Great Service, really good Sandwiches.. Wasn't a long wait. I'm going to try one of the burgers next time I go.

Walk in, order and take out. Standing room only, no seats. I ordered a 6 inch The Cowboy, asked for the BBQ sauce to be on the side, onion rings and a chocolate pie. It was hard because the coconut cream pie looked delicious!! Order came out within 5 minutes. Total was about $22. The 48hr marinated tri tip is so GOOD. Tender and flavorful, the onions and mushrooms were cooked to perfection. The cheese pull was insane in the best way possible. The BBQ sauce was on the smokier side than tangy which I liked so I would recommend to get it on the side so you can control the amount of sauce on your sandwich. The onion rings were crispy and large, they also give you ranch on the house without having to ask. The chocolate pie is so good!!! Not too sweet while still being a decadent chocolatey thick mousse texture. The crust is slightly chewy, like a cookie texture and not a crumbly graham cracker like store bought pies. RECCOMEND! I have no doubt that their other desserts are amazing, when I came in today they had just finished making the coconut cream pies. Will have to try next time, they also have cheesecakes. SUPER GOOD DESSERT. I had my doubts when the first 10 reviews had no photos of their own but this spot is legit. Service was awesome and friendly. Will be coming back. read more

First time customers and it won't be the last. Everything was amazing! The kindness and customer service took it to the next level. We really appreciate you guys and can't wait to try more! We ordered 2 sandwiches and 3 pies. Marinated tri tip on Genova bakery roll is amazing any way you get it but the Santa Maria was what I had and I will be back for more. My husband had the cowboy and didn't share so that should tell you how he felt about that. The pie/cheesecakes we got were cookies and cream, apple, and banana cream. Apple was my favorite. First time trying this place and oh so glad we did! Food was absolutely delicious! The meats were so flavorful and juicy. The sides done perfectly. Real deal buttermilk ranch to go with perfectly crunchy & seasoned tator tots. So good, we'd travel for the food. These guys are killing it with the bbq and everything else they're serving up, including killer desserts. They had great pride in their food and it shows. For the amount we paid which was a little over $40, we got a lot of great tasting food and great customer service! read more

First of all good luck finding this place even if you were born and raised in Stockton. This is hidden off of Don Avenue pretty close to Sandman Park for all of you ex or current City League softball players. First, from what I can tell it looks like all the food is made from scratch and looks legit. I didn't actually order lunch or food items except for the pies. This review refers to the pies! The mini pies are a good portion to share but let's be honest. Nobody these days is sharing a pie of this size...so I bought two. The apple pie was excellent and the crust was unique. It wasn't your typical crust as it seemed like a ground cookie of some sort. Think molasses cookie crumbled into a crust holding a firm texture. Also, I have to give high marks for the sweet potato pie which was highly recommended. I love pumpkin and sometimes I'm hesitant to go all in on the sweet potato but these were absolutely delicious. I'm excited to go back and try some of their lunch and dinner items. You can't judge a book by its cover and you can't judge Fork It by its parking lot and location so be bold and try something new. I had the tri-tip burger melt in your mouth deliciousness the tri tip and charbroiled patty were excellent both juicy a tender. I've been meaning to stop by for awhile and I finally had an opportunity to go when a friend from out of town was visiting! Let me tell you! My friend and I were delighted by the quality of the food and the customer service we received! The sandwiches are !!! We had split a tri tip sandwich and one of their chicken sandwiches. After finishing half of their tri tip sandwich, we had to save the chicken sandwich! On top of that, they have desserts made IN HOUSE! We ended up getting a couple of them including a sweet potato pie, coconut cream pie, pumpkin cheesecake and Berry compote pie! They're individual sized but it is enough to share with another! First time catching this place while it was open -- their hours are a little wonky, but third time's the charm! I stopped in after seeing this spot listed under Best Burgers in Stockton on Yelp. OMG... first of all, the SERVICE was above and beyond! I didn't get the names of the two gentlemen who helped my dad and me, but they were seriously the nicest guys ever. They recommended the tri-tip and even gave us a sample -- packed with flavor! I went with the Santa Maria Tri-Tip Sandwich, and honestly, I don't think there's anywhere else in Stockton that can top it. This place needs to be packed! To top it off, we were given a free coconut crème pie (again, incredibly kind and friendly!) -- and not only was it good, but as someone who doesn't even eat sweets, I couldn't put it down. You could tell it was homemade from the very first bite. This place deserves WAY more attention. A definite must-try! I never leave reviews, but I had to for this one. read more

I tried this place because of all the five star reviews. While I was there, they gave me a piece of tri-tip to sample. It was heavenly. And no, I'm not exaggerating. I ended up getting a medium rare Fork It Burger and onion rings and some sort of moose pie sort of thing with coconut that they had in the display. All of them were fantastic. The only downside was that there's no place to sit down, but not enough to get me down from five stars. They still get five stars. Also one thing of note. Normally I'm on a very clean diet of boiled chicken, fresh fruit etc. One meal a week I go off the rails and eat something like this. Usually it leaves me feeling a bit off for about a half a day or so from preservatives, artificial flavoring, etc. None of this happened from my meal here, so I can best conclude the reason isvery very clean ingredients. MUST try in Stockton! Note, Fork It is essentially a walk-up (in) spot so don't expect to grab a table or anything. We called ahead for a 3-person order and pickup was a breeze with the great staff. I ended up getting the Ike's steak with cheese fries, brother got the cowboy and his gf got the ranch chicken. We all happily reported 10/10 and for those that got the 12-in, they are large enough to save for a second meal. The Ike's sort of reminded me of burger-like flavors in a steak sando and the bread was the perfect blend of soft and warm. We also picked up 3 mini pies: cherry cheesecake, chocolate pie w coconut cream and an Oreo cheesecake. When I saw the others in the display, I almost bought a 4th! I also love how they'll rotate flavors. My cheesecake was so good, I had to refrain to eating it all in one sitting. I will be back for sure and can't wait to try another menu item! Stopped by Fork It today for the first time after hearing great things! They did not disappoint. The rib platter was mouth watering but the Santa Maria TRI tip sandwich stole the show! Had te pleasure of meeting Chef Ike and he made me feel like I was part of his family. Deserts, sides (try the onion rings) and great conversation made this a 5 star visit. We will definitely be back to try other sandwiches....only piece of advice, get there early when he offers the rib plate, they sell out fast!! Fork It is a hole in the wall gem that offers great service that translates into amazing food. This 3rd visit confirms it. Having ordered the Santa Maria Tritip and Pesto Chicken Sandwich offered two types of meats to enjoy. The Santa Maria's smokiness was subtle and the tenderness of the meat was to die for. The low and slow cooking time ensured the meats juices were dripping at every bite. Too often chicken breasts are dry and tough, but Fork It defies that. A tender, juicy chicken breast was the highlight (as it should be) and the pesto was one of the best I've had. I have my daughter a try and her response was "is this from one of those fancy places you go to?" I highly recommend Fork It. Read the reviews for pies and had to swing by here on the way home to grab some treats. Just wow. We tried the personal sized Oreo and cherry cheesecakes and a full sized chocolate banana cream. Just fantastic! Chef was so kind, he came out and chatted with me and my daughter about the pie, helped us make choices. Even said next time to call and he'll have some treats ready for us to pick up! We had 2 babies in the car with my husband, and service like that is so very helpful! Me and my girl went here for the first time today and the customer service was great! They knew we were first time customers and gave us great suggestions. I ended up going with the TRI-TIP SMOTHERED BURGER basket and man was that thing packed!! Was cooked to perfection and also came with fries. My girl got the IKE'S CLASSIC STEAK sandwich meat was cook to her liking and also all the meat was marinated throughly. We also got the FORK IT! FRIES they were all the staff hyped it up to be. The establishment was kept clean and the area is very quiet. We also couldn't leave without trying the pies and cheesecake we took home the RASPBERRY CHEESECAKE, CARAMEL APPLE CHEESECAKE, and COCONUT CREAM PIE would definitely recommend all of them. We will definitely come back and also share with our family and friends. From fans when they were on the Miracle Mile. Fort It, Returned and better than ever at a new location. Now a few blocks north of Hammer Ln near Sutter Gould to get one of the best burgers in town. We'll be back for a tri-tip sandwich next and anything else they're cooking up. These guys are cooking up flavor and delicious marinades you have to try. Our go-to is the classic bacon cheese burger cooked medium on a Genova roll. Even the onions, lettuce, and tomatoes are sliced for that perfect bite. I've tried a couple different sandwiches and they always hit the spot. I'm not the biggest fan of the fries, but it does not bring it down for me at all. Prices are reasonable, Service is good, and hopefully you don't live too far from the location because there's not really a place to eat there, but it's great to take it home and eat. read more
