Not one time when we raised concern about the poor workmanship was it addressed. Although promises were made, no one saw the promises through to the construction site. The metal bendaboards were left incomplete with raw edges that could either be a tripping hazard or foot gashing. We have hired someone to refinish the travertine and the metal bendaboards. The sprinklers which had to be diverted from the stone patio were left without being shut off. We hired another landscaper to fix those. Our water feature was left leaking without being fixed or finished. We have lost so much water that we're forced to shut it off and search for another contractor to redo the poor installation. read more

In the past I really couldn't visualize what I wanted...much less convey to a landscaper. When the Project Consultant arrived at my house, he was professional and interested in what I wanted to do. I received a call from Cliff and set up an appointment the following afternoon. I couldn't believe how quickly things were going! Forever Green Landscaping provided a real quote, contract and start date for my project! The communication was stellar and I liked the people I met. They all wanted to have my satisfaction in the design before going forward with the work. So the weekend before Valentines day was chosen to start the job. Firas scheduled Vic and his team to begin the demolition at 8am. Sure enough Firas sent me a text to let me know they were enroute. Vic and his team arrived everyday at 8am. including that Sunday. They worked hard with short breaks AND cleaned up at the end of each day so me and my neighbors did not have a mess to look at. I had a very negative experience with this company. I spoke with them and they came to my location and gave me a written quote for my job. None of the project costs were itemized. I emailed follow-up questions to the project manager who did not respond. I then followed up multiple times to get the project scheduled. When they finally called me back they refused to honor the written quote they provided and claimed that it was below their minimum. They indicated that they would only do the work if additional work was added totaling an additional cost of almost 50% more although there is no additional work needed. I asked them why they quoted a job they had no intention of doing and they had no response. I also asked why the quote was no longer valid given that there was no termination or expiration date provided, they also did not have a response. Beware of this company, their business practices are extremely deceptive and problematic. The owner's response below is both misleading and inaccurate. read more

Our pool concrete deck needed staining and sealing. We secured several bids and ultimately went with Forever Green Cali. Not only did they make the most reasonable bid, but they also were extremely patient and helpful in answering all our questions. To help us with the color they kindly offered to stain small sections with three color samples of our choosing. After they did this, we were not satisfied with the samples and asked for a fourth sample. They did not hesitate to provide the additional sample, which turned out to be the perfect color. The job itself went smoothly and was very well done. I cannot say enough about the professionalism and excellence of Kareem, the project manager, and Izzy, who did amazing and beautiful work on the staining/sealing. Communications were excellent. I have wanted to overhaul my back yard for the last few years. I had a little bit of a picture in my mind of what I wanted, but the vision wasn't complete. I knew I wanted it to be water-wise and functional, but I also wanted it to look pretty. Forever Green came out to give me an estimate and they totally got my vision. They added more to my concept and made it a lot better than I had imagined. Upgrades such as lighting were suggested, but in a helpful and not in a pushy way. I feel like they really listened to me and wanted the project to turn out like the vision I had in my head. On demolition day, the crew was very professional and respectful of my property. They worked efficiently, totally clearing out my old lawn, trees, and shrubs. I wanted to try to save a pomegranate tree that was growing in back, so they carefully removed it and planted in my side yard for me. It is now happy and thriving in the new location. I really appreciate the construction foreman, Vic, for his skills and experience. He was very artful in his approach to landscape construction. The whole crew was really great. After I had the sod removed, they came in and removed dirt to level the area and poured concrete paths and a 12'x12' concrete pad with a gorgeous pergola. I wanted to maximize my space for gardening, so they made custom sized raised redwood beds to fit the space with decompised granite. In addition, they selected a beautiful array of flowers and shrubs to attract pollinators and provide big bursts of color and texture. All the electrical and irrigation is automatic. The lights are on a timer and they even helped me download the Rainbird app on my phone so that I could make adjustments to my watering schedule remotely. I was given plenty of options regarding rocks, mulch, stepping stones, plants, and flowers. I could not be happier with the result. It truly is the best investment I have ever made into my home. We had a completely unfinished backyard that was in desperate need of something. We had Forevergreen come out to give us a quote. Fairs came out and from the start, he was very communicative. They also listened to our wants and didn't try to upsell us at all. We walked our property and let them know that we wanted rock in the back and on the side yards. We also let them know that we were going to install steal garden beds so we needed some irrigation lines. They took notes and measurements and let us know we would receive our quote later that evening. We were extremely satisfied with the quote so we were in contract within 2 days. Once we agreed on the rock, they got started and they were amazing. These guys know what they are doing. The rock was dropped off at 9am and the guys were finished by 4ish. I hired Forever Green to replace the lawn/sod and all the sprinkler system in my house. Forever Green gave me a quote that is $1,500 cheaper than the cheapest contractor who gave me a quote. Not only that, they planted few shrubs with the same quote they gave me to make my yard looks more beautiful. We just had the best experience with Forever Green! We reached out with a semi-complicated request for a quote on a phased backyard project and they responded immediately. We had them out to give us a quote (which was sent to us same-day). I had several questions over the next few days, asking what it would look like if we added or took out this or that and their staff was so responsive and knowledgeable . Once we made the decision to move forward, we signed the contract, paid a deposit and they had their electrician out the same day to get work started.
