These guys ROCK! They have always taken care of our loved ones over the many years with several dogs! From way back when they opened up till now 2020 (last week - March). I have always trusted them to do the right thing and give the correct service and advise. Karen and crew continue to keep our guys in good health and always give us options including keeping the cost down to help our budget. As we all know, our four legged members in our families are a big part of life and provide us all with companionship and security every day! Thanks guys at Companion Veterinary for all you do and have done. My guys love you! Stay safe and healthy please.

They are courtious, caring, knowledgeable and reliable. I appreciate that we have never been encouraged to complete more than the bare necessities of care. Rather than encourage costly procedures, they have always been quick to prescribe simple interventions for our problem prone dog. (These low cost solutions that have always worked for that matter). My wife and I enjoy the staff, finding them friendly and able to accommodate our questions... Which I admit are likely hard to answer as both of us are medical professionals and we tend to appreciate details more specific than would be expected. We started taking our dog to SAV on the recommendation of a friend who also takes their multiple animals there. I'd like to pass on that recommendation to anyone seeking an exceptional family of veterinarians and staff. Thanks for taking great care of our pet SAV!

Doctor was great discussed how she healed from her getting neutered 2 months ago. Said she did good, and requested medication for her to travel which he prescribed. Doctor left and she took my dog in back and I waited for 30 min. Asking reception where is my dog she only getting two shots. Jenna finally came in and said it takes 10 min for a heart worm test. I told her I didn't request a test! She informed me she needed one to get the shot. I told her that's not what the doctor said. She had all her lab work done previously when she got neutered. She said that was 2025 last year. I said could you please go back and read her chart you got the wrong dog! She was here two months ago. To make it short we were there for hour and 15 min. I refused to pay for the test that I did not request she wouldn't give her the heart worm shot. Secondly manager asked why I requested for Jenna not to be seen in the future with my dog. Told her the story and she said it's just a miscommunication and told the receptionist to make sure they charge me for a physical exam. Which they added the heart worm exam with it. That cost $82 for the exam n I usually pay only $45 totally ripped off and manager didn't help at all!!

I scheduled a hospice consult for my sweet 13 year old lab and received a quick response with a call from Jennifer. Even though I never met Jennifer, I felt like she was holding my hand during the whole process. When it was time for our hospice consult, Dr. Chandler came to our house and assessed our boy along with going over quality of life. She even gave him a treatment before she left to see if it would help his mobility. After the consult, I received a very thorough email from Dr. Chandler giving me a breakdown of my dog's prognosis along with some treatment options. She reached out to other mobile vets on my behalf and provided helpful links for every option of care that she gave me. Jennifer also followed up to check on Oakley to see how he was doing. When it was time to make the decision for me to let him go, I texted Dr. Chandler (after hours on her day off). She still responded. She came out a couple days later to our home and we were able to give him a peaceful goodbye on our lawn, which was his favorite place. Dr. Chandler treated Oakley with such care and dignity from start to finish. Jennifer also called me again to check on my wellbeing a week after we said goodbye. Dr. Chandler reached out to me on a Saturday to let me know she had Oakley. He was ready to return home. She worked with us on getting him back and even went as far as matching the tissue paper to the color of his fur for the packaging. She also included a beautiful dog card along with his name which was handwritten. It lays against the paw print and clipping of his hair she gave us. I hope I provided enough details as to why Love Always is not only the best, but the only option I would ever use when having someone take care of my beloved companions.

She gave us the option to leave her with us, take her/cremate and return, or cremate and have her hang with other amazing pets. I almost never write negative reviews. If you look at my history on Yelp or Google you will see…read morethat when I leave a review it is almost always positive. I am not someone who tries to attack a business online. The only reason I am writing this is because I feel I was genuinely disrespected and wronged, when I simply just wanted some accountability and integrity in return for their miscommunication and failure to produce lab results when they said they would. It is concerning to take a loved one in to find out what might be wrong, trust the clinic to handle it, and then be left hanging for days wondering if something serious is happening and whether they need immediate attention. On November 13 I brought my dog, Buck, to North Fork Vet for a checkup (vomiting in-digested food and red itchy paws) and paid over three hundred dollars for full bloodwork. I was told the results would be ready that night or the next day. No one called. Wanting to be patient and give them time, I didn't call back right away. It wasn't until Tuesday, November 18, that I finally reached out since it had been several days with no updates. I was told a veterinarian would call me soon. No one called. On November 24 I called again and was transferred to Ben, the manager. Instead of solutions he gave me excuses. He said the doctor had personal matters (this is 11 days after the fact) which I completely understand, but that doesn't help me get any closer to answers. I had paid for important tests and still had zero information about my dog's health. This morning, after an already frustrating conversation, Ben called me back. He did not have results. He called only to tell me that the owner of the clinic "tried to call me and left a voicemail." That is where everything fell apart. My voicemail has been full for over two months. I got ahold of AT&T and into my account and opened the call history and there were no incoming calls from the vet on Nov 18th. I didn't have any incoming calls that day only 3 outgoing calls, 1 of them was to NorthFork Vet at 9:23 am (the call that I made to them to try and get an update on the labs). Here's the thing, The clinic has my email on file. If they truly reached a full mailbox, they could have easily emailed results. My phone number has been the same for thirty years, so the claim that a message was left is not true unless they were calling the wrong number. I was frustrated, and I am honest about that. I never yelled, but I was emotional after paying for tests, getting no results, being told different stories each time, and then being blamed for ignoring a voicemail that literally could not have been left. When I tried to express this, Ben said, "I don't know what's wrong with you." That comment to a worried pet owner was unacceptable. He then told me that he would no longer be working with me or my dog. Honestly, once trust is broken I understand that. He said my money would be refunded, which I appreciate. It was truly never about the money, I just wanted to know that Buck didn't have any major complications. What shocked me was that he also said the veterinarian would not be calling me at all anymore and that my dog's lab results would be emailed with no explanation from any doctor. I did finally receive the labs today from North Fork Vet, but now I have to go to a different vet and pay more just to have a professional walk me through the findings. North Fork may have been in business since 1984 and may have a good reputation, but none of that changes what happened to me. I paid for lab work and never received a single call from a veterinarian. I was given conflicting explanations, told things that were not true, blamed for a voicemail that cannot exist, and eventually dismissed entirely. I am writing this so other pet owners know what can happen. No one caring for a pet should feel ignored, blamed or disrespected like this. I wish the clinic the best, but I am extremely disappointed in how I was treated and how this situation was handled. To leave on a positive note, thank you so much for taking care of Buck for the first couple of years. We really had nothing but positive outcomes until recently. We wish things had ended up differently. Dog bless.

Maggie Laney introduced me to Dr. Pam and the Meadow Vista Veterinary Clinic. Now my story goes like this. Our puppy had a lower canine tooth that was turned inward and hitting the roof of his mouth. The first vet saw it and said that might be a problem. The second vet said it was an immediate problem and had to come out right away and was referring me to a specialist. As I was standing in her office, my phone rings and it is the specialist telling me they had a spot open to see Edson at 7:05 am the next day. I went to see them and I should have asked how much the consultation would be. The "specialist" said it was a problem and needed to come out right away. She spent less than 15 minutes with us and then her assistant came in with an estimate sheet that was between $700 to $900....something didn't feel right. I went to the desk to check out and was hit with a bill of $125.00. Now I know something wasn't right. I called my wife and said I think we should get a second opinion. I reached out to another vet to tell them I needed a second opinion. They fit us in and spent the better part of an hour going over a diagram and plastic model of a dogs jaw and teeth. He explained in detail the pros and cons and the risks involved. He he said it was a doozy and that it needed to come out...His estimate was $350. His office visit fee...$35...Only problem was he was booked out for another week and a half. Meadow Vista had us scheduled in for the extraction a few days later and I decided to trust Maggie's judgement. After all, Maggie does know what she is doing regarding dogs and their health care....if she trusted Dr. Pam, that was good enough for me.
