The food was mediocre, and the servers weren't good. My friend wanted to substitute one item for another and was told there would be an extra cost on an already high priced breakfast. Information $8 for two egg rolls ridiculous!!! And our waitress was really good but the server missed our package brought. My sons didn't bring mine after saying something about the egg white. So server was very polite and went and talked to the assistant manager which said you have been forked and it's $8 two egg whites again ridiculous!! read more

Came here again today and had to get some more menu items I couldn't get last time. The huevos rancheros and "Elvis, Hunk of Love" French toast. Absolutely delicious and I don't think this place would ever disappoint! Kat was our server and she was attentive and so nice. It was so hot out, but she kept us hydrated with ice water the whole time. Even when we got our check and were ready to leave, she offered to get us some more ice to keep us cool Has to be my new staple brunch spot. read more

If it was an option to select zero stars I would. Food was disgusting. Plate was dirty and to top it off they messed up the order. The owner must be new to the industry. We should have left after noticing the condition of the men's room. It is hard to believe they will be in business long based on the lack of customers. Poor decision on my part but I saw it advertised in a local magazine and wanted to try it since it was located in a cool area. Mothers Day Nightmare! To give context, this was my third visit to Forked. The other two visits on quiet weekday mornings were amazing. Now on to this past Sunday. We were quoted a 20 minute wait time and there weren't a ton of people that appeared to be waiting. After 20 minutes we checked in and we're told there were 3 ahead of us...... at the 60 minute mark we were told the same thing. After 70 minutes we went back up and we're seated after being told we had been accidentally scratched off the list somehow. 10 minutes after being seated our waiter showed up. She took the drink order and read it back. I had to correct her read back. When drinks arrived, she had not listened to my corrections and then argued that she had verified our order. Then she took our food order and left. The manager approached us and asked what happened. We told him and he said he'd be back with roses for the ladies... never saw him again. 3 out of 4 of us got our food but I waited another 5 minutes for mine to show up. Food was good but not as good as it had been on other visits. My recommendation is to avoid the place on sundays. We won't go back for a while read more

Confusion at hostess stand then other issues arose. No spoons to stir coffee, no sugar, creamers. Salt and pepper shakers almost empty. Worst coffee I've had in a while, extremely bitter and only warm. Breakfast came and both meals were cold. I finally found the manager and he offered to replace the meals but we had been there a while and couldn't wait. First time at Forked and wasn't impressed. Service was exceptionally slow and restaurant was maybe 25% full. Ordered corned beef hash which wasn't a hash at all. Potatoes fried separately and poorly. No seasoning and vegetables were raw. Corned beef and eggs were good, but pancake tasted like McDonalds. Asked for hot sauce, never came. Asked for cream, never showed. Went here for the first time yesterday for brunch with my family. The Sunday farmers market was going on outside so it was crazy busy but in my opinion that just added to the charm of the restaurant. Our server was fantastic, the food was good and the theme of the restaurant was super cute. I got a spicy bloody mary, I didn't know I liked bloody Mary's but I would drink that one again for sure. We had a wonderful experience at Forked! Beautiful new space, great playlist, friendly staff. I had the chicken and waffles, which might be the best I've ever had! Hubby had the steak sandwich and said it was very flavorful but wished the ciabatta was a little crunchy. The mimosas are made with fresh squeezed orange juice so they are extra good. Rating is pending. Have visited on 3 occasions and will be visiting again next week. Food has been OK nothing to knock your sox off but the service has been horrible. The non committal generic responses to comments on yelp are disconcerting. It is not that large of a place. Not sure what the hype is all about, but our experience was not the best. We had a table for four and once ordered our server was very hard to find. She only came by once maybe while we were there eating. Another server actually helped us more than our actual server who was mostly attending the bar counter or was not in sight at all. The food was mediocre at best and was not served all at once, but rather came out in segments. To begin, one meal came out in its entirety with a partial other. Then when the rest of that partial meal came out I received part of my order as well. Then later I received the rest of mine and poor 5 year old son never got his until much later and all he got was a pancake. My steak and eggs were bland, pancakes pretty flavorless as well. There was no seasoning or anything on them. Fruit cup was small and had wilted grapes in it. My mom and sister said the same about theirs that it was pretty bland. For the high prices we expected much better. Overall, we were not pleased with our experience, but may try them one more time to see if maybe it was just an off day for them. read more

Went for brunch Monday, Labor Day weekend. Short wait for a table. We were looking forward to a Bloody Mary, based on the pictures on their site. Sorely disappointed, this Bloody Mary was watery, bland and had no garnish, not even a celery stalk. When I asked, was told they were out of celery?? Ordered the waterside crepe ( big enough to share), forked bites, order of toast and two bloody Mary's. Received vegetarian crepe instead of one we ordered but didn't realize until we had eaten most of it. It was acceptable, the crepe a little thick for my liking. We mentioned to waiter, but no price adjustment was made (it was only $3 but it's the principle here). The forked bites (loaded tater tots) were really good, as was the toast. The service was a bit slow, but okay. At $80 before tip, not a place I'm likely to return. read more
