Stopped in here on a recommendation from a friend and was not disappointed. The pizza was superb and the service was amazing. In particular was kassandra. She was super patient, helpful, friendly, and very inviting. Will definitely go back the next time we are passing through and highly recommend for anyone in the area to stop in and check out

Great pizza and even better customer service. The pizza was on point, and it was nice to see the service actually match the quality of the food. Friendly staff, quick service, and a solid overall experience. Definitely best pizza in truckee and Tahoe area hands down!!!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]As soon as you walk in the door you're welcomed with the delightful smell of fresh pizza and a warm atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was delicious and the customer service was exceptional. I didn't catch the gal at the registers name but she was incredibly friendly and very accommodating. My daughter wanted some pineapple on her cheese pizza and she assured us it was no problem. They have fun games to play while you wait for your food. The lady working offered to take a picture of my daughter and I, which was very sweet. This was the perfect place to stop after boarding.

Krissandra was so kind and cool!!! She was a great host & she made the experience even better! The pizza was pretty good, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the whole vibe was super fun.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]My friends and I had a great time playing the games they offer while hanging out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Definitely a fun spot to chill and grab a bite![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Spectacular -- gimme 14 of 'em! Placed a pickup order but I wanted to stay the whole day! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a cozy and welcoming place that felt like home this time of year.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The classic pepperoni was delicious-- could not have been more perfect! "Cooked to perfection" they say. Thanks for making this an unexpected highlight to our trip. Happy Holidays.

Last slice of Goldfinger: white sauce, garlic, chicken, tomatoes, fresh basil, balsamic drizzle.

Slow service. One guy doing it all. We came on a weekend. The pizza had a thin, crispy crust. We tried the special blend (combination) and Goldfinger. I recommend the Goldfinger: white sauce, garlic, chicken, tomatoes, fresh basil, and balsamic drizzle.

Stopped after playing a round of disc golf at Kingvale. The sandwich was great, pizza by the slice was yummy, and the breadsticks were a great snack too. Good service and friendly vibes.

It was THE BEST Tri-Tip I've ever had; cooked to perfection, with a tasty (I think) red wine reduction sauce. Not sure if this is served daily, because I couldn't find it on their regular menu. We were there on a Saturday. I do see on the menu that they have a tri-tip salad, and am betting it would be equally delicious. The fried foods were cooked perfectly too, the breading was light and airy, and they weren't overly oily. I've had far too many meals at restaurants where the chefs neglect to change the oil frequently enough. You could tell that this place used good quality, fresh oil. The drinks were a bit pricey; around $12 per shot or drink. The bar atmosphere is fun; there's unique stickers and dollar-bill artwork scattered around. The staff is down-to-earth and friendly. The food was very reasonable though. Considering 1 nasty fast-food burger now costs $10, I didn't mind paying $24 for the Tri-Tip that came with mashed potatoes and veggies; plus the leftovers fed me again the next day. Don't judge a book by it's cover - this restaurant is situated on tall wooden stilts (probably because of deep winter snow), and it looks a bit shabby. I can only imagine how the snow and wind take their toll on a restaurant situated on a mountain summit! The food, ambiance, view, servers, and bar completely make up for the lack of outward fanciness. Two staircases lead up to the restaurant. Am not sure if it's ADA friendly, and I forgot to check if there is an elevator. The indoor portion of the restaurant is enclosed with large windows, so no matter where you sit, you can see the beauty of nature around you. Outdoor seating is ample, and has fantastic views. Would be stunning to be there while the sun is setting.

Here is what we noticed: - Fun dive bar/restaurant vibe inside, a big place with a server waiting on the tables in the front room and a slew of extra tables in the back (just order at the bar). There were also lots of tables out on the deck. - Huge menu...and lunch specials too. - A fair selection of beers on tab, including at least one IPA and one Hazy. There were two canned NA beer options for my wife to choose from. - My wife and I ordered the BLTA sandwich and asked for the fries to be extra crispy. We also ordered the Taco Salad. Our plan was to split both. The sandwich was good, with tons of bacon but skimpy on everything else, and with bread that was pretty ordinary store-bought bread. The Taco Salad, was really good, with a homemade tortilla bowl/shell. The fries were good, but not particularly "extra crispy." - Service was great. Bottom line: Old 40 hit the spot after a morning on a nearby trail and in the sun, and it would also be great after a day of skiing, but it wouldn't necessarily be a place we'd go out of our way to visit.

But the quality of the food compared to prior years has definitely dropped off. They changed up the paninis/grilled sandwiches which used to always be winners. Bread was stale, one side was overly toasted, the other soggy and disintegrating like it had been sitting under a heat lamp. Fries here used to delectable. Now? Stale, either over or under seasoned depending on the fry, and tasted like they had been cooked an hour ago. Hopefully still great for watching games (note to Bay Area kids, this is a "Kings Bar"). Sadly, we may scrap convenience when staying at the hotel and head over to Donner just up the road for aprés ski. Shame, such a difference from prior years where we ate here once a week through the winter season. I will say, the service was as friendly and accommodating as ever, but not much they can do about the kitchen/menu.

New leadership from Travis Pranke (with a restaurant mgmt pedigree stretching through the finest Michelin dining in the word) will elevate this space from 'hey, our resort has a steakhouse' to a place that foodies will go out of their way to find and enjoy. We spent five nights at the Everline, with no expectation of decent food in the area...a drive to Truckee maybe but knowing Tahoe is mostly miss and miss. But something about Six Peaks intrigued us, so menu unseen we showed up on our first night. Immediately we knew the old school late 20th Century decor wasn't the vibe this place was doing...this was fine dining at its best. As if writing, they do a $95 four course prix fixe which is actually five courses (four plus dessert). Chef Watkins keeps a through line for the courses but varies the palate; while many restaurants of this caliber start to taste the same by the third course, every dish was a unique palate of excellence.. Wins - the bar (new spins on classic cocktails), the attention to detail (my water glass never was below half full), the veg (so fresh - ZOMG the morel mushrooms!)...everything. Keep an eye out for this place...and go now if you want to lock in that prix fixe price because when word gets out on this place, folks will happily pay double for the same thing!

The food was excellent - the Wagyu tartare came with a strip of cooked steak that was a nice surprise addition. The endive salad was fresh and a good size portion. The sheepshead fish special was also good with a curry sauce twist. The scallop side with the tomahawk was good - 2 large scallops. Kids were done by the time we got the entrees after a long wait so we didn't even look at the dessert menu. Ambiance was really nice with picturesque views with large windows and live piano playing.
