The quality is very inconsistent, but I am still giving them four stars because it ranges from good to great. I have never truly had a bad meal, though granted, I always get a burger, and they are literally known as Better Burger. I would be hesitant to get some of their other options. Again, they are not very consistent. So, I guess this is basically just a review of burgers and a Diet Coke. Where do I even begin? I paid for the Deluxe BBQ Package for 59 people, and what was delivered was beyond disappointing. They showed up with two tiny electric grills that could barely fit four burgers at a time -- and those same small grills were used to cook everything: burgers, sausage, steak (which was hard as a rock and completely inedible), and chicken. There were long lines of guests just standing there waiting for food. Many ended up walking away because it was taking so long. They provided only one small tray of salad, which ran out in the first 20 minutes -- with no refills, no backup, and no dressing (they claimed it was already "on it"). What really frustrated me was the lack of transparency. The company's website shows a large professional grill under the Deluxe Package -- that's NOT what they bring. When I questioned it afterward, they pointed to a line on the invoice that said "electrical outlets needed." I assumed that was for warming trays or fries -- not for cooking everything on a tiny portable Blackstone-style grill. I truly regret not sending them away and just ordering trays of food myself. I paid a lot of money for gross food, poor service, and an embarrassing experience for my guests. On a positive note, we also had the Crepes and Pizza at the party -- and their food was absolutely delicious. If you're planning an event, skip Better Burger LI and go with someone who delivers what they promise. read more

I've tried ordering from this place through DoorDash several times and will get a "Business not open". there is a sitting area that you can hang out at when they are open, its a wooded area so take that as you will, especially in Manorville. read more

We've been driving by this place for years and boy did we miss out by not stopping until last week. We needed to pit stop to feed our baby and we were both starving so I suggested we finally go to this cute truck. They've really upped the anty on their outdoor seating making it super cute and cozy so it was the perfect place for us to feed out baby while waiting for our food. The burgers and sweet potato fries came quickly and were perfectly cooked. They actually tasted healthy- you can tell that they're made from high quality ingredients both by taste and how they made us feel after eating them. No sluggish, bloated grossness- we felt about as good as we'd eaten a plate of roast vegetables haha. My husband got the veggie burger and I got a regular cheese burger and both were delicious. Stopped today for lunch. I ordered the classic cheeseburger and it was good. It came with pickles, lettuce, tomato, cheese, red onion, and on a toasted bun. The French fries were not included but added as a side.... they were good. The burger could of used some seasoning and I like mine medium rare(they didn't ask). Tator tots were likewise good, but I only received seven for $3.50. That works out to $0.50 per tot. We picked up 20 mins later. VERY GOOD, will become a quick stop off for the summer months. Prices are about the norm for NY. Nothing crazy. With the food truck craze, I've seen some crazy prices for poor/average food. This is not the case. Location is easy to find, parking can be a little bit of a challenge. I ordered the Gwonion Burger which has an Onion Ring with Guacamole. When I bit into the burger, the guacamole was still frozen! I had to remove it to keep eating the burger. One of the staff members offered to replace it but the young man who cooked it just shrugged his shoulders and said " I put it in the fryer for the amount of time they tell me to". My brother ordered a classic burger and my son ordered a grilled cheese. We were all very underwhelmed with the quality of the food. We had stomach aches for a few hours after the meal. I totally forgot to wright a review about this place. I stopped by about 2 months ago and I ordered the tater tot's along with a burger. The tater tots were extremely salty!! I decided to try another, thinking that was a bad one. Nope, same thing, SALTY! Pure salt! I was really disappointed because even though it was extremely salty you can taste the potential. I was really disappointed because I was sick and I just wanted to eat a nice hot meal and it was late. I threw away all the tater tots and I didn't even eat the burger. The texture reminded me of a patty from McDonald's. Almost like a rubber texture. To bad this place wasn't what I expected. It's close to my house and the set up is really nice. I'd love to try the tots again but please change your recipes with the amount of salt you use. It's not healthy at all. I've read about 4 other reviews from 2017 right before writing this and people have complained about the same thing. I don't understand why the problem has not been fixed. read more

I hate to be contrary, but food reviews are all subjective. After all the fantastic reviews here I decided to go there for lunch. I wanted to stay with the basics so I just ordered a cheeseburger, fries and a coke. The cheeseburger was pretty good and the bun was nice and soft. The fries, however, were shoestrings and a poor imitation of McDonald's. I can't help comparing this place with another food truck, Go-Burger. Set in the shade amidst the wood walls , garden center, artistic wood carvings and taco truck this location is a win win for all that travel through this gateway.
