Loved the atmosphere. The restaurant is decorated with vintage cars and car parts and has the appearance of an antique auto shop. Cool picture spots for tourists in the area. Service was great. The staff are nice and they have 150 beers on tap!! Nice full bar, booths and tables and did I mention 150 beers on tap? Had the double stack, 2 x 1/3 lb patties and the works cooked perfectly medium. Wife had the Cali and she said outstanding and cooked perfectly medium. Had one of the 150 beers too, nice and cold. I stopped by on the way to drop off my daughter's cat at her place in Tampa. I mention this because I was a little nervous about being the weird lady with the cat carrier, but our server, who said she had 4 cats herself, couldn't have been nicer about it and even brought us some ahi! She was attentive but not TOO attentive. We sat outside (obviously) which had cute decor, and the food was really good. My daughter had ribs, and I had the Cobb salad. All great. Super fun burger joint! Everything is car-themed including the bathroom sinks!! Really fun vibe, very chill servers and tasty food. We shared the giant onion rings and they rocked. They come with a chipotle ketchup that's awesome. I had the mushroom Swiss burger and loved it! Cooked perfectly and very good. Came with crispy and delicious fries. Ford's Garage is a good place to just kick back for a drinks and snacks or a casual din after a day of shopping at the outlets located right there in the same shopping center. We all chose the build your own burger option. Way fun! There's something for everyone including gluten free and vegan patrons. Buffalo, ahi tuna, lamb, Kobe beef, chicken, turkey, black Angus and my choice, the grilled portobello cap. Almost a dozen cheeses, over a dozen sauces including their famous "boom boom sauce". There are fun toppings, some at additional costs but not outrageous. Unique stand outs were the jambalaya, black Angus chili and the white truffle bacon. Don't worry fellow veg-heads, there's plenty of avocado, arugula, even peanut butter as some of the options for us. The lettuce wrap is a good option for the calorie conscious or gluten free patrons and the pretzel bun for the more semi-adventurous. We all enjoyed eating and creating our own meals! We sampled a few tasty brews...The Funky Buddha Sweet Potato brew and the Rouge Voodoo doughnut were both winners. The design of the place is great! The car theme is so creatively carried the throughout the space! Don't miss the sinks in the restrooms! Prices were fair. Service was good. ****UPDATE**** It makes me happy when a review is heard and something is done, I just want to let people know that a representative from Ford's Garage responded to my review almost immediately and talked to me about my experience. They have let me know they were glad to know there was an issue and let me know they like to hear from their customers. **** The service at the outside bar was less than stellar on a Friday afternoon. He was less than attentive and seemed disgusted when I didn't know what I wanted to drink other than water for the moment. Finally got my food order (fish and chips) in and when it finally came out my fish was hardly edible and was in one huge piece - maybe the way they do it but not what I was expecting and was not described on the menu as such. I knew there were potato wedges instead of typical french fries but tried to look past that when ordering (just not what I'm used to for fish and chips). When asked how my meal was, I said it wasn't that great. This seemed to be a tough response for him as he seemed to be somewhat speechless but just walked away instead of inquiring further. Overall I don't mind this place if I am with a group of people but it is never my first choice (their burgers are pretty tasty). The theme is a fun garage type atmosphere with gas pumps and different oddities around the restaurant. I had so much fun at Ford's Garage! Earlier in the day, Mark A. & I took a visit to Ford's home, so of course we had to come to Ford's Garage to stick with the theme. And this restaurant sure has an awesome theme! The door handles are gas pump handles. There is a car table outside. There's a car above the bar that occasionally will have smoke come out of it just for fun. The servers wear mechanic-type tops. I almost wanted to buy one for myself. The burger was LARGE, juicy, and cheesy. We also ordered the truffle parm fries, which were great. We had a friendly server, who led me to a wonderful discovery of Kopperberg strawberry lime cider. So very thankful for her because it tasted amazing! It's like drinking strawberry soda! The food here was great. The beer selection is great. And my experience was great. Love it! read more

PRETTY GOOD JOINT 3 1/2 STARS, actually. We split a Dunk City Cheeseburger and it was just fine. Not exceptional in that it was very plain tasting, but it was indeed huge and we were glad we divided it. The Truffle Fries ($2 upgrade!) were also okay, but nothing special. Completely genius! Why didn't anyone think of this sooner? Put a decent sports bar at the edge of Miromar outlets. The husbands and boyfriends can chill there all day, drink beer, and watch sports as the ladies all get their shopping done. Usually I have to drag my poor boyfriend to Miromar, but now... quoted straight from his lips, "let's go to the outlets every weekend!" That's music to my hears. ahah! They have a decent beer selection. There's a great Saturday deal for buy any 4 bottled beers, get the 5th one free! And it really means ANY bottled beer, not just the typical domestic stuff. As for food, we only tried the fries sampler. They were decent. The burgers from the other tables looked delicious. I'll have to try those next time! Since they just opened, be prepared to wait! When we got there around 1PM, a table for 2 people was an hour. They'll put your name in and text you when your table is ready. Which is nice, you can walk around the outlet instead of be confined around the restaurant area. Hopefully the intense wait will die down after the place has been open a little longer. My wife and I took our daughter, her fiance and our grandson here last night, pretty cool layout and liked the car over the bar that honked and blew exhaust out of the pipe. I wasn't as thrilled about some of my food as others at the table. We started out with the pretzel sticks and cheese dips and shared those amongst the table and they were awesome. I ordered the Chili/Cheddar cheese burger w/fries and it was good, but not what I had expected (considering I've had a few of these in my day). The chili wasn't as hot as I'd hoped and the beef was a bit overcooked for me. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food quite a bit. Not sure when I will be back here, since it's 140 miles away from home, but I might give it another try and just order a different burger or maybe the wings instead. We just finished dinner. Our server Lindsay was the best server I have had anywhere in MONTHS. Kind, knowledgeable, and efficient. So much so that I asked for the manager just to compliment her. Who owns this location? I usually love Ford's Garage, I've been to the others several times... and I think this one once before, sitting at the outside bar. But I'm alone this time, and this experience has been ridiculous. I get that because I'm alone and even with my dinner and 2 beers a relatively a small bar tab. But I've been here for over an hour and a half and only acknowledged 4x which is why I've only had 1 food item and 2 beers. It took me 4 tries to shout down someone just to get the dressing that was supposed to come with my salad. I've been getting dirty, nasty looks since. (And I didn't even complain! I just said I really needed the dressing.) They're not busy at all - they're literally standing around, and disappearing occasionally. But like I said, I'm a cheap tab. Another customer just walked out. I'm shocked this is who they would hire at what's otherwise a really good chain. I guess the pickings really are slim. I've never felt so ignored. Heard about Ford's Garage while we were downtown at Firestone's Grille and the valet mentioned that Miromar Outlets had one. Stopped for lunch while shopping and were pleased with the food and atmosphere. I had the Ford's Signature burger with onion rings and my wife had a custom-assembled Angus Burger with the fresh-cut fries. Both burgers were made as ordered but we expected to have a more beefy taste from the hand-made, never frozen meat. They have a strong beer selection with both inside and outside bars. We finished with a slice of Mom's Rum Cake and coffee which were both very good. The atmosphere is casual, interesting and friendly. Our waitress, Shelby (what a great name for that place), had just the right amount of attentiveness without overdoing it and knew the menu well. We'll be back and also try the other two locations in the downtowns of Fort Myers and Cape Coral. read more

I have enjoyed this place for 4 years and never had a problem. Last visit was horrible! I found hair in my burger and the waiter acted like it was no big deal. He reluctantly asked his supervisor for a meal credit as he reminded me the tip should be on the full amount of the check. I did tip him appropriately but found his response to be out of line.
