The worst customer service in the world, management is no help either. I bought my grandma a coat on Saturday the 22nd of December for Christmas. My grandmother loved it but the person who helped us never took the alarm tag on the coat.. how? You do this everyday, how do you just forget??? Anyways I ask my grandmother to take it in so they can remove the tag, but they gave her a hard time asking her the receipt, ofcourse she does not have it. I was a Christmas present!! She asked if they can check my forever 21 card that the payment should be post it and the manager said no, that will take for ever he said ok I'll do it the one time but next time have your receipt with you... No how about you tell your employees to do their jobs right, and you get more customer service, so next time this happens you know how to treat people....FYI I will cancel my forever 21 card.. and will no longer shop there.. made the worst Christmas ever. read more

This location is very well organized and everything is folded neatly compared to a lot of other locations. I came in for a bra and couldn't find the section downstairs so I asked an employee and he kindly pointed me in the right direction. After spending a couple minutes looking for my size, I finally found two bras that I liked. The upstairs fitting room was closed so I had to take the escalator back downstairs. When I arrived, the girl employee told me that unfortunately bras were not allowed to be tried on. It was quite disappointing. Had I known I wouldn't have wasted my time. read more

I'm not surprised theres more negative reviews than postive reviews. Forever 21's clothing is made from asia (specifically china) and the quality is what you pay for. i've purchased a hoodie and a thin top i guess and it was okay. it hasnt yet to tear or become unwearable. some of they're prices are NOT THAT CHEAP. don't let them trick you oh buy 1 get one free or somthing like that. it was okay, didnt get greeted but since i hate getting greeted by what workers that are teenagers its cool. read more

This is an updated to a prior review. The store has somewhat cleaned up its act with their employees. They're a bit friendlier, but far from helpful. They don't find stuff for you like some of the other Forever 21s. The selection here is fairly good, it's large, two stories, and they keep older stuff longer. Checkout is also faster. Again, I see a small improvement in the friendliness of the employees, there is still more to go. read more

I asked 2 girls in the store if they price matched their prices from the online website and got 2 different answers. Cashiers are rude. Employees don't look like they work in a clothing company because they don't dress well, some will make you think "are you seriously wearing that". I'd rather shop in Arcadia mall since the clothing selections are more, and the employees are a lot nicer. came here again today (not sure why I keep coming back after I discovered Fashion Q in MP) specifically to buy two things: 1) these "new' skinny jeans I got an email about and 2) brown leggings. After walking around the huge store and not seeing either of those items, I asked someone who worked there. She said that those "new" jeans I just got an email about, were sold out! And as for the brown leggings, they sent me to the "basics" section where they said they would be, but nope...not there, and they didn't have them! So...I didn't get the two things I went there to get, so I decided to just buy them online - WORST shopping experience ever!!! Every time I clicked on a button, it led me to an error page! WTF??!!! This Forever 21 has really bad customer service. The workers always stand around the dressing rooms gossiping about their personal lives instead of helping customers. There's usully 3-4 workers in the dressing room but only one providing help while the others stand around. Also, when asked to help look for a particular item or size, most of them will just say "it's the last one", before checking their databases. Seriously? How do you know that this particular item out of your thousands of items is the last one? I would prefer going to the F21 in old town pasadena. read more

Forever 21 is ridiculous.. so usually its exiting seeing such a GIGANTIC 2-STORY forever 21 paradise.. but the stuff seemed so outdated.. and bleh.. well the lingerie section had some good deals, don't know how the quality wears, but looks wise didn't seem too bad.. but seriously how many tank top "styles" or "varieties" can F21 have/keep trying to sell.. it sucks when the seams don't line up (because if you try to fold it evenly, you will discover that the seam starts to go diagonal.. from the fabric not being lined up straight). The only reason I gave this store 2 stars is the store manager, Angel. I don't know how other people said associates here are friendly?! I found it's not the same case for me, at least twice I came here. Both time I spent over $100 at the stores and nobody every said THANK YOU for shopping with us?! They didn't say Hi how are you or Bye!!! When I asked a female associate on the floor to help me with a skirt, she told me "NO UPSTAIRS". She didn't acknowledge me or look at me. When I went upstair, another associate told me to go downstairs. Good for them that their store manager is very nice and always willing to accommodate. Without that, I would not even bring my money to their store. These days I prefer to shop online than being at a store with those rude associates. Sorry but I have no time for your NEGATIVE ATTITUDE! I really hate that Im leaving this review because I shop here often. The return policy is so ridiculous! It makes customers not want to be loyal and thats exactly what I shall be. When someone spends their hard earned money on your goods, they should at least have the option to get a full refund if an item doesn't work out, the items are not worn, and are still within the number of days requested to make a return. Giving customers the ONLY option of having a store credit is bizarre. In other words your making sure the customer spends in your store once they buy something. A total SCAM! But a smart scam. came here today and i must say i totally regret not going to the santa anita location instead. apparently, their first floor is under construction, so only the 2nd floor is open. the clearance area is quite limited; i keep seeing the same shirts over and over again in different racks. fitting room is horribly hard to find, the words' dressing room' is so freaking small i walked around the whole store and couldnt find it. waited nearly 5 minutes just to get someone to come over to let me in a fitting room lol... customer service is not that great. none of the girls working there look friendly at all. well, at first it was okay...but went downhill because of the fitting room and cashier. ONLY 1 CASHIER OPEN! took foreverrrr and the girl who rang up my clothes did not look happy to work there. definitely going to the santa anita location next time. read more

Excellent selection of clothing and accessories and the price cannot be beat! I just love Forever21 as a company. Seriously what other place can you shop and not check the price tags constantly? If you shop at this location get ready to be overwhelmed because they have a TON of clothing in this place. I have been to another Mervyn's converted to F21 so I knew what to expect but this one might be even bigger. You are best off going during the week when you have the time and energy to really shop your butt off! Yes some of the employees leave something to be desired but honestly would you want to work there? It seems really stressful and I am sure they do not get paid much. I did have some issues with a few of the employees being rude here but I also had someone be really nice and help my sister by going in the back and finding something in her size. This was on a Friday which they do not normally do. So they also have excellent employees. Remember people you get what you pay for! I found some really cute stuff here and I am pretty sure they stay open later then the rest of the mall stores which I loved. You can't beat the prices here. I really like that they have cute nailpolish, sunglasses, bras, and all kinds of stuff for super cheap now. i never ask for help unless i necessarily need it, and today, did i need it. my friend and i were looking in the basic section because she needed to buy new workout attire. unfortunately, we couldn't find the capris on the mannequin, so we decided to ask an employee walking by. (i later found out by the cashier that his name is Manny) Manny had "CO MANAGER" labeled on his badge. we both asked him where we can find another similar style and he was quick to say "we are sold out". Manny asked us if we wanted the same style as the mannequin, my friend said that it's preferred, but we are looking for all black in the leg area. He then said "oh, it's for you?" and we replied "yes" simultaneously, then he said "oh, i won't bother to take it off, it wouldn't fit you anyways" RUDE. Absolutely RUDE. we both then proceeded to tell him that we are in no longer use of his services, and he just got up, and walked away. We thanked him for his time, but got no response back. The first time I asked for help, and it was horrible. I'd rather just look it up online, and have it ordered to my home. Don't let this review ruin your shopping experience, just a heads up so Manny doesn't throw your experience off. I'll still come back because the selection of clothing is cumbersome, but I'll be sure to keep my distance and just look for things myself. read more

Yep, this is ALMOST the largest forever 21 that I have ever been to (perhaps SF's 3 story Forever 21 is the only one that I can think of that tops this, but we need to know the surface area for that). This place replaces the Mervyns that once existed in the mall. They still have parts of the counters still there, pillars, dressing rooms, fluorescent lighting, old escalators, etc. etc. There is just so much space in the store that you can really lose yourself in it for hours (I spent one hour just in there!!). Unlike other Forever 21s, this place has just so much more space so you don't feel as cramped/feel that someone is peeking over your shoulder all the time. The music was blasting like crazy that I highly suspected that anyone working there for a long duration may actually experience hearing loss someday (I had to shout out at the employee just to ask him where the dressing rooms were). This place definitely needs more renovation in order to look like a "typical Forever 21", but I am definitely impressed by their collection of clothes here! As for service, I generally don't expect the typical employee (teenage girl) to care about what I'm looking for, so I only expect to be checked out and give the proper change. I was greeted once in the store by one employee, but this was one employee out of the dozens I saw. Overall, come for the prices/trendy but disposable clothing and get on with your life! read more

I have been a long time patron of Forever 21 and thus far this is the only location that has truly made me reconsider the overrated brand. I was here a couple of nights ago trying to exchange a sweater I bought. I had the tags intact and the receipt ready, there was nothing wrong with it, and I simply wanted store credit. When it was my turn, I asked the cashier to kindly give me store credit. She responds by asking me to wait for a manager and she proceeds to help check out other customers. What's wrong was she did not call a manger until after she helped 3 or 4 people whom were behind me so I was waiting pointlessly for nothing. After she did that, she leaves and tells someone else behind the counter to assist me and he will assist me once the manager gets there. Being that I spent a good amount of time standing there, he tells me he will help me after he finishes with the girls in his line. Meanwhile the manager comes and goes. The girl who was supposed to help me comes back from her break and finally gives me the stupid store credit without the manager, so why could she not have done that for me initially? The service here is outrageous. They are unorganized, rude, and inconsiderate. They don't exactly model good customer service and it really does reflect poorly on their image. I mean look at who they are trying to market to.. the have a maternity line, a plus size line, a contemporary line, and the rest of their cheap trendy clothing. So instead of hiring insipid, incompetent people, they should be looking at a bigger picture. Not to be rude but everyone there that night was of Hispanic decent. The store appears to give me this vibe as to they are not interested in being diversified. It just angers me that this particular store has such bad service. I've been to many Forever 21's and I have never been treated that way before. It's questionable if I'll go to this particular location, but honestly with this experience in mind I rather spend my money elsewhere. Besides their horrible service, the store is big - as it should be big.. it used to be a Mervyn's department store. Quite frankly F21 turned into a department store as it carries accessories, children's clothing, a men's line as well as the many subcategories of women's clothing. The store is neither well kept, there's trash from the mall everywhere within [starbucks cups, gum, popcorn, etc]. I like this Forever 21 because it's so big! Large selection of clothes without having to deal with the hassle of parking (old town Pasadena's Forever 21). The employees here are always very helpful and offer to hold my items in the fitting room so I wouldn't have to lug everything around. This is the only reason I drive out to Montebello. :) read more

This place is great if you are in the mood for lingering around a store, taking your time and looking at everything! It has a really great sale section that has moved around once or twice, but in the last year it has stayed in the same location of the store and even expanded to be a bigger sale section. One time I came here and they had huge banners over their sale section that said, "Buy one get one free!" and so I rummaged through the sale section for a bit, found two things I wanted that clearly said clearance on the tag. But when I got the the register to pay for what I thought would be one of them the cashier told me the total for both. I asked if the discount was applied after I paid or something and she told me the "Buy one get one free" offer was only a limited time and I told her that they should take the signs down then and I told her I didn't want any of the items in that case. The cashier next to her told her that she had to give me the discount because their signs don't say in small print that it's a limited time offer. So with that, I paid for one item and got the other for free, however I was annoyed that I had to mention it. It just seemed cheeky of Forever 21 to make their customers have to ask for the discount. Either way, a while after this instance I went to the store and bought two more sale "Buy one get one free" items and the discount was applied without me asking. So that kind of made the chip on my shoulder go away. =) read more

But, I hate hate hate it when they are not busy they have both top and bottom floor registers open and when they are super busy, only one floor has registers open with like 30 people waiting in line. 2014 YELP 365 CHALLENGE - 243/365 Stopped by with a friend to shop, place looks great. Spacious, lots of clothing, but they have the same thing placed in many different places. So if you're looking for a size, you may have to go on a goose hunt. Also, they have NO ONE ON THE FLOOR. EVER. How are we supposed to get items that are hanging high up on the wall? So we had to scavenge for the long hook thing to help ourselves. But other than that, prices are good for what you're buying. read more

Yesterday I went with my sister waited in the line for her to make a payment on her forever21 card when she got to the register the cashier tells her oh I'm sorry I'm new I can't take your cash payments get in line again and wait for the next available cashier that could do the payment for you she was ok let me go to the lower level register keep in mind we were both a little frustrated after waiting so long in the line so we go downstairs and we waited again in the long line when we get to register she told the cashier can she do a payment on her forever21 account and the cashier replies oh sorry we don't take cash payment I don't know how do it wait in line again so someone else can take your payment we were so upset these associates are not trained well to provide good customer service that was such inconvenience by that time we were so upset we just left these associate are not friendly and it seems like they are being force to help the customer I use to work retail customers was always our priority what is the problem here. read more

I like this place a lot they have a huuuuuge plus size section and I like shopping on my own but I swear I can never find anything in a 3x everything is either 2x or 1x. I decided to check this place out since a friend of mine had mentioned they had plus sizes. First off their sizing is off, they had sizes 11/12 as XL, 13/14 as 1X, and 15/16 as 2X. Why would they close all the other register and leave just one row of register open? I have no clue. Why would they display GLASS bottle parfume on the register counter? I don't know but unfortunately for me my shopping bag got caught in one and it drop as I was handing over my purchase. I felt a splash but luckily the glass didn't hit my foot or so I thought. I felt bad so i didn't think much of it at the time. As I was walking around the mall I felt a sharp sting inside of my flats. I sat down to only find out that I had a lot of tiny sharp glass on over my shoes. Are you kidding me? Never coming to this forever 21 again. What I like about this Forever 21 is that it's huuuge!! The staff is friendly and helpful although sometimes I feel like the store could be just a tad more organized. The line to the fitting rooms is also very long most of the time, but it usually moves quickly. read more

I luurve this location! I don't EVER and I mean EVER have to deal with parking like I do in Pasadena. The place is very spacious and they carry pretty much the whole line like Heritage, Love21, jewelry, men, etc... They don't carry the Twelve by Twelve line though but I don't care I never bought anything from that line anyways. They have a big sale section upstairs. Decor is not as nice as the one in Pasadena but I always find something in here. Now if they would just open the Alhambra location I would die happy. read more

I've been a repeated customer here at this Forever and reading these reviews, it is quiet a shame. I've always had amazing customer service here. Not once have I had a bad experience. I've witnessed plenty of times though other customers being rude to the cashiers. I hate when people have the mentality "The customer is always right" First of all there is a policy for a reason, and everything you need to do, a return or exchange would be on the receipt (DON'T LOSE THE RECEIPT!).Now finding a receipt on the system is a different story unless you can provide the exact date time the total amount spent and exactly which register don't even bother trying. Certain items final? Don't try coming to exchange or return, they're final for a reason. Working in retail previously I know the struggles of having to deal with difficult customers. What customers don't understand, there's certain situations that's completely out of the cashier's hands. Yet employees still get blamed for the customer's problem, like its gonna somehow change the outcome. They try their best to accommodate to our needs and we need to give them credit for that. So mostly this review goes back to everyone who had to complain about this store. Reading all these reviews I was getting frustrated. There was easy solutions to some of the trouble you guys had but no instead you come on here writing your reviews :) I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their day! read more
