I do not do this ordinarily, but I feel compelled to write a review on here! My mom died in February and as I was cleaning her things out I found a $30 gift certificate that she had won through the senior center. It had an expiration date on it which had long ago passed, so I called to see if it would still be accepted. The owner, Skye, said bring it in and we will see what we can do. My daughter was having her 13th birthday so I thought a cake would be a nice thing to order for her where we could use the certificate because funds were a bit tight. The party was scheduled and we had to cancel it the day of at the last minute! It was a week before Christmas, bad time for a birthday!, almost no one could come after all due to illness that was going around and other last minute family obligations. My daughter was understandably very upset but we talked and decided to reschedule it after the first of the year where everyone could now come. I still needed to pick up and pay for the cake since it had been ordered. I went in, the first time I had ever been there, and asked for my order and proceeded to pay for it. I let it slip in passing that although I was buying the cake, alas, I would be eating it myself that evening, lol, or trying to freeze it since the party was cancelled. These things happen! I asked if it would keep well if I froze it for the rescheduled party, and the best way to wrap it. The owner Skye, went to ask his wife/partner, the baker, if it would freeze well. He came out from the rear room and said..."take this cake home, enjoy it, eat it. I will make you another cake at no charge when she has her rescheduled party", I nearly fainted!! What a nice person, a nice gesture, so unheard of in this day and age!! People who care, have a heart, are generous, and are human!! So, with that said, I cannot say enough good things about the owners of this bakery!! Oh yes I can!! The cake was absolutely wonderful!! Just scrumptious!! Had this not happened I would have gone back for the other cake anyway just because it was so delicious!! I really wanted to like this place! I gave it a few tries when they were first sweet endings and now forever sweet. But my taste for them left when I tried to order a cake! We called 5 days ago asking for a price quote on a minecraft cake for my son and they kept saying they are Waiting for their manager to price it out. Still waiting and not a single call back. And we called a few times. Service stinks and that's too bad bc my company orders a lot of cakes. Thankfully we found a place near by that's new and not only returned our call but they were so pleasant to deal with. I will not be recommending this place ever. read more

I stumbled upon Forever Sweet when I discovered my go-to bakery went out of business. I am so glad I did. The service is spectacular! They were helpful and kind. And since I had never been before, they even gave me a cupcake for free to try and my oh my was it good! I can't wait to pick up my husband's birthday cake. What a great little place! I found the reviews are misleading. bought some for a coworkers birthday & I could tell she was disappointed with her chocolate/chocolate. my cupcake was chocolate/mint. both of us agreed the cake was good but frosting was just a notch above grocery store frosting. I was anticipating delicious buttercream like some crave worthy cupcakes in NYC. maybe I need to try a different flavor but at $2.75 for a very small cupcake not sure I want to risk it. read more

I ordered a birthday cake for my mother's 60th birthday party. Sky was great when I went in to order, and when he heard I hadn't ever had anything of theirs before, he gave me a cupcake and it was the most delicious cupcake I've ever had. The cake was JUST AS GOOD. Everyone at the party complimented the cake and came back for seconds. This was the only time I've ever seen a party without a huge amount of the cake left. I was looking for a Woodland themed cake to match the theme of my step daughter's baby shower. I saw the Fox/Woodland Cake on the Forever Sweet Bakery site, and ordered it with marble cake, chocolate frosting and chocolate mousse filling. Everyone loved the cake when I brought it in, but the real raves came when we passed out slices. The staff was friendly and the cake was reasonably priced. We recently enjoyed a birthday cake for my husband's 50th birthday. I stopped by twice to work with Sarah and Skye on designing the cake. They designed it exactly as I asked. The chocolate cake was incredibly moist, the ganache was silky, and the decor was festive. Their cupcakes were also delicious. I would definitely order a cake here again. For my daughter one year old birthday party I bought a teared cake from The Forever Sweet Bakery and loved how it looked and tasted. Today I was craving some cupcakes and ended up in his bakery I remembered how great everything was, I bought six cup cakes and a cake-pop. I thought the chocolate cupcakes were perfect, it was moist, fluffy,so spongey, the cupcake has a great little twist in it almost tasted like cinnamon which I loved. Terrible customer service. I ordered a birthday cake for my daughter's birthday last September and my family enjoyed the cake. Not the best we've ever had but good enough. For Valentine's Day, I decided to order the same cake but a different size. I couldn't remember the exact type of cake I ordered so I called the bakery to ask whether they could find my previous order in order to replicate the order. I also asked whether the bakery can take my order because it was needed for Friday (I called on Tuesday evening). The owner of the bakery took down my information and told me that he'd call me back after looking for my prior order so we can confirm the order. I didn't hear back from him so I called the bakery this morning (Thursday). They told me that it was too late to place an order even though I had previously spoken with the owner, was told I could place an order with a promise to call back that didn't happen. With this type of customer service for cupcakes/cakes that are just OK, I'll spend my money elsewhere. Update: After posting this review, the bakery called me back (probably after reading this review) to tell me that they would now be able to take my order for Friday. After the earlier experience, however, I decided not to take them up on the offer and will also not be a returning customer. read more

I read the most recent reviews and was a bit nervous about my order. Went ahead anyway and was so pleased. Went in with a design from Easy...it was copied exactly and the biggest comment from guests was the taste of the cookies....delicious! So many times the cookies look great and fast rock hard...these were yummy. The order was ready on time, contact with me was great and all in all, I was very pleased. Forever Sweet Bakery cake is AMAZING!!! We asked Sky for a Paw Patrol themed cake and he and his team made the cake exactly like the picture I showed him. The cake and frosting are absolutely delicious and everyone loved it. Additionally, Sky is so nice! My almost 3 year-old was with me when I went to the store and she was tired and not at her best.
