I'm on a Forever 21 review roll, so why not keep it going? Ok, the size of this store is impressive, and it looks pretty. The thing that bugs me about this location is the customer service and the clutter. I've called this location on numerous occasions and I'll always get put on hold for at least 5+ min...and no one will pick up! I always have to hang up and call again. Then sometimes they don't answer. And if they do answer, sometimes I get hung up on. Why do I call? Because this location is a mess. I can't find anything here. It's all over the place! Here's a friendly tip: If you have one or two items you want to check stock on, try to call (you might get lucky!) and ask for the manager...they will definitely help you, especially if you mention you've been on hold/hung up on numerous times. read more

While shopping at the Westfield location in West Covina, California. I was ready to pay for my purchase and I walked over to the registers. Two of them had "closed" signs on them and one didn't. I waited in front of that one. Three employees were standing about 10 yards away and even made eye contact with me. No one came to help. I waited. They were having a conversation. When I was about to walk over to them I met with a gentle man who was stocking merchandise and I asked if he can get someone to help. An Asian lady came over and asked me for my order pick up number. I told her I didn't have one, I just needed to Check out. She told me that these registers weren't open and I should go downstairs. I told her that I was waiting patiently and I wanted to pay there as there was no sign indicating that that register was closed. She hesitantly helped me. I am a faithful forever 21 shopper for cute and trendy clothes but this location is ridiculous.. There's a sign above the swimsuits that says $11.80 but the suits are ringing up $27.80 and the manager will NOT discount it! She even stated that it's false advertisement but still wouldn't discount it.. I left all my items there and left.. This is POOR customer service and false advertising, that's a lawsuit.. Been coming here for years and I'm not sure why. Every time I come in it is dirty with stuff all over the floor. I stopped in to pick up an online order. Stood in line for almost 20 minutes before the cashier said go upstairs. I asked where the sign was and she points to a sign behind a slew of other signs. I understand that many of the staff are teenagers but that is no excuse for the lack of customer service and cleanliness for the store. This is my last and final time at this location. read more

Forever 21's return/exchange policy is ridiculous. Since I bought my daughter Christmas gifts in mid November, it is past 30 days so none of my purchases can be exchanged after my daughter opened her gifts on Christmas day. The Korean billionaires that own Forever 21 need to change this horrible return/exchange policy to at least 60 or 90 days. This is probably the worst f21 i've ever been to. I noticed that they mainly carry seasons old clothing that they can't seem to get rid of. Even though it has 2 stories, the clothing is all mixed up and the organization is terrible; there's completely different styles on the same racks. What really got me was how annoying the workers were. Each section I went to, I literally saw a pair of girls just chatting and absentmindedly looking at the clothes on the racks and not doing anything particularly beneficial. These two workers were in my way of getting an item and when I clearly looked like I was heading there, they looked up at me and stopped talking for a bit and started chattering away. Once I headed to the fitting room, there were three workers, a guy and two girls. One girl was taking another customer to a room and two of the workers were just standing there doing absolutely nothing and staring at who knows what but seemed to busy doing that to help me. Finally, one girl approached me and asked me how many items I had in my bag and I said I wasn't sure so she put my bag on the rack and had me sort through which ones I wanted to bring in. From previous experiences at other f21's, they do that for me by taking the items out and separating it between clothing types. Once I got out, I had items I didn't want and the girls were chatting at the racks so I waited for them to acknowledge me and the same girl took the items from me and went back to chatting with the other worker without saying a word to me. Honestly, the customer service here is just really terrible and I suggest that they hire workers that actually attend to customers. This location is probably one of the best I have been to in awhile. Very nice selection, organized, clean and it is a large store! Compared to other Forevers I have recently visited in much nicer areas, I was very surprised this one was so nice. I ultimately didn't find what I was looking for but the sales associate took time to help me search for a size in a top I wanted. She took me around the entire store even though it seemed she had a leg injury since she was limping. She was very nice and helpful and I honestly have never received an above and beyond service like that at a Forever 21 before. I definitely will visit this location more now! read more

Not only is this Forever 21 clean and organized, but its actually full of helpful employees happy to help you find a particular item in their sea of clothes. I know most stores are the same but what makes this one stand out is that the clothes is actually on a rack and not on the floor. The fact that you can ask any employee to help you out with either finding a size or a particular item, they will help you with a smile. Being that this place is so big, it helps to be organized and have helpful people. They know where their stuff is because its organize.Customer service made this particular place definitely stand out of other forevers. I also enjoy that this particular location is really big!!! Two stories will lead to a few hours and a tons of cute clothes to buy. Since this one is so big, they also have a bigger sale section that you must check out every now and then. This one gets a full 5 stars because their men section is also large enough for my husband to spend a few minutes exploring while I do my shopping. On my last visit, the employee said that they did not have the dress I was looking for in my size but she was happy to look at their inventory online and find the nearest store that had it. She went out of her way and actually called them and had them hold the item for me so I could go pick it up. read more

I came in just to browse and I ended up picking up a few things as I'm waiting to pay there a girl behind the cash register ringing up someone and she's there eating some chips with salsa. I didn't get the girls name but she was wearing a black and white tie dye shirt. Call me crazy but that's very unprofessional to be chewing have your fingers all full of salsa and handling clothes. I've always gone to the Forever 21 in this particular mall only because its the closest to where I live. I was so thrilled and excited when i heard that they were going to expand into a 2 floor store. Unfortunately, the place is ALWAYS a mess...things are scattered everywhere, which is very annoying, especially when you find something u want but then cant find it in ur size because the snobby employee tells u its upstairs (under a pile of other clothes!) the fitting room lines are usually long, unless u go early in the morning during the week. read more

The is a pretty big store I believe it takes up two spaces and has a second floor I would hardly call that small. Every forever 21 I go to.. there is never a, "how are you?"..."did you find everything okay?"... it's always the same complete silence or the cashier talking to their coworker next to her, ignoring the customer. Today was no different, heavy set Latina at the register with a grumpy attitude. Your employee got mad because I paid with debit and the system needed my card to refund. My girlfriend was trying to return the pants that I bought here and you don't give back cash with the receipt and someone who paid debit, ridiculous. My girlfriend called me and told me the situation.. I was sitting outside and walked to the register within 30 seconds. I am only giving 1 star because i have to. I didn't even have to shop at this store to realize how little they value their customer service and properly train their staff. I have had 2 separate occasions where i was ONLY PICKING UP AN ONLINE ORDER. And both times we were hassled and got 4 different stories. Each staff member we encountered as undeniably RUDE; is this criteria for working here? Maybe the proper training of the staff shall be a higher priority than how many times the shirts have been folded. Atleast train them all the same so that when a problem occurs, they all handle it accordingly and with a good attitude. Bought a sweater on 30% sale and tried to even exchange it a week later because it had a big hole. They did not have the same sweater so i got another sweater that was the exact same price. They made me get a refund of the original sweater and pay full price on the other sweater which is exactly the same price. They took away the 30% discount i got originally. Why punish me when the sweater was defective and im trying to do an even exchange for an item the exact same price.... Assistant manager Jolene Wi and cashier Ivan did not seem to comprehend the unfairness of it all. There is a district manager you can complain to. I go to this Forever 21 on a regular basis just becasue it's location is convenient. Although lately I have been getting great customer service with finding items, it depends on the person who you ask. I personally know who to ask and who not to ask. If you ask the wrong person all you get is attitude and a point, "it might be in that section" which is less than helpful since the place is huge. I just called during opening hours to ask if someone could simply look for some tights. I called numerous times they phone rang and rang till I was finally sent to a busy dial tone becasue no one had answered in so long. That is ridiculous, and this isn't the first time this has happened either. It has happened several times before, I have to keep calling to get someone to answer. Then when someone finally answered it was a rude girl, who told me they can't do item lookups. I understand they can't do item lookups when it's the weekend or they are busy, but it is opening hours on a Wednesday they can't be that busy. Then I just told her that I wanted some tights, a simple walk upstairs and look. She immediately responded we don't have any. Even though I was there last night and saw them, which I told her. Now that she new she was caught in a lie, she came up with some bull**** excuse about the floorset. I used work in retail please don't try that on me. Honestly I do love this forever and the few employees who are helpful and nice, but they are only a few in a store filled with rude lazy girls. I am only giving three stars because the nice, helpful employees deserve their credit. This is one of the worst forever 21 ever. The staff is very cold and the managers are very disorganized. If you are trying to find something in the store that was online, you will never find it because the store is a MESS and most of the clothes don't have more than a quantity of 2. The racks are all packed with random clothes that supposedly "blend" with the other clothes. They only assign 1 (2 if they are generous) to work in a section, making it impossible to get help from the sales associates because the managers assign them to ONLY work in the section and not help customers. The clothes are becoming more and more over priced , and the sales in the store aren't ANYTHING AT ALL. The dressing rooms look like they haven't been swept in a while. Don't waist your time coming here. They say the customer are number 1 but in reality it's the money they are trying to make by the end of the day. Take it from me... I worked here. read more

This is seriously the worse Forever 21 I've been to, I bought a pair of short boots and they were both marked as size 7, I only tried one boot at the store and it fit. So I brought them home when I tried to wear them one seemed tighter than the other one, I thought I was just my foot but when I compared them One was bigger than the other one, I took them back to exchange one of the boots for the right size. When I got there I talked directly to the manager and explained to her what had happened and she right away didn't seem to want to help me. I stayed calm and I was really nice, I let her know that I didn't want to refund I actually like the boots very much and I just want the right size she went ahead and had people go to the back and check to see if they had a size 7 1/2 to match the one that fit i waited for like an hour and she came back with the result that they didn't have it. I asked her if there is a way for her to call another store and have them hold that pair for me and exchange it. I didn't have the original receipt but I did have my Bank transaction and she was able to pull up the transaction on her end. So then she went ahead and said that she wasn't able to get another pair from another store because it had to be in stock in her store, and she let me know that the only thing she could offer me is to exchange the pair that I have for a different kind of shoe or some other items. I explained to her that I really like this Boot and that's it's not ok that she wasn't trying to fix their mistake. So she insisted that she couldn't help me because I didn't have the original receipt and all she could do for me is give me a different pair of shoes from the store she didn't even try to call any other store to see if there was something else she could do. So I leave I called the Forever 21 in Ontario and the manager there was glad to help me, She let me know that they are able to reprint my receipt again in store and they had a 7 1/2 and they were going to hold it for me so that I could exchange it. I am very disappointed with the service of this store specially because the boot was Marked with the wrong size so the store was in the fault and they should've gave me what I needed for having to come back and forth because of their mistake. So I came in about a year ago, purchased a dress, and realized there was a hole the minute I got home from the store (1 hour drive). I called to check if I can come back to exchange it another day, same week, only because I didn't want to make an extra 2 hour trip back and forth in the same day again. The woman over the phone said I wasn't able to return it anymore, so then I asked to speak to the manager. The manager, a man, then asked if I had a receipt and tag and I said yes, it was literally an hour ago when I made the purchase and I explained that I had just left the store and found the hole as soon as I got home. He then started giving me attitude saying he won't be able to do anything unless I brought it in THAT DAY. Are you kidding me! I'm very sorry the associates here do not check for damages before we complete our purchases. I asked for another person I can speak with and he said he was the manager available, and very rudely said, "anything else I can help you with?" As soon as I said no, he hung up the phone. Horrible store! All the young "ladies," are incredibly rude! I made yelp just to write a bad review for this store. In my opinion this store should hire an entire new staff of workers or close. Store closes 30 min before the posted closing time. Manager is even rude (Yesenia). Everyone who works here needs to go back to school or church to reeducate themselves on proper etiquette and common sense. I have driven out to the Ontario mills Forever21 multiple times just to avoid these young "ladies." I have never been so offended in my life. As a student at UCSB I have encountered difficult situations before, but never have I ever been so frustrated(dealing with these young "ladies," is the definition of insanity...doing the same thing over and over, while expecting different results.) The majority of these young "ladies," did not have their name tag visible (some hid it in their sweaters, others had it turned around, while some just RUDELY stated that they refused to give out their name). One of the workers even grabbed/yanked a sweater straight from my hands! One of the workers who refused to give her name, had even yelled in front of others that my friend was a B and made them stay extra, even when it was 8:45 & they closed at 9. The worker who refused to give her name has been rude to my friend and I multiple days/times. I have seen this worker and others sitting down on the counters during business hours and just relaxing. The worker who refused to give her name also yelled at my mother, an elderly lady(not all cultures respect their elders, but all employees should respect their costumers!) Super pissed that the Headquarters aren't open to complain right now. I can guarantee that I will be the first one on the headquarters' line when they open. read more
