    Kim's Art

Have been going here for years and love everyone but my regular technician moved away. Today a new tech named Kim did my nails. She is fantastic and I will be going back to ask for her. My nails are exactly what I asked for.

Didn't apply my polish evenly (zoom on middle & ring finger at top), coughed in my face, cut me, painted my skin & under nail.

DO NOT GET THE OLDER LADIES! They cut you, cough a lot, & don't paint good. Prices are higher than I've ever paid at other places but you can't beat the service & interaction of the rest of the staff. Just to be clear, I love this place & will away keep coming. The people are nice, remember you & the things you've told them in the past. I love the staff but just don't get the older technicians. I'd like to add that I've seen reviews talking about "underage girls", these girls are over 20! They look young due to their race/ genetics! I've been coming for years & have gotten to know the staff personally.

Annie has been doing my nails for awhile. She is a talented nail artist. She is always up to try something new and different that I see on Pinterest. Here we did a nude undercoat with gold chrome stripes.

Not impressed with the quality of the mail polish used and the application. Higiene was also an issue. Lady used a cuticle cutter that was full of previous client's cuticles, so not sterilized or even wiped down with alcohol or disinfecting agent. This was the third polish I chose because the previous two colors were old and sticky. While the place itself is decent and convenient, the standards are quite low. I'm disappointed and don't recommend this place.

Polish diluted with thinner does not dry well and chips and gets scratches. This is my nail on the evening after the manicure.

I don't recommend. The lady cutting my cuticles was going so fast she was leaving little cuts along the way. But for me the worst part was that they dilute their polishes with paint thinner so much. When you add thinner or even acetone to a polish you diminish the quality of the paint so it takes forever to dry and when it finally does dry the paint chips and indents so easily. I hate it when salons are cheap and instead of buying new polishes they dilute them. After a couple of days my polish was coming off so I removed it instead. Money down the drain.

    Not even and not smooth

Well.. usually I do only my toes and not anything on my hands. Went to vacation and decide to do nails they experience after it was horrible the nails looked very not even Start to pill after three days and they charge me more than $50 for this now after 3 days that I did my nails I need to go and do it again very disappointed don't go don't spend your money over there.

This was my first time visiting this nail salon. I wanted to find somewhere closer by my home and a tad cheaper. Everyone was really friendly and I didn't have to wait long as a walk in. That was a plus! I went in for coffin nails. I paid $30 for my set which is cheaper than where I went to before. They did have to OPI shade that I wanted. However I don't feel that the shape of the nail was "coffin enough". Overall I'm satisfied with my nails. I will go back to give them another try and I'll provide another review.

Had not been in over 2 years, and they remembered me and my sister like it was yesterday. My favorite technician Jennifer / Loan (pronounced lu awn) was with another client which was okay with me as I trust all the technicians! I was so glad to see Loan happy and healthy and to learn that her son, who serves in US military is also doing very well.

This is immediately after I got a refill with shellac...the polish was old and my nails have lumps and waves in it!!!! This is terrible

This place is a disgrace!! The owner is extremely rude and sneaky....she is the lady always wearing workout clothes. They over charge and the prices change every time. I have been coming here for about 5 months because it's close to my house and I have paid a different price every time. They are always rushing and the owner will walk by and tell the staff to speed up. I was also told once by the staff I had pretty feet for a black girl. I guess this was intended to be a compliment. So rude. I have to go back tomorrow because my nails were terribly done AGAIN and that will be the last time I ever step foot in that establishment. Not to mention they have underage girls doing nails without a license!!! ZERO STARS

Finally product and I love it

Quinn did an amazing job on my nails and the price was really good! The nail salon is super clean, and it wasn't a long wait. This place has been here for 2 plus years and this was my first time. Needless to say I will be going back to them. Thank you ladies for great service at a good price.

This place will vary a lot with quality, but the good technicians usually only work by appointments. So walk-ins will still leave you looking like you painted and shaped your own nails with a blindfold on. They will also constantly switch up the price on you for the exact same service. Last time I went there, they ignored a crack in my acrylic and went over it with more acrylic- trapping moisture in the crack and causing fungus to grow under the nail which was caught by a different salon, and now I can't wear acrylic nails for about a month. Licensed nail techs are supposed to inspect each nail for any cracks and remove all of the acrylic completely and replace it if they find any. Obviously this was too much work for them. Don't be fooled by the prices, you definitely get what you pay for here.

The employees at the front counter were nice. The beauticians were cordial and spoke good English. Although they often communicated in Vietnamese among themselves. It doesn't bother me. Because they're not loud like other nail salons. I brought my friend here in May. They were very accommodating because he was on a wheelchair. The aisles were wide enough for it to get through. The manicure station was built for wheelchair accessible. We started off with just nail trim ($22). Then he got curious about getting a shellac ($40). They came out so beautiful. Except, they won't come off easily like nail polish. They started to grow shorter as nails grow longer. It took him several weeks of washing and finally someone used paint solvent to remove the shellacs. Sigh... shellacking is not for every man. I haven't given up on Milano. I just need to find a right time to visit. Because I have a bruise on my toe, I waited until it got better before coming here. I ordered a classic refreshing pedicure package ($32). I am not into polish or massaging or anything fancy. The 30-minute nail treatment was good enough for me. Beautician Mary was my pedicurist. She took good care of my feet, especially that bruised toe. She was patient and friendly. My feet felt so rejuvenated and ready to do my routine park walk. I will be back in a few months. Maybe I'll bring other friends to try it.

Dear Milano Nail Spa Management/ Brian,…read more I am writing to submit a formal grievance regarding the treatment my family and I received at your Meyerland location on September 5, 2026. This visit was especially important to me because I was celebrating my birthday with my family. Unfortunately, what should have been an enjoyable experience became upsetting, uncomfortable, and disrespectful. My nail technician was Kayleen. I explained to her that this was my first time getting an overlay and that I had questions about the service and different types of nail art. As a first-time customer, I expected my questions to be answered patiently and professionally. Kayleen did not take the time to properly explain the overlay service, the different types of nail art, or my options. She was short, rushed, and rude when responding to my questions. Additionally, Kayleen was very rough while working on my nails. My nails continued to hurt for several days following my appointment. This was concerning because a professional nail service should not leave a customer experiencing unnecessary pain days afterward. Mimi performed my pedicure. When she asked what color I wanted on my toes, I stated that **I wanted the same color that was on my nails**. Kayleen then informed me that it would cost an additional $15 to have that same color on my toes. I politely declined and said, "No, thank you." Immediately after I declined the additional $15 charge, **Kayleen aggressively grabbed the nail polish** and began speaking to Mimi in another language. Mimi responded to her while I was sitting directly in front of them. Both employees had communicated with me in English. This exchange began immediately after I declined to spend the additional money, and their demeanor and behavior toward me changed. A similar situation occurred during my pedicure. Mimi asked whether I wanted to pay extra for a solution to remove the calluses from my feet. I again politely said, "No, thank you." Following my response, Mimi again began speaking with Kayleen in another language, and their demeanor toward me changed after I declined another additional service. Customers have the right to decline optional upgrades without being embarrassed, pressured, disrespected, or treated differently because they choose not to spend additional money. When I checked out, I asked to speak with the manager, Brian. The young man working at the front desk informed me that Brian was at another location and that I could speak with the assistant manager, **Wen/Wren (name spelling uncertain)**. As I attempted to address my concerns, the assistant manager did not acknowledge or address my complaint. She looked toward me, turned her head, frowned, and walked away while I was explaining what had occurred to the front-desk employee. As an assistant manager, she did not demonstrate appropriate customer service or management responsibility when a paying customer was attempting to report a complaint. There was another part of this experience that concerned me greatly. While I was explaining my complaint at the front desk, I observed another customer, who was not Black, complaining about how her nails had been done. Her concerns were addressed calmly, respectfully, and attentively. In contrast, my family and I are Black, and our concerns were not handled with that same level of respect, attention, or care. I cannot state what was in the minds of individual employees; however, I can state what I personally witnessed: a non-Black customer's complaint was handled respectfully while my complaint was not. This difference in treatment raises a serious concern about whether race or bias played a role in the way my family and I were treated. I am requesting that Milano Nail Spa management take this concern seriously and investigate the incident. I also want to recognize the employees who provided excellent service. Lylyy was wonderful while doing my disabled mother's nails. She treated my mother with kindness and respect. Holly was also professional, respectful, and provided great service while doing my niece's nails. Their conduct demonstrated the level
