All I can say is Wow, my 1998 M3/4/5 drives better than it did when it was brand new. This is my 3rd BMW I brought to Foreign Tech, and they never disappoint. Antonello sat with me and asked me how I wanted the car to drive/handle, and then he went over the parts/modifications needed to make this happen. He is incredibly detailed oriented and knows his stuff. I didn't originally listen to some of Antonello's suggestions and bought my own parts. Turns out they were meant for the track, which is the exact opposite of what I told him I wanted. He told me that they would be too rough but I insisted he put them in - what a mistake. The flashy green engine and transmission mounts I forced him to install were extremely rigid and made the car not enjoyable to drive. I should have listened to Antonello's original recommendations from the start. He showed me some new options and went over how they were different from what I purchased. He then bought and installed them and now the car drives amazing! I never expected it to drive this smooth and handle so well. The car has 148k miles on it, and you would never know from how it drives! Antonello is always really hands on, which I appreciate. He listened to what I wanted and made recommendations, even if I didn't listen. He waited for my approval on all work. The car went from a sad state to a rejuvenated classic e36 m3. Even with COVID impacting all shipping/manufacturing companies, he was able to deliver the car in a timely manner. When I brought my BMW to have work done at Foreign Tech about 5 years ago, I realized that I had made a poor investment in a vehicle, but in the end that didn't matter as much to me because I not only had found a true master mechanic with impeccable skills and knowledge but even more importantly a really wonderful person and now a great friend. I brought my 2009 BMW 335i here for major work. Upgraded turbos, intakes, inlets, outlets, exhaust and a tune. Antonello is a one of the greatest and most knowledgeable car gurus out there. I told him what I wanted done and he helped guide me and point me in the right direction with the necessary preventative maintenance I would need in order for my car to handle all the new power. I refuse to take any of my vehicles anywhere else after my experience. He suggested walnut blasting and replacing the motor mounts and the car runs like a clock! He's no longer just my mechanic he's become a friend and any time I have any questions about my cars he takes the time to talk to me and help trouble shoot even when I'm not able to make it to his shop that day. I was looking to purchase a second vehicle to use as a daily work commuter car. I was looking to avoid putting excessive miles on my weekend/track car. Antonello was able to set aside an entire day out of his schedule to come with me to look at a used Volvo SUV I was interested in buying. I was hesitant because the Volvo is close to 10 years old, and I did not want to get into something that was going to require a lot of maintenance down the road. He was able to not only test drive the Volvo with me, but also brought his scanner along and scanned the car for codes as well. On his advice I purchased the Volvo and have been completely confident in the vehicle as well as only having to spend money on changing the brakes which was also done with ease at Foreign Tech. I have brought multiple BMW's in for everything from an oil change to customization. I recently brought my Mercedes in for a tune-up and it drives better than ever. I don't normally feel the need to leave reviews but my experience with Foreign Tech and specifically Antonello was amazing. He agreed to check out my 2011 BMW 335xi and figure out whether it made sense to invest in it. Several days later he provided a diagnosis of what appeared to be wrong (transmission issues) and then recommended the best place in the metro area to dig deeper, indicating he could do it but why not get it done by a specialist on BMW transmissions. His fee? Zero. And the place he recommended has been excellent so far. This is the type of honest and caring auto tech that anyone could ask for. read more

By far the best car service I have received in a very long time. I have a 2002 Jaguar who has been through the ringer and 3 different mechanics. They simply couldn't get the job done. Once I took it to foreign tech they were able to trace the issues to the root of the problem and even fix damage that was cause by the previous mechanics. My car is running smoothly and perfect now. Used Foreign Tech for a PPI on a Z3. Worked with Antonello remotely as they are in Ossining NY and I am in Northern VA. He did an outstanding job working with me and the seller to get the car in quickly, within 1 day. Great communications with a detailed PPI report and over 50 pictures the next day! We then spoke on the phone and went over the report and pictures in detail along with his recommendation and overall assessment of the car and its condition. Nothing but praise for Antonello and his crew, we got into a sticky situation with my BMW, a noisy motor that could lead to a failed tensioner and timing system. We went over the scenarios and costs, ended up saving the car and did the entire timing system. I was greeted with picture along the process, they seem to be very detailed oriented, which is a plus. I was having boost leaks and drivetrain malfunction errors, we went to the dealer and they gave me a sizable quote for new turbos and valve cover. I decided to get a second and third opinion, Antenello figured the out with a smoke air test and computer readout I didn't need new turbos, a crack in a pipe was causing all of the issues, we upgraded some stuff and changed oil and the car runs like new.. The car was progressively getting worse and worse over the years, it was making a rattle sound and displaying a check engine. Found them with a local a search. Brought my porsche 997 in because I was having a strange electrical issue and my other mechanic could not get It to pass inspection because of it.
