Through word of mouth, I heard this bar was continuing the Miracle pop-up through the end of January. I never made it in time to the Orlando one, so I was so excited to visit! I went around 1pm on a Saturday and sat at the bar. I really loved all the holiday decorations, strung up lights, Christmas trees, stockings, and Santa hats on all the chairs. The bartender was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the old fashion off the Miracle menu that had gingerbread in it. VERY GOOD. I really wanted the Santa pants cup (to take cute pictures obviously) and the bartender made this accommodation. The drink was strong and flavorful. Came here when it was the Miracle pop up bar! We have been to another Miracle bar in Orlando, and I think they did not decorate as much here to be honest. The drinks were all very good, but the one I wanted they ran out of the cool special cup to put it in so I ended up ordering something else. All the holiday drinks came in fun glasses so that was a part of the whole lore of coming here during this time! We did try dessert and the cheesecake was so decadent and sweet - i loved it! Another amazing dinner at Forgotten Tonic!! if you're ever in town or a local like us, this is one of our favorite restaurants. Forgotten Tonic is not only on one of the oldest streets but the food, ambience and the staff are incredible. I had the grouper with Thai fried rice. There was not one grain of rice left on my plate amazing. My husband ordered the rigatoni, La vodka. The sauce is amazing my husband being Italian is quite picky but they really captured a true Italian sauce. Thank you to our sweet Chef Izzy and Chef Ash for their culinary inspirations. I've been here several times over the years, but only ever for the Christmas bar. Miracle at Forgotten Tonic. It is a consistently wonderful experience. Lovely decor and amazing drinks. I got the mulled wine and my friend got the hot buttered rum beverage. Both were excellent ( I tasted hers for quality assurance purposes). Mulled wine is one of my favorite holiday drinks and this is a quality version. The cups are different depending on the beverage you choose, and they are all adorable. The staff is so pleasant and the bartenders are very engaging. Service is excellent! Highly recommend this experience to get fully into the Christmas spirit. What a super cool spot we found!! We came here on a Saturday night and waited about 10 minutes to order at the bar. The bar itself is decked out in Christmas swag and they have an entire Christmas menu of cocktails (and mocktails that pregnant me could enjoy--yay!). Everyone loved their drinks! This is a drink-only review. They're good. Sitting at the bar, on the kitchen end, it's called the splash zone, but it's where the action is. When It gets busy, the speed and skills of the bartenders is entertaining. Service has always been great. I like the drinks at Odd Birds, but I love the vibe here. I hear the food is good. This bar was decorated for Christmas(only for a short time). It was very cute and perfect while you enjoy the Nights of Lights. So our experience was probably a bit unique. First we arrived at 2pm on a weekday. The day before the big 2 day concert. It was about half full, and we were in an ideal set of bar seats. The bar is comfortably cozy and offers several sidewalk tables. The liquor is well stocked- lots of choices in each spirit and there's a decent wine list too. There's not a lot of seating and it probably won't work as a destination for groups over 8. Reservations highly recommended. First time eating at FT last week with 4 friends. Service was great- Natalie did a terrific job. All of our meals were wonderful, with the exception of the fish sandwich. It was triple tail and absolutely delicious, but the gigantic ciabatta bread bun was overbearing for the delicate flavors of the fish and slaw. The bun was also cold, which was not too appealing. We all agreed that a lighter sandwich bun should be used, and toasted or heated. Other than that, no complaints at all! This has been on my list to try for a while. My friend got the espresso martini and said it was the best one he ever had. I wanted to try the veggie burger but they ran out just before I got there, even though they were only open for an hour at that time. I saw they had fried green tomatoes so asked if I could have a sandwich with that or have the veggie burger but instead of the patty have some fried green tomatoes on it. The server recommended their BLT that had fried green tomatoes and was $2 less. Great, I asked if instead if the bacon if I could swap for avocado, yes, of course. But when I got the bill, it was an additional $4 to add the avocado even though it was in place if the bacon - the main part of the sandwich. So it would have been cheaper for me to get the veggie burger and swap the patty for fried green tomatoes for $19 versus than $21 for a BLT with no B. That's just something as a vegetarian that bothers me because the main price of the meal is the meat or if they can't do a swap I understand that too I just wish I knew or I wouldn't have gotten it. Shame because the sandwich was really good, but not worth $21. read more

The history of this property is fascinating. The building was the home of the treasurer of the Spanish Crown. It was discovered after his death that he embezzled 10xs+ his salary. The property was seized from his beneficiaries and used by the Spanish crown as a hospital until the British took over in 1770. We heard the food and drink menus were very creative. We all ordered the Chi Chi which was a happy hour cocktail with vodka, creamy coconut, pineapple, and lime. So delicious! We shared happy hour snacks of whipped brie and truffle fries. The brie was some kind of pillowy cheesy heaven with honey and focaccia. The truffle fries were garlicky and full of flavor. We will absolutely be back for dinner one day. read more

Tucked away on Aviles Street lies the Forgotten Tonic. For me it's like a secret getaway each time we visit. We take our two seats at the bar and are quickly greeted by one of the most prestigious bartenders I have ever had. His name is Johnny. He's a true treasure and FT is lucky to have him! He takes his time, meticulous, a warm familiar face that happily greets us. He creates expertly crafted cocktails that are sure to please even the pickiest of tastebuds. He is thorough, never misses a beat and always has a smile on his face. Even in the thick of the weeds he never falters, never appears fazed by the endless crowd of people surrounding the bar. Last night in particular we were casually sharing that we had eaten nearby for our anniversary. Shortly thereafter, a slice of delicious chocolate cake with a chocolate crust was presented with a sparkler on top indicating one of celebration. We felt like royalty! Top notch customer service would be an understatement. We were also fortunate enough to have a delicious bourbon cocktail made that he mentioned he'd won a contest for (understandably so, it was Devine!).
