We got Pretzels as an appetizer. They were perfect! Outside toasted and soft on the inside, just how we like it. For dinner we had the blackened salmon and chicken henry, the seasoning was great and good portion size. The buttery lemon sauce they both sat on was so good we both agreed. The sides we had were green beans, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. They were all so tasty. When we left they opened the door for us and that just put a cherry on top. The aesthetic from the old timey cars in the parking lot to the puns inside the menu to the tire sinks in the bathroom. A lot of thought went into the vibe, and I dig it. We ordered 2 orders of pretzels, which was 4 total pretzels which seemed like a low serving size, but they were crunchy with fine dipping sauces. I had the ribs which were okay, but nothing amazing. I liked that they had some range of side options and the broccoli was a healthy choice and paired well with it. The sirloin was pretty average as well, but the chips were thick and crunchy and seemed made in restaurant. The people who got burgers were pretty happy, so that seems like the thing to get, and there are a ton of good options. Service was great and very attentive, and our food didn't take too long to get. I recently stopped by Ford's garage, and let me tell you, the food was a huge letdown! On top of that, the shop rags used for napkins had such a nasty smell and a felt greasy to touch that I asked for paper napkins. To make matters worse, the flatware looked like it had been used for a car engine rebuild, definitely not what I was expecting. I thought I was at a garage, not a restaurant with those dirty utensils and smelly napkin shop rags. If you're looking for a good meal, my advice is to hit the drive-thru instead of this place! read more

Food here could be a lot better. I was so disappointed in the food. The buffalo wings were not spicy at all. Very plain. The nachos came with "artificial" cheese like from a can and the bbq sauce on it was really bad. My sirloin steak was medium well even though I asked for medium rare. Stopped in for dinner while in Westchase/Citrus Park. Had been to several of these restaurants before. The food and service were very good. I have found this chain is consistently very good. We had the 1/2 lb bbq burger. I had potato tots and my wife had fries. I ordered a beer on tap. The burger platter is for big appetites. My wife could not finish hers, and I just finished mine. Walking in the door , my eyes just went from one visual delight to another. The decor is so well done right down to the bathroom sinks and fixtures. The bartender was so welcoming and helpful. Got the lunch special chopped chicken salad. It was very tasty. Could have used some really crunchy little croutons for texture. The peanut dressing was my fave. Got the lime vinaigrette as well, some chili in it would have made it perfect. If you sit at the bar they actually have a cooling plate running around the bar to help keep your drink cool! Stopped in Ford's Garage with hubby for some burgers. It's been unusually COLD these past few days in Florida and it seems this restaurant didn't turn the heat on! It's absolutely freezing in here! I have never been here before so I'm not sure if it's always kept this uncomfortably cold! My husband and I will be eating our burgers with our jackets on. Extremely disappointing! The restaurant is huge, spacious and car themed. The decor is very cool. The bathroom sinks are very interesting and car themed as well. When we arrived the hostess asked us if we wanted a booth or a table. We replied we'd like a booth. She brought us to a booth that probably could seat 8 people! I looked around and realized all the booths are for large groups. I would've appreciated if she told us the booths are for large groups and not sat us in this ridiculously large booth! For dinner I ordered the Ford's Signature Burger and crispy fries. The burger was delicious as were the fries!! Everything was cooked perfectly, just as ordered. Had a great date night out here with my boyfriend and sweet furbaby Muffin. It's been on my radar for some time because I've been to a Ford's Garage some years ago (and LOVED it) and this is near where I live. The atmosphere was lively, and we were enthusiastically greeted right away by the hostess and whisked off to our outside table, which was blessedly kept pretty cool by outdoor fans and ample awning (it was a pretty hot, rainy, muggy day outside). It was perfect for Muffin, and my boyfriend was pretty happy as well and he works outside. Although Ford's Garage is known for their burgers, I was in the mood for something different. Many times I'd order a couple of apps and call that a meal, and that was EXACTLY what I did tonight. First, I went with the Firestone Shrimp. Lightly tempura with a creamy spicy sauce, it's a perfect sweet n heat treat, that's in my opinion, slightly a step above the usual firecracker shrimp with the addition of scallions and greens. It was so good I ordered TWO servings of it because although I had every intention to share, I ended up changing my mind and got my boyfriend his very own. The truffle fries were golden, hot, and crisp, and I could definitely taste the truffle flavoring all throughout, and they didn't need any sauce whatsoever. I'm a sucker for corn, especially jalenpeno creamed corn, and this was light and delcious enough that it reminded me Mexican corn I can get at a taqueria. Okay, so normally I don't have much to say about side salad, but theirs is quite impressive with all the fresh ingredients they put in there that's light, but a good enough size to satisfy you. Certainly, the love is in the finer details. We washed everything down with their guava fizz drinks. I give them A LOT of props for making these NON-ALOHOLIC drinks since I actually don't drink and my boyfriend is cutting back, so I greatly appreciate that they have non-alcoholic options outside of water, tea, and gross soda. Overall, great place with great vibes! The price was reasonable, and I'll definitely keep them in mind for a nice casual night out again very soon. read more

This restaurant is a perfect, casual place to get lunch or dinner with small and large parties alike. They have a very large indoor area, and everything is car themed. They even have a Ford above the bar that will make noises every 30 minutes or so. I really want to take my dad here in the future because I'm sure he will love it! My sister got the chicken sandwich, and I got the shrimp berry salad. The shrimp had some blackened seasoning on them, which I enjoyed. We both devoured our plates. I really wish they had more ciders on tap. It seemed like they catered more towards the men that visit their restaurant than the women. So, I didn't get a drink at all.
