Came here with extended family after a long day of touring the city. Everyone we spoke with was pleasant and delightful. Our wait staff Anitra was a ray of sunshine. EVERYTHING on the menu looked GOOD, so it was difficult to decide but finally I decided on the Henry Chicken and it was amazing!! Everyone loved their dishes. Everything was hot and fresh. The ambiance is so clever and fun with the garage theme. Loved all the little details, especially the "napkins." Great location for families with kids too. Enjoy! read more

We recently visited Ford's Garage in Short Pump, and overall, it was a mixed experience. A cute place. The highlights were definitely the appetizers and burger. The soft pretzel, wings, and bison burger were all absolutely delicious--10/10 across the board. I would gladly return just for those items alone. Even the Coke Zero from the soda fountain was surprisingly perfect. It tasted like it was mixed by Mr. Coke himself! Unfortunately, some of the entrees missed the mark. My three-year-old ordered the fish and chips from the kids' menu, and the fish was so hard and overcooked that it was nearly impossible to bite into. For a children's meal, that was very disappointing. The manager did offer to replace it, which was appreciated, but by then she had already filled up eating from everyone else's plates. She did get two sides of fruit which was smaller than a cup portion and it was $4.99 each. Won't ever do that again. Two people at our table ordered steaks cooked medium, but both arrived extremely overcooked. They were so tough that it felt like Ford had literally turned one of their tires into a steak. Thankfully, the manager replaced them, and the new steaks were absolutely delicious. Another issue was the vegetables. Everything seemed heavily seasoned with pepper, making them less appealing and definitely not kid-friendly. The seasoning was simply overpowering. The service was also just okay. Our waitress was not very attentive and rarely checked on the table. We frequently had to get her attention to clear finished plates, refill drinks, and handle other basic service needs that should have been addressed without prompting. Maybe she is still learning, and everyone has to start somewhere, but the level of attentiveness simply wasn't there during our visit. Gratuity had already been added to the check, but I still left an additional tip because I believe people deserve a living wage and I appreciate anyone working in the service industry. The manager did a great job addressing the food issues and was quick to make things right, which I appreciated. Overall, the experience was decent. I'm glad we tried it, and while I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to return, I would happily go back for the pretzel, wings, and bison burger--or if someone invited me along. read more

We were seated outside and for 15 minutes we had a server walking past us several times who never acknowledged we were sitting there or approached our table. I understand that the server may not be the server for that table, but she could still acknowledge that we were there and let us know that she would grab our weight staff. The menu looked delicious, however, I am not willing to spend my hard earned money at an establishment where the wait staff doesn't even acknowledge your presence when it was not crowded. As we walked back into the restaurant, the female bartender did ask us if we had been served and seemed very pleasant. My recommendation is if you're visiting to sit at the bar. A local chain in Short Pump that we've ended up at a few times since it opened, and honestly, it's become an easy go-to. The food is exactly what you'd expect from a chain: good, consistent, and gets the job done. Nothing mind-blowing, but no complaints either. The staff has always been warm and welcoming. Never had a bad interaction here. Also, shoutout to the cleanliness because yes, I will judge a place by its bathrooms. Overall, you're not coming here for a fine dining experience, but that's not the point. It's a cute, dependable spot to meet up with friends or family when you want something easy and low-stress. read more

Met up with some old High School friends for dinner here. It was my first visit. The atmosphere is pretty cool. Some old car stuff outside and inside. There was also plenty of parking with a parking garage nearby. The food is typical bar food and a decent beer selection. Unfortunately the first 2-3 beers we asked for they were out of... We were not in a hurry to eat and leave since we had not seen each other in a while... but if it had been a normal dinner with friends- the service would have been slow. We had to go get the waitress for the checks. But still overall worth a try. We will go back again and it is in a good location for other things that we do in that area. read more

I really hate writing bad reviews for a restaurant that I feel like has very correctable issues. First I'd like to say that the ambiance of this place is fantastic. Theming is incredible from the bathrooms to all the outside decor. It was very well thought out. Now on to the bad. The service here was flat out awful. From the host having absolutely no energy or engagement with us. She felt like robot just going through the motions. It was then followed up with even worse service from our waitress. I would have taken the dead pan service of the host over her. First interaction I had with her was asking if the happy hour food menu was active (as we were here at 3pm on a Tuesday) was immediately shut down and told this was only allowed at the bar. Fine. Terrible policy when there are only 3 people in your restaurant but even worse when you repeat it to me like I'm a child. And then to not even offer to allow us to sit at the bar. This set the tone for the entire rest of our stay. Went to place our orders and my date asked the waitress to what salad dressings Fords Garage offered for the side salad. Was met with the reply "idk girl we have all the dressings. You're better off just telling me what dressings you like" she then asked if they offered Cesar. Shocker this wasn't one of "all" the dressings. Fast forward. She ended up getting the ranch (cause who knows what other options they actually have). My date told me the ranch was a little off so I decided to taste it. Might have been the most bland, flavorless, and watered down ranch I have ever come across. If it was even ranch. The saving grace for this review to not get a one star was the decor and the burgers. While the burgers were by no means fantastic. They were edible and if the price point was slightly lower it would come in as a good value. We had just got back from Florida where we have seen many Ford Garages on our trip. We were elated to learn there was one closer to home. If this is the standard other Fords Garage chains hold there staff and food to I will not be coming to another one. As for this one. Save yourself the time and money and go to the hundreds of other better options in the area. read more

Second time I have been in and they lost my prebook check in and my check in when I arrived. I was told I received a text 27 min ago only to remind the young lady I just checked in with her 20 min before. Not to mention that they show a 45 min wait but had half of the tables open. Looks like a staffing issue. Ridiculous management issues are there. Food is typical chain food. read more

My wife and I both opted for the black & blue burger--a rarity for us to order the same thing--so we decided to split sides of onion rings and truffle fries. Since it was a 'cheat day,' we also added an order of 10 wings to save for dinner. Everything was excellent; the burgers were hefty and loaded with bacon and fixings, while the wings and sides were equally delicious. Our first visit to this area and restaurant as requested by family members. The Ambiance was nice with Antique Ford vehicles and engines and waiters we dressed as auto mechanics who seated and served your food.The service was fast and our waiter answered any questions we had. Our food arrived is when we were shocked by the lack of normal portions, we asked our waiter if this was a lunch meal instead of a dinner meal, we were told no it's a dinner meal. My wife asked if she could have some extra food due to the lack of. The waiter returned and informed my wife that they just ran out of that dish and wasn't making any more at that time. As for the waiter he did a great job, As for the restaurant they need to have better food control also informed customer that their food portion is much smaller than posted menu pictures. Fun lunch stop with kids while grandma was in town. My mother in law was visiting from Scotland so we decided to try Ford's Garage out for the first time as a fun bit of Americana with our lunch. All staff were friendly. Kids meals were well portioned and the fruit cup chosen by two of my kids was good quality fruit which isn't always the case with a kids meal fruit cup as many parents know. All the food came out in good time. My roadster burger, the 1/3 pound size, was perfect portion for a still big lunch, and the accompanying fries were hot crispy, and well seasoned. Everyone enjoyed their meals. My husband had one of the big 1/2pound burgers, and grandma had the crispy chicken sandwich. All the decor and details were thought out to follow the garage theme, making it a fun place for kids and adults alike. Personally the oil rag napkins were my favorite touch--spot on theme plus much more effective for wiping messy hands than paper or your typical stiff restaurant napkin. We'd go again. read more

This place was awful. Where to begin... we met the in-laws for dinner. It was a Thursday and early and we had reservations. I love to have a drink and maybe an appetizer before feeling I'm being rushed to order. Ever go somewhere and feel like, well this isn't a fun experience at all. That was this. If the waitress asked one more time after only 15 minutes if we were ready tomorrow order before we even got our drinks. It was beyond annoying. Then we asked well what do you recommend. That alone seemed to throw her off. Then we aren't even remotely done eating. "Yea, so can I get your check or do you need anything else." It was a very interesting and not fun experience at all. I got the chicken fingers. Those were actually not bad. Steak awful. Just don't, which I wasn't surprised. The salmon salad, MIL LOVED. Idk go if you just want a to enjoy a meal and company. I'm pleasantly surprised w Ford's Garage. I wasn't sure what to expect but was treated to good food, great happy hour and very friendly staff. Plus the place is decorated in the best way as an homage to classic automobiles. We knocked off of work a little early because it was a long day and we decided to grab a bite to eat and a beverage. We were originally going to visit another restaurant in the area but were reminded by Yelp when we searched that Ford's Garage was right around the corner. Always looking for something new, so we changed our plan and headed to Ford's. Let's start with the decor. It was all-in on the classic automobile vibe, right down to the napkin rings (hose clamps). My husband said it reminded him of a Disney restaurant where no detail is overlooked. Well done! We were created by the bartender and given a bunch of menus and a great explanation of options. So much to choose from and it all looked great! For drinks, we chose the old fashioned and a margarita spicy. Both were good and you can't beat the $5 happy hour price. We decided to try the cheese curbs, ahi tuna and buffalo wings. They were all very tasty but I asked for soy sauce for the tuna. The dipping sauce it came with was too sweet for me. We plan to go back again to try a burger or a sandwich or even a salad. They had quite a few items that look super appealing. Ford's will definitely be on our happy hour rotation. Went here for lunch on a Monday. We had a great experience. The food came out quickly and our server was attentive. Onion rings were super crispy, burgers were cooked perfectly (medium rare) and my lunch size salad was still huge). We also got a free order of pretzels from downloading the app and the pretzels were soft & warm. The theme is definitely on point, from the decor to the way food was presented and even the bathrooms. (Note: turn the white handle on the side of the sinks to get the water running, it took me a long time to figure it out.) Ryley was not a good server she didn't pay much attention to drinks or nothing else. we had to ask for drink refills then she come back to the table with ONE DRINK smh. Went on a Thursday night....seated immediately. Our server LaFire was pleasant, knowledgeable, and attentive. The automotive motif was different and pretty cool (silverware wrapped in an old school shop rag and hose clamp) and TVs on the walls were playing the NCAA tournament. Soooo with all the mixed reviews on this newer food spot in SP we decided to give @fordsgarageusa a try for HH (small investment, right?). And the short answer is we are not the targeted audience *in my Keith Lee voice* What we loved: the aesthetics are amazing (most agree). The customer service at the bar A+ (attentive and friendly...food/drink delivery was also in good timing). Areas of concern: HH food is only served at the bar (I get it some places don't offer the specials throughout the establishment) Crispy chicken bites: nice sized chunks, served piping hot, decent portion and the coating was seasoned 3/5 ($6) $10 Beer Combos: Woodward burger (described as a 1/4 beef burger which I asked to be cooked medium well but was served more well done wasn't horrible but seriously lacked flavor (2.8/5) fries were ok but served warm (2.2/5), I'm not a beer connoisseur so I opted for their sweet tea and baby I had to add water (it was really sweet but brewed perfectly 5/5 if you like super sweet). My mom opted for the crispy chicken sandwich: full chicken breast which was huge in comparison to the burger but had absolutely no seasoning on the chicken or batter served hot tho (1.9/5) fries again warm at best, she did enjoy her beer (like seven to choose from). Good amount of customers so for some this place is a win. read more

This place is *fine* at very best. Our server, Ryan, was so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Otherwise, the rest of the experience is pretty bland. The HH food is only served at the bar, which doesn't seem like a great business plan, but I know other chains do this too for some odd reason. The HH drinks are available at the dining tables, and I asked for a house marg. The server told me they were out of the regular ingredients for a house marg, but that he could get something similar made. I agreed, and while my drink was pretty good, it took nearly 20 minutes to come out despite there being less than 10 tables full in the entire restaurant (and maybe 1 single patron at the bar). The food menu has a lot of good options, but of course I had to try a burger. I do have to hand this to them - the burger was tasty, cooked well, and the toppings had a lot of flavor. I was a bit grumpy by the time I got my food just because of the HH weirdness and the slowness of drink service, but I did truly enjoy the burger. The fries are meh. I don't think this place is worth a regular visit, but if you're not in SP very often and want a burger, it might be fun to try. read more

Our alum chapter met here for a watch party. The mgmt constantly checked to make sure everything was great. The server really checked on us. I had the salmon with coleslaw and mash potatoes. It was really good. Seems like this places really pops as far as night life on saturdays. read more
