Not just one under cooked chicken MULTIPLE

Ive been coming here for a very long time and very disappointed with my visit today. I ordered a passion fruit drink and popcorn chicken. Food and service is usually good but today threw me off. Drink was good but the popcorn chicken was under cooked. Chicken was red and way to mushy. So I called to let them know and see how they would be able to take care of this and was laughed at by the worker who answered the phone. He asked me to return to the shop so he can look at it and I don't live close to them so I was not going to be able to return. He kept on laughing and saying that he's never heard of a complaint like mine and proceeded to laugh some more as if I was telling a lie i then proceeded to offer pictures of the under cooked chicken and as he received them he's proceeded to laugh even more. I've never felt so disappointed, disgusted, and disrespected from a situation that could've been resolved with a no worries come back at your convenience for a refund or a different menu item. I will be reporting their negligence to the city.

    1. This spot gives a lot of chicken, and the ice coffee float was refreshing! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes with lots of seatings! 3. The staff was friendly and timely with my order! Since I ordered popcorn chicken, the entire order too about 10-15 mins! Note: They do have free Wi-Fi at this spot! Photo: Popcorn Chicken and Ice Coffee Float

Cute cafe in a large shopping area. We went there for bubble tea. There was only 1 person ahead of us so service was quick. Table and chairs available to hangout. This place also has a crane machine.

Love the popcorn chicken they have there. Very well seasoned and consistent every time I order. Plus they give you a lot for your money. Their tea is also good quality.

Earl Grey Milk Tea with boba (it was ok)

After hanging out here with friends a handful of times, I feel that Formosa Tea Time is a pretty typical boba spot that also offers fried snacks and trendy desserts. I have only gotten milk teas here, and they were ok. Seems like they rely on sugary creamers, artificial syrups, and flavored powders, which are not my cup of tea XD The lackluster service from the staff directly contradict the cutesy decor and upbeat music (it was jarring, not gonna lie). Kinda wished staff were friendlier. I won't go out of my way to get boba here or try their new stuff. Prices are more affordable compared to most boba shops, but the drink quality and in-store service leave more to be desired.

(Current Yelp Check In Deal: 10% off purchase) Formosa Tea Time is located in the same plaza as Aldi's and Daniel's Home Center. You can find Formosa Tea Time next door to Charley's Philly Steaks with plenty of parking. My husband and I came here last Saturday, around 12:20 pm. After looking over the menu, we ended up ordering: Almond Milk Tea, $3.75 + large size $1.50, prior to tax- I ordered this drink to be made with 50% sweetener and no ice. I wished I had ordered this to be made with 25% sweetener because this drink was way too sweet. I ended up adding black tea at home to this drink to lower the sweetness level (it lasted two days for me). Tiger Milk Tea, $3.75 +  large size $1.50, prior to tax- Same as my drink, my husband also thought his drink was very sweet with 50% sweetness (and he also ordered his drink to be made with no ice). He was surprised by the color of this drink because it looked like Thai tea and also kind of tasted like it too, although our receipt shows we ordered the tiger milk tea. ----------------------------- (Total= $11.31 after tax, prior to Yelp 10% discount) Wait time was about 6 minutes for our order after paying. If you need to use the restroom, you need to request for the key from the counter. I thought the restroom was clean but had tagging/ scratches in the toilet seat. Also the soap was severely watered down. Not sure if I would come back here for their tea drinks but possibly would like to try their food.

I love getting the osmanthus oolong milk tea from here! It's always freshly brewed and the price is more reasonable than other trendier places.I hate getting those pre-made powdery tasting ones, so this place is definitely a gem in Anaheim. Will be back

Rose Milk Tea and Popcorn Chicken

This is my second go-to boba place! (Only reason it's not my first is because there's another shop closer to my house lol). All the drinks are so yummy and I love their cheese sticks!

Your typical milk tea shop. It seems like a nice place to study if you are looking to get some work done. Also if you check in with Yelp, you get 10% off your drink. I personally really liked my Earl Grey Milk tea! It was very floral and definitely very accommodating to my taste buds; however my cousin got the Jasmine Milk Tea and it tasted too much like powder. If you go here I would recommend getting their special milk teas, I feel like those definitely taste better! We also got the popcorn chicken which taste like your typical popcorn chicken, they definitely have a lot of breading on it so if you like the crunchiness this is the place for you! They also have different size cups and the big plus about this place is the price range is pretty nice for the size. The large is definitely LARGE! And if I was correct, the it was only around 5 or 6 dollars so quantity wise... it definitely is a bang for your buck.

At first glance, Formosa is a nice and big study hub with free wifi and lots of Taiwanese snacks. The service was friendly, the interior was brightly lit, and there are lots of vintage claw machine games. However, their food just wasn't to my liking at all. I had the large green milk tea was just tasted like powdered milk. They do give large portions for a good price, but I just couldn't drink it when comparing it to other boba stores. I mostly came because they have popcorn chicken, but I was a bit disappointed when it lacked flavor. The texture was really good and crunchy, but I tasted like I was just eating flour! Don't get me wrong, this place is alright, but other boba stores are so much more alluring because of their better tasting boba and snacks.

Raw popcorn chicken! Ordered Cajun popcorn chicken and it looks like they switched to thicker cuts. The texture was mushy like raw meat and parts were pink and raw.

To be safe, we also got the Mentai Salt & Butter Roll. While we liked the Roll and its crunchy outside/soft inside, we actually loved the Oyaki. The mochi isn't sweet at all, just nicely chewy. Upon walking in, my jaw dropped at how gorgeous and atmospheric the entire place was. It looked like nearly everything was custom made for the cafe, and made with love and tons of detail. There's a super cute little nook in the corner where you can chill secretly with your friends, beautiful tabletops for both board games, reading (from their small library), and cafe enjoyment, tons of hanging immersive decorations, and wall features that make it look like you're in a fantasy universe. Though the lighting is dim and colored, there's also enough proper light source to conduct any activity. Their bathrooms also have bidets. Should you want to dine outside, there's an outdoor themed patio. And if you want to game, there's a cyber cafe. The Final Fantasy collab was represented in mainly the entire menu change and cutout decor photo-ops. The menu had items that you'd expect to see straight out of a cartoon, and as suspected, existed more for aesthetics than taste; our drinks were too sweet and a bit more watered down than desired. If the refreshments matched the level of quality of the interior, this would for sure be a perfect cafe. While waiting for your order, it's fun to peruse the item shop, which had a lot of various trinkets and local artist merchandise. For the overly decorated areas, it seems you need to make a reservation to actually utilize the space, as there are strict usage requirements to aid in the upkeep and preservation of the effects. While inconvenient, I can see this is in place to keep the cafe continuously clean and beautiful. Even though I'd go elsewhere to eat or drink something good, it's worth supporting this business for the photos and vibes.
