It can get pretty packed here so I always try to get there early and we love sitting at the bar, Bartenders are very friendly. My favorite things to get: buffalo wings, old bay fries, and their Caesar salad is by far my favorite one in the whole city and I get it with steak. The bar is always decorated for the holidays and it's very cute.

Went to Mifflin Tavern for the first time for my friend's birthday and I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered 4 small bites to share and drinks. Both food and drinks were so good! We ordered the cheese sticks, buffalo wings, buffalo quesadilla and garlic and parm fries. The cheese sticks and it was not your regular cheese sticks. These were were wrapped in egg roll wraps and they were crispy, gooey, thicc and delicious. Quesadilla and wings had really good good flavor. Quesadilla was crispy on the outside and delicious on the inside. We had our wings ordered as well done so it was really crispy on the outside as well. There's not much to say about the fries; cooked well and well seasoned. Drinks were also really good. Had the blood orange margarita and the blueberry lemonade. My favorite was the blueberry lemonade but because I couldn't taste the alcohol -- it could make it a really dangerous game. The server we had was also very nice. He explained about the cheese sticks (about how it's not like regular mozzarella sticks), made some recommendations and was very attentive thru out the whole night. Overall, I was really delighted by everything. From price, portions, flavor and service. I would definitely be back.

Walking in, there was great 80s music going...they also had a jukebox there but what they were playing was enjoyable enough. Couldnt decide what to try from the menu,Decided on the breakfast burger... I hope the chicken parm sandwich is still there next time. It was a slow enough day where the cook also took our order, so got to talk a bit about the inner workings there. The only downside were the acoustics in there, when people talked loud it seemed to echo off the wood floors etc so I could imagine what it would be like on a busy night...

We'd walked by this place a million times and finally stopped in on a Friday night. No happy hour specials (at least at regular tables) but still a large menu with reasonable prices. I'd say skip the grilled cheese unless you're a kid (it's genuinely just cheese and white bread, nothing to write home about) but everything else was very good! For what the place is (a neighborhood bar) I think it's good. Our waitress was great which added points! Plus I can imagine in the summer we'll love the outdoor bar!

I had a great time here for trivia night. They have a deck area with heaters that is warm enough to sit in a sweater but not a full winter jacket. It was really fun and I felt the staff was very accommodating!

It's hearty for sure, with a seared lemon wedge--as if it needs any more flavor. Worth a visit if here for a night or you're a local!

We asked for the toppings on the side because, you know, kids, but WOW. The vodka sauce was delicious, and the pickled tomato concoction that came with them? I could've bathed in it. The calamari was perfectly crisp and came with the unexpected bonus of onion rings, which were ever-so-lightly battered and perfectly crunchy. And once again, the sauces were superb. The boys shared a cheese pizza, half pepperoni, and really enjoyed it. My husband ordered the burger, and yes, I stole a bite--and yes, to no one's surprise, it was amazing. We also ordered the charred broccoli after seeing everyone rave about it online. They were NOT wrong. Creamy, smoky, charred perfection. And finally... drumroll please... the 10 oz. smoked Duroc pork chop! OH. EM. GEEE. Perfectly charred on the outside and incredibly juicy inside, sitting in the most delicious smoky morita-apricot glaze and topped with a bright cucumber-melon salad with mint and blue basil. The contrast was perfection! The rich, smoky pork, the sweet and slightly spicy glaze, and that cool, fresh salad on top. Every bite had the perfect combination of flavors and textures. Easily one of the best pork chops I've ever had. As wonderful as the food was, the service somehow made the experience even better. From the minute we arrived, we were treated like family coming home for the holidays. Warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. What an absolute joy of a restaurant. Darling Jack's, I WILL be back!

On a whim, I called Butcher Bar and told them I know it's last minute on a Saturday night, but could they accommodate 9 people. They told me if we were there in 30 minutes they could make it work, so we rushed over. We sat at the bar for drinks as they cleaned up a table. They overheard us talking about how The Trough would be nice (feeds 8 for $300, but was more than enough for us 9), and said if we wanted that they could get it started as the table was prepared. We said yes, and were sat a few minutes later with drinks in hand. Jenna (Gema? She had grape earrings) was a fantastic server and just so kind and attentive. She kept the drinks flowing and The Trough arrived sooner than I expected and was everything I wanted for dinner and more. I can't thank Butcher Bar enough for saving the night for my 40th and just providing a fantastic experience. We'll be back, and we promise to give more notice next time! :)

Overall Ratings Atmosphere - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Food - 4/5 Parking - Street Parking Atmosphere - The restaurant has a modern and inviting atmosphere with plenty of seating. It's a great spot to watch sporting events, and the energy during the World Cup Final made the experience even more enjoyable. Service - Our two servers were absolutely amazing. They were personable, friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. They checked on us regularly without being overbearing and were happy to answer our questions. Their excellent service really elevated the entire experience. What We Ordered - -SouthGate Citywide - Good. A refreshing drink that paired well with the food. -$1 Wings - Excellent value. The wings were crispy, cooked consistently, and had great flavor. We tried both the soy and spicy sauces, and both were delicious. -Sotteok-Sotteok - Unfortunately, this was the only disappointing item. The rice cakes were noticeably undercooked, and the Japanese sausages tasted like standard store bought varieties. Considering the wait time and the price, this dish didn't live up to expectations. Final Thoughts - While one of the food items missed the mark, everything else about the experience was excellent. The atmosphere was fun, the wings were a great value, and the service was outstanding. Honestly, just the interactions we had with our servers alone would be enough reason for me to come back. I'd happily return for the drinks, the wings, and to try more of the menu.
