horrible attorneys...i have PTSD from the unfair treatment abuse after i requested help with getting medical treatment to see a Dr with my pain injuries I was having, attorney told me get the hell out out he didn't care about my medical request he was gonna get his 10% weather I didn't ever comeback, died, do whatever you F--- you want just get the F--- out he stated, I left crying I've never in my life sued anyone im scared of lawyers now careless, all about money. What a headache of a law office. They were in charge of my father's workers comp case. My family reached out to their office letting them know my father had passed a month after it happened. They continued to collect payment to the point we received a letter from the state that we owed money when it was the law office cashing the payments. It was easier and more helpful to contact the state directly. The law office was zero help. It look THREE MONTHS to receive a letter from this office and it was a letter we already received stating we owed money when it was already paid. Don't expect a call back or any type of help. The letter was whited out and the envelope was poorly labeled. Disappointing they couldn't even help after my father's death. read more

Update Yesterday was the case between Ford & Wallach and myself because the firm no longer wanted me as a client. The judge removed the firm. After approximately 7 years, I found out the case is still in "discovery of evidence" and 2 injuries are accepted. More importantly, I filed a complaint with the California Bar Association against the attorney for not communicating with me. Simple things like making appointments takes them 6 months. As a client, always remember the California Bar Association is there to hold attorneys accountable if needed. read more

If I ever had any questions it would take about a few days to get a response from anyone and when I did call, the legal assistant sounded irritated with any questions I asked.... Umm hello of course I had a ton of questions, this was my first time dealing with this. My case started beginning of 2020 possibly late 2019 by early 2022 I was getting no where with this law firm. I dropped them and had a different law firm represent me.. few months later my case was finally closed and I received a settlement with my OTHER law firm, while this law firm said I would not receive any kind of settlement. Ford & WALLACH was recommended by my union few years ago. My attorney at this office started off great but overtime I NOW feel my case is being neglected. I'm not informed or updated about my case, my calls or emails are not returned. If I request a phone consultation with my attorney to get updates he's hurried, agitated, dismissive, will interject a situation that seems to be a problem and then it's minimize as not a problem. The most recent situation; one of his colleague replaced him in a disposition. She was not really familiar with my case. She had a wrong understanding about a situation involving my case. And was passing along inaccurate information. My case have been dragging on for a long time. I don't mind if it's dragging on due to critical or vital situations that are being handled or managed but if it's dragging on due to neglect. I'm very concerned. I'm not sure what to do? I referred a coworker during the early stages with this case. She is also complaining and feels he's a horrible attorney. I feel bad about referring her and feel responsible. I've had my Workman's Compensation case open for quite some time and was recently encouraged to speak to an attorney. I had a couple of attorneys in the past however due to what I believed to be poor communication and lack of concern for my well-being I chose not to work with them. Over time I was told that it wouldn't be in my best interest to get an attorney. Recently, I was linked with Attorney Cody Launder of Ford & Wallach's Law office. While talking to Mr. Launder I felt he was genuinely concerned and interested in my case; he was engaging, allowed me to talk and answer and ask questions. After a while of talking, I heard his timer go off, and I mentioned it. Attorney Launder said it was okay, that he wanted to make sure I understood what he was sharing with me. I only wish I had known of Mr. Launder at the onset of my case; I believe i would've had more smiles than tears and the case would've probably been resolved by now. These Workman's compensation attorneys work on quantity over quality. They are difficult to work with and never call you back, so you have to call the adjuster yourself, and then they get mad because you spoke with the adjuster. I have had 2 surgeries and have yet to have one millisecond of occupational therapy, and have literally begged and cried to get this going so I could return to work. I had to call the adjuster again just trying to get paid, and even though I haven't received a check in almost 4 weeks, Cheryl Wallach just told me, "If I had to file a petition for every check that was late, I couldn't do it." She doesn't care, because she gets paid, we as clients have to wait sometimes 3 weeks for a callback from Angie, her paralegal. I'm so disappointed in Cheryl and Robert and Angie from Ford & Wallach. I don't know the rules regarding workers compensation, but I would think as attorneys they would care a little more about their clients that need help to get better. So disappointed!! read more
