While the prices are definitely a bit up there, the rainbow cookies are so consistently perfectly textured and scrumptious! I paid $21.86 for all 4 items (s'mores brownie, apple crumb bun, double chocolate fudge cupcake, and rainbow cookie order). My fiancée and I both loved the s'mores brownie although when we refrigerated it the graham cracker did become a bit soggy so that is something to keep in mind! Cupcake had such a wonderful moist base to the cake, with the frosting being a bit too rich for my liking. My favorite this week (aside from the rainbow cookies) had to be the apple crumb bun- absolutely delicious, and I love that moist icing & crumb combo! Service was prompt, with it being to the point, which is exactly what you want when ordering from a food truck. Truck was also adorably decorated- I do think it would be nice if there were napkins on the metal window piece for customers to take since the desserts can definitely get messy and I would imagine many customers are eating their scrumptious desserts shortly after ordering!

Everything about them is five starts, but their customer service deserves 10 stars. I preordered an Easter order and picked up the day before Easter. I've only stopped at their dessert truck for goodies, so this was new to me. The ordering process was extremely easy, though. They released a line of desserts through their website at a designated time. You then placed your order and a confirmation link with a pickup address is emailed to you. It was very easy to find their kitchen. There's not much to the store other than the rent space to make their treats, but it was decorated very cutesy. I ordered chocolate chip cookies along with rainbow cookie dough. When I got to the pickup window, I told the owner my order number and she packaged the box right in front of me. She was extremely sweet and looked at each guest and genuinely wished everyone a happy Easter. Although it sounds like basic customer service, unfortunately, it's hard to come across owners/managers who are genuine to their customers. Thanks for making this entire process easy! You have a forever customer!

I love these girls so much! Delicious pastries, cookies and cakes. I love seeing what new and festive ideas they come up with. Try stopping by the food truck and give them a follow on Instagram it is well worth it.

We came to their truck at Lewin Farms just when they opened! I suggest you get there for when they open because you will be waiting in line and they run out of their baked goods quickly. It was definitely worth the wait. We ordered an everything off their menu! My favorites were: The cannoli The pumpkin muffin The salted chocolate chip cookie! My friend wanted to visit this truck and invited me to go. Why not? It's a yummy dessert truck. While there weren't many choices it was hard to decide what I wanted. I went with rainbow cookies, rainbow and rainbow cookie cosmic brownie. Both were super good and not too sweet, but sweet enough. There were other things to chose from such as cupcakes, cookies, and churros. They also have gluten free and vegan goodies. Everything is reasonably priced. They do take cards, but charge 3%, which isn't bad. Very friendly service and customer interaction. My friend and I waited about an hour in half in the heat. It was absolutely worth it and I'd do it again!

Okay, I won't start off this review with an obvious pun of saying "For Goodness Sakes!"...whoops, guess I went there anyway (silly Josh). What's not so silly is the level of delectable desserts one tiny food truck is doling out each weekend (Thursday's included). That's where For Goodness Cakes comes rolling in. We (the lady and I) drove out and up to Baiting Hollow just this past weekend to check off this Instagram sensation of sweetness. There's a lot of info tied up into that first paragraph of this review. FGC is just a lil ol' food truck parked on the grounds of Rottkamp's Farmstand (for now, as they're moving locations for the winter). FGC is a weekend only experience hence why there is often a line of hungry humans waiting before the truck even begins serving its sweets. And FGC does rock Instagram just because those aforementioned sweets have a strong aesthetic-ness to them that easily lures you into wanting to make the trek and stand in line so you can take that quintessential Insta pic of a box full of beautiful-looking dessert items. But hey, those items definitely warrant interest beyond the picture (though more on photography in a sec). For Goodness Cakes has a list of basic sweet choices (massive double chip cookies, multi-flavored macarons), and a lot of originality (churro tots and pumpkin spice cannolis?!). I can't forget about the weekly cupcake options and the five-colored rainbow cookies. Let's just say it's easy to spend $40 on dessert (what we ended up doing...heh heh). Our box consisted of a few of those double chip cookies, a couple of pumpkin spice cannolis, a macaron (I believe chocolate raspberry-flavored), 1/4 pound of rainbow cookies, a peanut butter chocolate cupcake, and a macaron stuffed cookie (yes, you read that right). Now here's where things get...intriguing. My girlfriend and I (along with her family) ate our way through a few pieces of each of these items throughout the day and evening, but we each reported, surprisingly, a bit of underwhelmed flavor feelings. Pumpkin spice cannoli? Good, though not necessarily popping with pumpkin taste. Rainbow cookies? A little dry (though we didn't eat them right after purchase so I figured I'd mention that factor). That cupcake? Way too rich for more than a bite. A lot of these mixed feelings made us believe that, perhaps, For Goodness Cakes is more about the picture hype than it is about the desserts themselves... But wait! Don't turn your car around mid-review and think they're not worth the trip (because they probably still are). Those double chip cookies? Amazing! I ate one of them fresh and we had another a few days later (with a little microwave action to get back that melty warmth) and both times they were outta this world. The macaron stuffed cookie also did the trick (as did the macaron, according to the lady). So maybe FGC does have the quality factor flying on their consistent items (though I'm not sure about those rainbow cookies) and the seasonal/special selections are a bit of a hit or miss as they experiment with the seasons. We'll probably need another trip to be sure... Overall, For Goodness Cakes is definitely a fun, little food truck with a lot of delightful dessert options. Yeah, maybe some of them look a little better than they taste and therein lies the struggle (because food photography is only as engaging as the flavor behind the stuff), but there are some heavy hitting sweets that alone are with the trip (cookies for life!). These super friendly ladies are gonna keep rocking their food truck so fingers crossed we get a chance to visit them again soon...yeah, for the Insta pic, but more importantly for the creative and hopefully tasty options being concocted. For goodness sakes, I think it's time to end this review. (I guess the pun did show up after all...heh heh).

A must see (and buy and eat) if you're close to the North Fork! These ladies are as delightful as their sweet treats! We tried a few different items, and each one was special in their own way. The deconstructed rainbow cookie was amazing with just the right amount of chocolate on top. My little one gobbled it up and hardly let me get a taste! The banana chocolate chip cookie that I was supposed to give to my mom was so gooey, crunchy and flavorful, that she only got half of it! And the hubs THOROUGHLY enjoyed his very berry cupcake! We will be back for sure! The oatmeal cream pies I've seen on Instagram look amazing!!

What a sweet little food truck! We have driven by many times but the line has been so long that we hadn't stopped. By some miracle there was no line one afternoon, so we popped in to give it a try! We had already heard amazing things about their desserts. We got the cinnamon bun with butter cream on top, and the churro tots topped with Oreo chunks and strawberries. Both were amazing! Churro tots are best eaten right away otherwise they'll get soggy (especially with toppings), unless you crisp them up in the toaster oven like we did because we saved some of them for the next day. Very nice gals who work there! Will definitely be back again if the line isn't too long! :)

After following these ladies on Instagram, I had to make the drive to try some of their specials! I was disappointed that while waiting in line the churro tots and toasted s'mores macarons that I came for were sold out. By the time I got to the front of the line, only jumbo macarons were available..but I wasn't about to leave empty handed! I got a jumbo macaron which was sandwiched with cookie dough, and I added Nutella and strawberries as my toppings. It was delicious but pricy considering it disappeared so fast. If you want the specials you'll have to wait in line early. The girls in the truck were nice and friendly. I'm not sure I'd make the drive out East just for the truck, but if I see it while I'm out there already I'd definitely consider stopping again!

Back again to remind you that For Goodness Cakes is the best! Wanted to include a review because I have now placed a personal order for a cake and baked goods through their website/email for my daughters first birthday. Communication was so smooth and the process couldn't have been easier. I did order almost 3 months in advance to ensure they were available as they book up quick! I sent a photo I found on Pinterest and they absolutely killed it. I am not a cake person and this was the most delicious cake I've ever had. We also ordered macarons, black and white cookies and cupcakes. Our guests were so impressed and also ate everything . Can't wait to place future orders!

I came here a while back and forgot to post my review so I'm doing it now lol! I came with my partner to try some treats before we placed an order for a full size cake for our anniversary. Everything looks really pretty but it didn't taste great. It was a very hot summer day so I'm not sure if something was up with the refrigeration but everything tasted kinda spoiled it was very strange. We waited on line for over an hour and we were very disappointed. We brought the treats home for our family to try and they all had the same reaction as us.

Omg we live about an hour or more away depending on where they are set up that weekend and we will always drive out to them! Driving out to a food truck that far for a macaroon sounds crazy but it is absolutely worth it!! Their jumbo birthday cake macaroon is my favorite I'm always craving it as well as their tots! Cinnamon bun the other weekend was amazing and ugh can't recommend enough!!!!
