The thing that impressed me the most is that while housing and caring for many, many cats you could not detect any odor from litter boxes! I have 4 indoor cats and have trouble keeping odors under control. After I moved to PA I decided I missed having cats (at the time I had none) and wanted a Scottish Fold so odors course she was my 1st choice. And my Sushi is wonderful! I got all of her medical records and shot records. My vet in PA was impressed with what I was given. As a former dog breeder I was also impressed both with all she did for Sushi prior to getting her and the contract she had me sign. I highly recommend her and I still consult with her via email if I have a question about something my vet has recommended. She is always very gracious and helps me out with info. Barbara Schwab

Our little dog Ollie has been a patient of Dr. Peggy's veterinary office for the past 4 years…read more Ollie gets the greatest of care, and my husband and I are always reassured that they understand how important he is to us. This past winter Ollie could barely walk. We thought for sure he would need a surgery, bills would be outrageous.. we tried everything before we even went to get help. Dr. Peggy immediately knew what to do. It wasn't hundreds of dollars on X-rays, just to see... she uses herbs coupled with medicines and tries what she is pretty sure will work, before she makes your pet uncomfortable and your wallet empty. Ollie also received some acupuncture on his neck, back, and legs that also helped so much. Ollie is doing great thanks to the great care from all of the staff at Sierra Animal Wellness. Their office is a diamond in the rough in Colfax. If you live close enough to their office, you would be lucky to have Dr. Peggy and her staff care for pets.

If you own a farm, you know it's basically a high-stakes circus where the performers (the animals)…read moreare constantly trying to find new ways to worry you. Dr Mikhaela is the only reason my circus is still running! She is the definition of professional--competent, incredibly thorough, and remarkably responsive when things go sideways. We have presented her with some truly "unique" and bizarre animal emergencies, and she handles every strange circumstance with total grace (and zero judgment). It is rare to find someone who is as brilliant as she is kind, and she takes wonderful care of every creature on my property. My animals are healthy and I am much calmer knowing she's only a call away. If you want the best for your four-legged family, look no further!

She proceed coming out and doing a very brief physical exam 2 to 4 minutes at 50 bucks . Then proceeded to say the area of injury she had concerns about it being in the joint . Then said she does not irrigate or flush in the field and proceed to do a coding scrub for a few minutes that cost a additional 60 bucks then suggesting going to a vet that had a clinic who who could do proper testing and flushing. I appreciate the input to go somewhere else but feel that if the vet does not treat in the field that should be conveyed up front so the clie t doesn't waste money ect. Seemed like a very nice person but I would not recommend for a horse vet.
