Visited once while in town and ended up coming back because the food and service was so great.

Awesome burgers! Came in today 3/29 around 5pm. There were 5 of us total 3 adults and 2 kids. I called before to see if they took reservations. The girl on the phone said they do reservations 24hrs ahead of time. So that was out. When I arrived wait approximate was 20-25min, time ended up being about 10min so no complaints. We were seated outside. It was a little loud with the music. We ordered drinks first, at the same time we put our food order in and apps. Food and apps all came out together. Cocktails were decently priced my mule was $11.99, margaritas were in the $10.50 range. There were many burger options prices ranged from $14-$17.50. Food did take a while to come out, but I did notice the sign up front that asked to be patient with longer wait times. Therefore, no complaints. While I was waiting I signed up for the Motor Club and since my birthday was on 3/24 I was still eligible for a birthday Sunday. It was a refreshing treat to end the evening. Please please give recognition to our waitress Kaycee she was the sweetest, and such a great amd attentive waitress! We ate at Fords garage back during the peak of the pandemic and thought they were good. Today on our monthly trip to Costco we decided to give them another shot and see if anything has changed. Well they definitely were good during Covid but have gotten even better over that time period. Even with a lengthy wait to be seated we went to the bar to kill some time. My beer was topped with blueberries, strange but delicious!!!!! As for the food the onion ring tower was hot and crispy and my Vegan burger had a chipotle ranch that was very spicy but delicious. Definitely would recommend coming here and grabbing a meal. read more

This is one of my favorite places around town. I always make a stop here when I need an oil change, and the food never disappoints. Thankfully it is a nice place to hang out until my truck is ready. Service has always been quick and they even have a window take-out area if needed. read more

Fords garage is so amazing. The staff is amazing. The ambiance is amazing. The food was 10/10 for our whole group of 24 people. Our car group got together for a cruise and afterwards we headed to Fords Garage. We didn't make a reservation, we were able to be seated and greeted in such a timely manner. Less than an hour, on the spot, for a group of 20+. The manager was super awesome, making us feel so comfortable and taken care of with such a large party on the spot, and the hosts were so sweet. Such a well thought out business. So close to Daytona so the racing, garage theme makes a lot of sense but they did it without being too cheesy. They paired local figures with a type of burger that is logical and brings in ties to the local community. I like to see that support. Decor was awesome, even down to the plumbing fixtures in the bathrooms and door hardware throughout. Great attention to detail. Stopped here for lunch for a bite. My second time going to show off the cool interior with all the car-themed trimmings and decorations. If you are a car aficionado you will love all there is to see. The food isn't bad, but it isn't great. The French Onion Soup was not properly melty with too much bread, but the broth wasn't too bad. My ribs were very tender but the rub wasn't overly tasty. The sauce was okay. The Mac and Cheese is seriously lacking cheese and flavor. My daughter did enjoy the smoked brisket melt sandwich, however. Service was good, although we had to ask for napkins and silverware. There is a huge beer selection you access from your phone, which is both cool and annoying at the same time. Pro Tips: Use the "Join the Wait List" link on their website. The lines are usually long. Reservations are not taken for the same day. Cons: They need to post an instruction manual in the bathroom for using the gas pump sink faucet! Actually I'd give 3.5 stars. It's clearly a tourist trap I think. I mean the sampling of old pictures around is cool and the real old Ford that hangs over the bar. Service was ok. Sadly, I had no hard seltzer options. Though there are tons of beer choices, but if you don't want that it's not helpful or you are forced to get a cocktail or mixed drink. The burger is what they are known for. One person in my party got that and said it's a decent burger so you won't be upset if you pick that. My salad was underwhelming and I didn't finish it. Another person got fish and chips and it was a big portion and he said it was good. The fries were good also. The ambience was really nice with the Ford car decorations, and the bathroom sink had a tire as the base. Our waitress name was Sherry and the service was excellent. She recommended the estate burger. I was skeptical about the onion, sweet marmalade and asked for it on the side. After receiving the burger and trying the orange marmalade which returned out to be very tasty. I added it to my burger and it certainly added great flavor. I ordered the truffle fries which were very tasty and not too greasy. Fie dessert I ordered the fried ice cream which quite good. Overall I would recommend this restaurant. read more

I went with my wife on a Tuesday around 7PM. My wife called earlier in the day to make a reservation. They don't take same day reservations but said we could call ahead 30 min before we got there. We called when we left our house to head that way and they said they weren't taking call aheads. It was a little frustrating but when we got there we checked in and waited less than 5 min. No harm no foul. The inside looks pretty cool. There are cars and car parts all over the place. I'm not a gear head but thought it was neat. I started with some drink that was on the specials menu. I'm not a run guy but it also had peanut butter whiskey. It was pretty good. My wife got a lemonade with booze that she really liked too. We started with the Firestone shrimp. My wife usually goes for the spicy fried shrimp app if they have one. This looked like it had been sitting in the window a little longer than it should have but it was still good. I had a work trip to Kansas City the week before we went and I told the server that when I asked her if the burnt ends sandwich was any good. She said it was one of her favorite things on the menu. It wasn't KC BBQ but it was pretty good. My wife ordered the burger that had peanut butter on it. It originally came out without any peanut butter. We sent it back and the plopped a glob of PB on there and sent it back out. I don't think we'll make it a point to go back but if we're hungry and in the area it's an option. read more

Absolutely amazing experience tonight! I invited 34 people to Fords for my birthday. I easily made reservations weeks in advance and was advised they would love to host our group. They called to confirm the day of. We arrived, table already together and heaters were turned on. Due to the party size we had to eat on the patio. It was perfect. The heaters were on high and you never knew it was in the 40's. I would like to send a 5 star review to Matt and Clayton. They made the entire evening PERFECT. Everyone in our party raved about their amazing experience. We mingled, had a great time and Matt and Clayton took care of everything. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday dinner. Great vibes & burgers!! We had an excellent time meeting up with family at Ford's St. Augustine location. They were able to accommodate our large party size, despite how busy the restaurant was. I would recommend calling ahead at this location as they were busy at 4pm on a weekday. While I didn't have high expectations for this chain restaurant the burgers were phenomenal! We were also visiting from out of state so we wanted to check out this place as it was fairly close to our hotel. I loved how cool the decor was. She had excellent customer service. She said her salmon was great but the Mac & cheese was dry and bland. My son loved his meal and ate all of it. My wings ? Ehh , I felt like they were way too salty for my liking. Very cool restaurant theme. It is attached to the car dealership and their old car memorabilia and antique gas pumps complete the look. The service was top notch, and the food was well cooked. The management was engaging was genuinely interested in the client's overall experience. He stopped and chatted with us, gave us a little history on their concept, which made you hopeful for their continued success and expansion, I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and it was prepared well and very tasty. This is the first time I ate at Fords Garage. The ambiance- very cool. There is a model T Ford hanging over the bar. There are engines, automotive parts used for decor ( check out the bathroom!). Very casual, cool vibe The service- friendly service, though felt a bit rushed as we sat and they were all over us regarding drinks. Bar- 150 different types of beer, several cocktails- good drinks Food- they have gourmet burgers, real interesting, big variety. They do have sandwiches as well. Sweet potato tater tots ( delish). Some burgers that was ordered: jiffy burger that had peanut butter on it. There was a black n bleu burger bleu cheese and all the topping. Mushroom burger with onion straws, and i think the Fords burger ( don't remember the name). It is topped with a fried egg. Everyone enjoyed the meal. The only issue that we had was that some of the burgers came out cold, not lukewarm.. cold! Along with cold fries. Cool theme. Everything was well executed. Good presentation and my Jiffy burger was cooked perfectly. I totally had to go for it as my first peanut butter burger. One minor complaint is that the party could've used a little seasoning as I found it to lean towards the bland side. We had another minor complaint in that the cloth napkins - shop towel to match the theme along with auto clamps and napkin rings - smelled of oil. We enjoyed our time and service was on point but we asked our waitress about the napkins. She sent the manager over right away. We had a pleasant feedback conversation with him and even learned about the business itself. Very welcoming and while we were just providing feedback, he discounted some items and also comped a dessert for the table. Completely unnecessary but surely appreciated. I recently visited Fords for the 1st time after hearing good things about them! It wasn't a great experience tbh. The staff seem to hangout behind the hostess stand while guests look for them. Our server checked on us 1 time while in motion to another table. They weren't smashed busy either. The burgers were very over cooked, dry and lacked in seasoning! Fries were greasy and cold but I was starving so I ate them. Mac and cheese was cold, very little chicken but edible enough. By the time we were checked on, we were ready to leave. So there was no point in trying to get new food. We would've told our sever early on, as we understand how challenging it can be and it wasn't her fault, but unfortunately we didn't get that opportunity. We got an onion ring as our appetizer and it was good. My go to order at a burger place is mushroom Swiss. It was on the dry side and I wish they put some kind of aioli. It came with pretzel bun and it was already dry and hard to begin with. The burger patty was Ok. There was red onion and lettuce and the mushroom and chess. I substitute my fries with jalapeño cream corn instead. That one was good. Took a few fries from my husband and their fries was seasoned well and it was crispy. My husband got the Estate Burger. If you're a car buff, especially Ford or love burgers, or really appreciate a great selection of craft brews than this is the place for you. It's a little challenging to find even though there's a huge sign right on I-95 in St. Augustine but it's worth taking the time to find it. It's located right between the Ford dealer and the Lincoln dealer in St Augustine. All of the automotive memorabilia is awesome, right down to the door handles being old handles from gas pumps, down to the several actual Model T's that they have. If you're a guy you HAVE to check out the mens room, I'll leave it at that. Our waitress did a nice job, there were 9 of us for lunch and it;s not always easy handling that large of a table but she did a nice job with it. They have a bunch of different burgers to choose from, as well as many other tasty items on the menu, but they're known for their burgers and they are good. I'll definitely be back! read more
