I called this " high end " car dealer and asked for a walk around video of a red mustang and told Gary Funk I wanted a like new car without a lot of rock chips in the paint. one of the sales associates took a video around the car and pointed out 1 or 2 scratches and stated paint was 9- 9.5 on the scale of 1-10 . So I was pretty excited to see the car. I drove 4 hours one way to see car . Not 5 mimutes into my walk around I see major road rash rock chips in front of each rear wheel ! Not what I would consider a professional inspection from a high end car dealership!! And they arent taking responsibility for their ( lack of ) actions. I would not set foot in this place again. They canjot be trusted to give an honest evaluation of cars they sell . They should be very ashamed of their demeanor. read more

I bought a VW Passat years ago and thumbs up to that place. Nice people, great cars and overall, a great experience. I would definitely recommend them. I just read another customers review with a 1 star. I will call them J. R.from Everett-they were trying to put blame on MCL/a car that had overheated after 20K and then 50K and then 55K...well news flash first of all its a Jaguar-those aren't particularly well known for reliability and even if they were, your lucky that other issues didn't happen along the way...it's a used car, if you wanted a new one then you should have bought one. Even with a new car warranty very few go out to 50K. My guess is that your the type of customer that is always complaining, wants something for nothing and a customer that they went over and above for...not to mention that you're probably a pretty savey buyer that didn't let them make any money on the initial deal. If all their customers had your position/were this much maintenance, there might not be a MCL for us to be able to go shopping for a "beautiful car". Oh, by the way I didn't see and notes about any preventative maintenance you might have performed along the way-if you had there's a good chance it would have been mentioned etc. Of course I don't know the whole story but if this was at 2K or 4K, that still is on you or the warranty, the obligations to you are very limited to the selling dealer, its between the manufacturer and/or the extended warranty contract company-you probably know that now. Hopefully the car has continued to work as it should...it's not their fault. read more

My wife and I bought a 2018 jaguar F-Pace. It was a beautiful car. My wife was very happy and excited to buy this car. As a car enthusiast I made sure to ask Jeff(president now) if there is a "bumper to bumper" style warranty I can get for this car due to how expensive maintenance is for Jaguar. Jeff immediately said yes, he also said his service department is certified to work on high end cars. WRONG! 7k miles into owning the vehicle the check engine light comes on. I call MCL and the service guy said sorry there is still a manufacture warranty left and you must take it to Jaguar. We did that twice. 20k miles into owning the vehicle it began to overheat and pour out coolant, I took it to MCL they had it for 3 weeks, I had to pay for a rental until they fixed it. 40k miles into owning the car it starts to overheat and leak coolant again and MCL had the car for 2 weeks and again I had to pay for a rental. MCL does not provide loaners. 55k miles into owning the car it starts to overheat and leak oil and coolant all over my driveway, And again MCL took the car for another 10 days. 60k miles into owning the car it started to overheat and leak coolant. This time I was seriously worried, I knew that all this overheating is causing major damage to the engine. I then emailed and called Jay who is the GM at MCL. I explained my worries and explained that we need to figure out what's going on, something is obviously not right with this car. He then sent me a nasty email stating that this is a jaguar issue, he also stated that it was best "if we part ways" I was blown away!!. I asked him what should I do? I still supposedly have a "bumper to bumper" warranty? He said don't worry the warranty is still good anywhere. So I had no choice but to take it to Jaguar in Bellevue. They had it a few days and ran some tests, it turns out not only is the car still over heating and leaking fluids, the motor is now bad. Even better the MCL ghosted me, the warranty company that has the warranty which I bought through MCL will not cover the repairs. Jaguar also wants ME to spend $5k just to tear down the engine to see how bad the motor is. Jaguar then sent me an invoice of $16900 just to fix the car and do a tear down of the motor. The Warranty company said they will not pay for any repairs that was caused by overheating. What?? So I have MCL who sold me this piece of garbage, sold me a garbage warranty and then ghosted me and is not taking responsibility for anything. Now I don't have a car and ITS STILL UNDER WARRANTY! I spent thousands on warranty deductibles and rental cars and MCL could care a less. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE. They sell expensive cars but can't work on them. Even the warranty they sell has TONS of fine print so they can pick and choose what they want to cover. In case they try to remove this review I have ALL the receipts of all the times it's been in their shop, all my communication with them. It's all documented. Jay was the worst, they don't care that we are a working family with kids. I have tried to talk to him but he doesn't return emails or phone calls. Everything has been sent to the AGs office but we all know that is an uphill battle. read more

Went in looking to purchase a Porsche 911, of which they had a nice model in stock. I negotiated a price slightly below ask, around 2.5%. I wanted to go a little lower to which they said that was the lowest they could go -- ok fair enough, right. Told them I'd sleep on it. A day later they raise the price $5K (which I found out when I called to accept their offer) and that if I wanted it now, it would be the original advertised price. Such a sketchy business practice and raises red flags about the character of the owner. The sales reps were great throughout the process. I will say that the staff has been very professional and honest, not pushy, no lies, none of the usual sales tactics, and I have heard them all from other local dealers. I really like Gary, he is very nice and took the time to listen to me, even if it wasn't the car I wanted. My new vehicle was sent here from the dealership in order to have the odometer switched out from kilometers to miles right after purchase. It was supposed to be ready for us on Monday and then we were told they had to send it out of state for the part and we wouldn't receive the vehicle until Friday or even the following Monday. This was very concerning since we hadn't even taken the car into our possession since purchasing and now were being told they shipped the vehicle out of state. After further clarification and better communication on their part we were informed that the part, NOT the entire vehicle was sent. Still not great, but much better. When we arrived to pick up the car we entered the office and stood around for at least 15-20 minutes. Never once greeted or asked how we could be helped. The guy at the desk was sitting there on his cellphone texting or who knows what acting very busy. Finally I asked if there was another person who could help us. Only then did he attempt to assist us. He seemed confused with basic information. He asked the same questions multiple times "who were you dealing with" when we repeatedly told him we weren't dealing with anyone, our dealership had handled the entire thing. Finally he found a more competent employee who gave us our keys and we were on our way. It looks like a really nice auto repair shop, one that I would have brought a vehicle to in the future but not after the poor customer service and clear incompetence experienced. read more

Extrememly disappointed. I took my Audi in for oil service with a check engine light on. The oil was changed and we were told that they couldn't find anything wrong and they had cleared the code. Three days later the car is running rough. I returned to the service department. Later that day they told me to come get it due to a potential flood. We were told it was fine to drive. I bought a classic car from this dealership a few months ago. It did well on the test drive but wouldn't start once I got it home. The manager had it towed to them so their mechanic could diagnose the problem. I drove it home a second time and it still wouldn't start. The manager personally drove to my home and picked up the car. The lead mechanic found the issue and it has been repaired. He even drove the car back to me and I live over 60 miles away. BEWARE!! I've never used yelp and just made an account to post this review. So here's what happened: About 3 weeks ago there were a couple BMW 328is I was interested in and a Range Rover for my wife. I called to inquire about both vehicles and they informed me they are Canadian bought vehicles. I ask if they have ever been in an accident and they claim all vehicles have a clean carfax with absolutely NO ACCIDENTS. I started doing some research to find that Canadians DONT USE CARFAX. They use Carproof. Although each Carproof is $20, I wanted to make sure they were indeed clean before making a trip to Mt. Vernon. Turns out ALL vehicles I was interested in had been in accidents. One was over $10,000!! I find it hard to believe they would buy a car without knowing it's been wrecked. Now you know! BEWARE! read more

Okay, how about an update? I got a free oil change under the last factory warranty visit, and saved the freebie one Motorcars Limited gave me as part of my car deal. That's cool. I had a lamp warning pop up and I know the drill: they'll charge me $25 for reading the computer and $15 for the license plate lamp. They have to pay the bills, I get that, but they didn't charge me for this service. Holy crap! In addition, they used Castrol Syntec oil so I don't have to change to oil again this year. I get their evil plan, they take good care of me and I come back to buy another car and tell all my friends to check these guys out. Well, the plan is working, I love these guys. read more
