I shopped at Forever21 in many locations, but I come to this location more often than others since it's closer to my house. The customer service has gone down hill. Every time I was in the check out line, it always take 10 minutes or more to get check out. The worst was 25 minutes in line. There always only 1 cashier working and 4 other associates were on the sales floor. If the line has more than 4 customers waiting, one of them should help out IMO. Also, the store always is a mess, it's really hard to shop. I recently decided to shop online is much better experience than in store. read more

This store seems like it's working on its issues... 1. Dressing room fixed from damage (but long over due). 2. Prices are good usually on most items (shoe quality a bit over priced for poor quality but I look for "good deals") 3. I have seen second hand stores in better shape - cloths and shoes need to be better organized ... And more is not better. Over crowded and messy - have a few speciality "new" items and traditional (tank tops and tees) no children's (they are just confusing and not needed. 4. Escalator still broken from February / January (?) seems like this would be fixed. 5. Personal preference - music to loud and not good for shopping ... Going into stores that feel like "night-clubs" you can't talk to the person your shopping with and the employees think they are off work and ready to party. Not good for customer service. 6. Horrible customer service. Even if you just purchased your item yesterday, if you misplace the receipt, there are zero options for you but to keep your item. No return and no exchanges. They can not locate your item using your credit card either. They do not let you try on items due to the pandemic and yet, you are expected not to loose your receipt at any cost. Large selection but a super disorganized store! I try to avoid this location of Forever 21 because everything looks a little messy and the fitting rooms on the second floor haven't ever been open when I've been up there, so you have to bring everything down and wait in line for the only fitting rooms that are open downstairs on the first floor. That being said the people who work here are really helpful - I asked one associate for help looking for an item and she was all over the store upstairs and downstairs multiple times trying to help me out. Sadly the products in store are not always available online and if the item you want in your size isn't out on the floor they do not have it. Our first experience at Forever 21 was disappointing. At 6:21 the fitting rooms were closed. My teen daughter who is in between sizes needed to try on three items before the store was closed at 7 was told the manager was closed rooms earlier to fold and put away. My husband asked for the manager to confirm this way true and to ask if she could quickly try on jeans. The young woman said she was the manager, when we introduced ourselves she said no one in the store could tell customers their name. The young woman in the fitting room also said she was the manager. Let me just start off with saying that I am an avid and long time forever 21 shopper and lover!, who doesn't like a good deal? Am I right? Anyhow, if I could use only one word to describe this location it would be Sad...oh so SAD! 1. First off it's filthy! Who wants to shop with dust bunnies all around? Instead of enjoying my shopping experience I felt compelled to pick up a broom and start sweeping. 2. Other than at the registers, the employees are nowhere to be found (it's like a ghost town in there.) Except for this one girl who was sitting on the back counter of some closed down registers, talking on the phone with her friend and loudly laughing about some drama between "so and so." She was on the phone the entire 20-30 minutes that I was shopping upstairs. Now I personally didn't mind, I just found it odd that a company as big as Forever 21 has such little control over the professionalism or lack there of when it comes to their employees and their conduct. 3. M-E-S-S-Y! The whole place is kind of trashed, nothing is organized! Lots of clothing on the floor, in the wrong sections or crammed so tightly together that you can barely pull an item out without knocking a few others to the floor. Don't get me started on the clearance section, or the random racks of overstock just left out. Oy vey! 4. Could or could not be true but I feel like the clothing selection kind of sucks in general at this location. This location is honestly just a bit depressing. It feels like where the rejects of all other forever 21's go to die. Also, as though corporate forgot that this location exists and skimps on the graphics/cleaning crews/real management. But being that it's the only location near me, and seeing as they do have "some" cute clothes and their usual good prices...I suppose I will unfortunately continue to shop there. This is about the Forever 21 Accessory store in Alderwood Mall. I shop here frequently, it's a great place to get cheap accessories and I always spend lots of money here until very recently. I walked in the store on a very cold afternoon looking for some accessories to go with a new dress I had bought for a special occasion. Usually someone greets me when I walk in but this time all the girls were in the back gossiping about god-knows-what. Slightly annoyed I moved through the store looking at all their cute accessories and picked out a pair of sunglasses, a ring, and a necklace. I walked up to the register while two girls stood talking, one of them looked at me as she was talking to her co-worker. I gave her my stuff hoping she'd ask "did you find everything you needed today?" but she kept talking to her co-worker as she started my transaction. SHE DID NOT SAY ONE SINGLE THING TO ME EXCEPT HOW MUCH I NEEDED TO PAY. She took my card, slid it across the counter, carelessly wrapped my stuff and shoved my receipt in the bag. I furiously walked out the store. I decided that because I've worked in retail so long, I should go back in there and say something, my ass would have been toast if I did anything like that to any of my customers. I marched back in and found a girl standing near the front, she asked "Is everything okay?" and I asked who her manager was, here's the kicker: THAT WAS THE MANAGER THAT HELPED ME. Since then, I've refused to shop in this store. Get a grip ladies, just because your accessories are cheap doesn't mean you have to act that way too. Good luck with business. read more

Yes, it's a chain store with cheap-quality clothes, and it's incredibly tiny compared to the Northgate location, but I was quite impressed with the customer service today. I found a few cute dresses online, but wanted to try them on in a store first. I wrote down the product code number, and made my way to this location, since I was in the area. At first, I asked a girl rearranging some clothes near the front of the store. She simply said "I don't know what you're describing, but you can look for it." Uh, okay...I walked away and checked a few racks which looked like the dresses, but I didn't see any of them. Then, I asked another girl to see if I'd get the same kind of response or not. Nope! She brought me over to the register while she typed in the product codes into her computer, and found a few of the dresses. When one of them was the wrong size, she checked the back, then called Northgate to see if they had them in my size. Nice! But that's not all, folks. Turns out most of the dresses I was looking for was at the Northgate location, and asked her co-workers to double check the back and the racks to make sure it wasn't yet out on the floor for sale, or if it got misplaced. Unfortunately, since the store is smaller than Northgate's, they didn't have it, so she called them once again, took my name and held those dresses for me. How sweet is that? Turns out she was a co-manager. But who cares, she went above and beyond what I expected her to do. She apologized when they didn't carry what I wanted, checked the back and the racks numerous times, and called Northgate twice to make sure they had it and that they could hold the items for me. I seriously expected another "Oh, sorry. I don't know." Yeah, this review was mostly about the customer service (on October 7, 2011) but the store's not too bad. They do carry some cute clothes, jewelry, shoes, and the like. Oh, and just for the heads up, check every worker's tag until you see the words "co-manager" or "manager" before you ask anything. Ok, ok, I admit it... my friends and I are Forever 21 whores. We prefer to call it lovingly, "Forever 31," however, since we're definitely not like the bulk of their customers who are Lynwood High School anorexic teeny boppers. It's true, Forever 21's clothing is crappy and cheaply made. Don't be suprised if your new shirt only lasts through 3 washing machine runs. BUT, at the same time, I do have some shirts from there that I've had for 5+ years. You just have to be aware of what you buy. Note to all those fellow F21 lovers out there - don't EVER work for F21. I did for 2 weeks (when I was between jobs). After the first week, I gave my notice of quitting. Talk about DRAMA in the lunchroom - it's nothing but a bunch of young 90210 drama queens that work there, and while I do love me some reality tv, it's also a high-stress environment and that's not a good combo. The Alderwood mall location is the highest selling store in that mall. But they have the CUTEST styles and the prices are SOOO good on most items, so if you're looking for a cute cocktail dress, hoodie or dressy shirt to wear out clubbing, THIS is the place to get it. Just know that you do get what you paid for ;) Oh F21, how I love and hate you..... you're one of the best drugs I know of! I LOVE good deals on cute cocktail dresses and shirts, and forever 21 is more of a thrift store with new items than a high quality clothing store, which is all good with me. However, if you're the kind of person who likes the Gap where everything is organized by color and cut on different shelves and stuff, and hate digging through racks at thrift stores to find that gem, then you'll be miserable and frustrated looking through the racks at F21. read more

Where else can you run into the mall pick up a handful of earrings, scarves, bangles, sandals, purses, bags, and a ton of other gooooodies for CHEAP? The good thing about this place is that it is not a visual overload or as overwheming as its partner, forever 21. Its just as cheap though! Most of their earrings are $3.80, and if you wander to the back of the store in their clearance section, you can find some baragains for a whoppping .99 cents. I'll admit it, I'm way past 21, and still shop at Forever21. True, the majority of the clothes in this place are for people with either young, skinny bodies and/or a LOT of self-confidence, but I often find awesome stuff here. The buyers at Forever21 do a good job of keeping up with trends--I'll notice the same colors & patterns I see in current magazines, and it's cool being able to buy into those trends for just a few bucks. It's true, their clothes aren't meant to last forever, but I have clothes from Forever21 that have lasted 5+ years, which seems a worthwhile investment considering the average price of clothing at this place is, what, $10? It's no wonder budget-conscious babes like this place--you can literally get a cute dress, some shades, a scarf, and some jewelry for a grand total of about $40. And, I can honestly say, the cheap-o jewelry and accessories I buy at Forever21 always get compliments. The staff at the Lynnwood location seem interchangeable with the staff at the Northgate mall or the downtown Seattle store--young-ish, semi-friendly, and they don't have a clue about where anything is. Fine by me--I prefer not to have staffers constantly harassing me, nor do I require witty repartee in order to complete a transaction. forever 21 is definitely one of my go-to stores but I have to say the more and more it tries to take on these new "trends" the less and less the clothes actually cover your body. I like this store for all its basics and jewelry just because its so inexpensive! but the dresses couldn't be any more skanky and a lot of their "stylish" shirts are not flattering at all. Have you ever had a buttered popcorn jelly bean from Jelly Belly? IMHO, buttered popcorn jelly beans are so bad that they're good. Really good. I hate myself for loving them good. ForLove 21 is the buttered popcorn jelly bean of the mall. An offshoot of Forever21, ForLove 21 sells accessories on the CHEAP. I spent $30 there and came out with about 5 pairs of earrings, a necklace, and a headband. Like most girly stores, ForLove 21 is brightly lit and well organized. Everything is super trendy--kinda tacky--and very bright. Its like a plastic candy store. This is THE place to go if you are looking for something quick and easy to finish off an outfit. You're not going to find classic, well made pieces that stand the test of time. Instead, you'll get super inexpensive, super fun jewels to add to your collection. This place is so much fun, but I fear that it could get a bit addictive. Plus its right next to Sephora, so why not visit? read more

This is the best of the Forever 21 locations in the area. It's as large as the store in Southcenter, but much cleaner and better organized; the selection is much better than at the small store in Bellevue square. The staff are pretty good, and keep the line moving. My teenager always finds clothes here, at the usual low price points. Wow, some people really like to write harsh reviews. My review is strictly about the men's selection. They relocated outside the mall last year, where the old Borders used to be. I personally really like the location, since I don't actually have to go into the mall. The store is 2 floors, and very spacious. They added a men's section to go along with the relocation. Thank goodness! Unfortunately, the majority of the clothing in the store is for women. Still, they have a pretty impressive men's selection. I recently went to the mall last weekend to shop for some fall and winter clothing. I was initially going to buy clothes from the H&M they just opened up last month, and was a bit disappointed with their selection (the downtown location is much better). I checked out Forever 21, and was glad I did. I picked up some very fashionable v neck shirts and button downs, and it hardly even put a dent in my wallet. If you're a budget shopper, then this is the place to go. Everything here is dirt cheap! Most shirts and sweaters range from $10-30 on average. They had some very nice looking jackets for just $40. I wish they had a better jean selection, though. Sure the material may not be the best, but some of the clothes I bought from Forever 21 a few years back are still just fine. The customer service is non-existent, but that doesn't really bother me since I tend to be an independent shopper. I wish I had the money, 'cause there's a ton of stuff that I still want to buy! There were plenty of bargains and items on sale when I went. I can't say much about the women's selection, although...there's two freakin' floors of it! Went with a friend to get some warmer clothes for her for the season. 1. Disorganized. Nothing makes sense as to the layout and it is impossible to find anything in a larger size. 2. The girl in the fitting room, Cabrina, was the rudest person I have ever encountered in a Forever 21. She looked bothered that my friend had more than 6 things to try on (meaning she had to actually WORK rather than texting on her phone or chit chatting with her coworkers), and it seemed like we were a huge inconvenience to her. For the record, because of her attitude and overall disdain, my friend and I ended up doing most of her work and hanging the clothes on the rack ourselves. 3. The fitting room had a smell like old socks and wet dog. Very gross, very unpleasant. 4. The fitting room was also crowded with very overly full racks of clothes. (And if you try to look at them, don't worry - Cabrina will lecture you on making sure you put the item back in the exact same spot!) Overall, my friend got some ok things, but you get what you pay for. We will not be returning. read more

Like a kid in a candy store my hands we quickly filled with inexpensive earrings, necklaces, and hair accessories. But then there is the whole mall experience, and the fact the club girls behind the counter spend more time chatting than ringing up the extremely long line of customers. It's a big store that has A LOT of deals. If you can find them. Value village is more organized than this place. If you find a cute top you better hope it's in your size cause it's probably the only one you'll ever find because it's just hung up in the most random places. I can't tell who actually works there either. To the workers I did notice, really looked like they didn't want to be there. I spent 10 minutes just fighting to untangle a dress off a rack I really wanted but in the end gave up. I've only ever seen one dressing room be open and I've been coming here for like 3 years. If you don't give a crap where you re-hang clothes the least you can is open up another dressing room during the weekend! This is my favorite Forever 21 location. Since they moved to the new location outside a few years ago, i find the store to be much more organized. The store is merchandised well into little shops based on the style of clothing. Every time I visit this store, i know the general area i like and always find something cute. This location is 10x more organized and clean compared to the Bellevue Square location. That place makes me want to pull my hair out. Of course you cant expect the highest quality from Forever 21, but i have never had an issue with something breaking or ripping. You just have to find the better quality fabrics and you'll be fine. This is the only store I like going to in the mall, besides forever 21. You can get a bag full of accessories for around $30. Everything is cheap, and they surprisingly have a lot of cute stuff that isn't all for kids in junior high. I never shop at claires or icing ever. The jewelry tarnishes after awhile, but by that time you can go back and re-accessorize yourself. read more

The service is definitely not used-car-salesmen-like whatsoever, but they're very helpful when you need it - or when they're not having bad days. This store is so dirty and clustered! Came in with gift receipt and of course they still screw u and say they can't give cash back, store credit only. Broken escalator going down so u have to take an elevator which inspection ticket expired 4/2018!!! Elevator was full of dust bunnies and dirt. Spilled Diet Coke dried to ground on 2nd floor.
