired over one bad day, but the way I was treated was unacceptable and I don't think it should happen to other patients. read more

The service here has been very disappointing. My mom was waiting for a referral, but no one ever called us. When we followed up by phone, the staff sounded reluctant to help -- first saying it takes 7 days, then after checking, they just told us it had been sent out already. When I asked about the process, they told me to call and check on my own, with no clear follow-up from their side. Previously, a test result showed some issues, and they told me to come in for an appointment. But after I paid for the visit, all they did was say, "We'll refer you," and that was it -- another charge without any real guidance. It feels unprofessional and frustrating, especially for patients who are already worried about their health. Communication and accountability really need improvement. read more

Appointment was at 10:15. I arrived and checked in at 10:00. I was not placed into a room until 11 and did not see a doctor until 11:45. On my way out I noticed the 3 patients who checked in after me were on their way out prior to me; even though my appointment was scheduled before. If you have nothing but time, this is place for you! However I would not recommend this office to anyone with a life outside of their doctor's appointments. read more

As long as I've been a patient here, the time spent waiting to be taken to an exam room has never been egregiously excessive, but I can count on having time to play a few games on my phone... until today. I was on time for my 3:45p appt. which is notable by itself and made this all the more maddening because I sat for over an hour and was never seen! They close at 5p, and when I asked what was going on, I was told they would clean an exam room in a few minutes so I could go back, but there would still be another lengthy wait once back there. They acknowledged the absurdity of the situation and informed me the doctor had been in surgery earlier and actually looked amused when I said "... and?" They made a point of calling me the day prior to confirm the appt time to make sure I was committed and would be charged a $25 fee if I didn't show, but curiously neglected to mention he would be in surgery and... oh I don't know, maybe acknowledge that my time is valuable too and maybe would like the chance to reschedule? Nope, they let me sit for over an hour without so much as a hearty "sucks to be you", and when I finally rescheduled the appointment in disgust.... I was informed that my blood pressure and cholesterol meds would not be refilled until I saw the doctor.... NINE DAYS IN THE FUTURE! Now, I'm not a high falootin' surgery type doctor or anything, but I'm fairly certain those types of medications should not be taken sporadically, right? Never in my life have I had my prescribed medication refills held hostage and denied, as punishment. Granted, I may have missed a couple appointments in the past... but I was there today. It was the doctor who stood me up, and then basically told me to suck it up and deal with it when I asked about getting my refills. I will be finding another doctor. read more

Service with the doctors here are superb. Dr Ta has always been a very knowledgeable doctor and he gives so much care towards my parents. They are both seniors so he is gentle with them and are always aware of signs of health issues with older age and how to prevent it. It's sad to see him retire but Dr Phan will take over and he is awesome as well. Dr Phan is a very well mannered doctor. It was my first time meeting him and he addressed issues and concerns regarding my parents health. He overviews everything altogether before we step out the door and gives important medical advice! Sarah is always providing best service, as well as Blanca. Blanca is very nice with communicating with podiatrist, Doctor and with me. She always kept following up with paperwork and made sure things are clear and understanding for me. But I do have something to say about the front office girl. She was slender, hair tie in a bun, dark brows. She gives me a hard time every visit to Foothill Primary. She is lazy with the patients and gives 1/10 effort in her job. She acts like she's busy on the computer but doesn't seem productive. She only checks people in for appointments. She makes her own rules and charges people for simple piece of paperwork. I sat and observed while sitting on the seat in front of her. She tosses patients to the side like they're nothing. She's so reliant on other staff deal with her job. That is not fair at all! Upper management needs to have a serious talk with her because she doesn't care for most patients. read more

Found this drs office and got in the same day, I had been sick since wed went in on a Friday to get medicine because I felt like crap! Might I add I rarely ever go to drs office but that's how bad I felt! I left assuming my prescription would be ready only to find out the doctor never sent it and they are closed on the weekends! Oh but they billed my insurance and charged me 10 dollars to fill out a few sentences on a paper for my insurance! Total joke of a drs office I will not be going back, not to mention I asked about scheduling a physical when the dr told me a physical and pap usually go together but apparently have to be done on different days... why is that, so they can bill you for more doctors visits! Not happy with this place at all! read more

The staff is ridiculous. The lady who sits on the left is such a B I'm speaking to the other lady on the right telling her I need this county paper filled out it's a check mark yes or no. The paper that says the prices they charge extra out of pocket for is ridiculous. But this particular paper wasn't listed. They said of the ped doctor isn't in to fill it out. I said are you serious I just need a check mark regarding if my childrens shots are up to date. It even says at the bottom the clinic stamp is acceptable instead of a signature. The girl goes and talks to the billing lady and says "oh is this so she can get cash aid.. just charge her $5" okay yes it's only $5 but this is so I can get benefits. Then they say. It will take 24/72 hours. I was completely blown away. Just for a damn signature. Now I ask ok how much is it to get my daughters shot records. That was free as it should be. Then the lady to the left that looks like Sid the sloth starts speaking in Spanish but can't acknowledge me and ask me myself. So rude and will definitely think about changing doctors offices. If I didn't have to speak to the front desk I wouldn't. They are the worst people ever. The doctor for ped is amazing and caring. read more

I honestly do not know where to begin. Dr Ta is very arrogant!! He is always in a hurry, after you've waited in the lobby for 30-45 min and then another 30 min in the room. He hates when you say that you did a little research on your own and discourages you telling you that anything online is untrue and makes fun of you for doing so. He disregards your concerns when you bring something going on with you to his attention, and makes you feel afraid to mention a concern you're having because he will shake his head saying, "What am I going to do with you??" Then offers no solution to your concern. You should be able to ask your doctor questions without being made to feel bad. Isn't it a doctors job to answer our questions and/or concerns and to help us??? Dr Ta doesn't like to refer anything out to a specialist. He thinks he can take care of it all, for selfish reasons only...money!! If he TRULY cared about his patients, he would refer them to the proper specialist when he cannot help. We trust these people who think they're GOD! If it doesn't feel right, then it probably isn't. I would never ever recommend Dr Ta, not even to collect trash!! On my last and final visit, Dr Ta was in an odd mood. This monster screamed at me at the top of his lungs. I am positive his entire office heard him. I have never ever been screamed at, let alone from a person who wouldn't even have his own practice if he treated all his patients like this. I was in total and utter shock at his behavior. Saying he was unprofessional would be a total understatement. I lost ALL respect for him, not only as a doctor, but as a human being. If he can talk to me the way he did, I would find it very hard to believe that he's not done it to someone else too. Funny thing is, my specialist advised me 6 months prior that I should find another primary dr. He had to have a discussion with Dr Ta about a surgery I needed, and at my next appt with my specialist, he told me that Dr Ta was not providing me with good care and doesn't have MY best interest at heart. With all this said, it is very obvious that a) I have moved on with a new primary doctor, and b) I 1000% would never send even an enemy to Dr Ta. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT CONSIDER THIS MAN, IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A NEW PRIMARY DOCTOR. By the way, he doesn't even deserve the 1 star rating. read more

It took 4 days for them to see my son after he was seen at SARH for Lymphadenitis. I called the minute we left the hospital and reception said it would be 4 days to be seen. The ER Dr stated to go to our primary within 1-2 days. This place use to be top notch, however with the treatment from the front desk if it was possible to give NO STARS I would. By far the most RUDEST STAFF EVER!The Dr's are very good and thorough, just have to get past the front desk! Good luck!!! read more

I have gone here for 16 yrs, included all my children, sibling, mother, and a few other extended family members. The staff is so terrible, unprofessional, rude, and think they are a higher power. I will never step foot into this office again. It's unreal how disrespectful this office has got. Not to include Dr. Ta does not physically check you, just sits there and nearly laughs or states that nothing is wrong with you. And don't schedule a follow up because he gets irritated. Doctor Viet Ta dishonors the Hippocratic oath as doctor by refusing patients in need. I have been a Patient at Foothill Primary Care for some years now and still receive horrible quality service. Clinic policy is not more important than A patient's health. This clinic is strictly a business not a place of care, if you don't have an appointment forget about being seen as a walk-inn. I wouldnt recommend this facility to anybody that sees the doctor more than one time a year. read more
