If you need cosmetic work done, Dr. Lee is simply the best. He did a beautiful job bonding my front tooth. I had moved and switched dentists and a years later I needed bonding redone on my front tooth and my new dentist could not achieve the same results as Dr. Lee. I have gone to Dr. David Lee twice (once for a check-up and cleaning and another time for a filling) and both times he was very kind, professional, and quick. I'm not a big fan of going to the dentist and he made sure to make me feel extremely comfortable. He sits with you for a few minutes beforehand to explain your options and how he will do the procedure. He also tells you what he does as he does it which I found very comforting. Both of my routine appointments were quick and painless. The front desk ladies are also very kind and they take their time with explaining the costs, insurance coverage, and payment next steps. They also emailed me my itemized receipt when I requested it. As an added bonus, his office is on the 69th floor of the Chrysler Building and has incredible views of the Manhattan skyline. As a side note, Dr. David Lee does not do oral surgery, but if you are looking for a great oral surgeon, I 100% recommend Dr. Robert Dolman! read more

FYI - my Dad is a now retired Dentist and actually interviewed my new dentist and confirmed on the course of treatment and co-reviewed the X-Rays with Dr. Lee. That's how confident and cool Dr. Lee is, to be willing and actually enjoy talking shop with my Dad. 5 years later - I couldn't have made a better choice in my new dentist. Dr. Lee is a fantastic dentist. He's talented and doesn't push you to do more than is necessary. They don't overcharge (in fact, they even waived the nominal amount insurance wouldn't cover for me). The location is amazing (top of the Chrysler building, giving amazing views through the windows while getting a cleaning is pretty unique). The staff is incredibly friendly as well. No one likes going to the Dentist, but with Dr. Lee, you are in great hands. read more

Hi, I've been seeing Dr. Lee for about 3 years now. The office is beautiful. What a view! Dr. Lee and his assistants alway make me feel welcome and comfortable. I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes in the waiting room. I had good insurance last year and it covered everything, but that may change this year because he's no longer on my plan. Dr. Lee is pretty laid back (unlike my last dentist who aggressively pushed services like whitening and braces). So far, I haven't needed anything serious like a crown or root canal with Dr. Lee, that's why I'm holding off one star until I can see the range of his work. read more

Best dental experience in my life!!! Like most people, I hated going to the dentist. They're always rushed and they do procedures without even asking or explaining things very well. But Dr. Lee and his associates made me feel very at ease. They took the time to answer all of my questions and helped me weigh my options after the x-ray. During the procedure, they communicated what they were doing at every step. And they were always concerned about my comfort level which made it almost painless. I visited the office twice before 2 years ago. First time for dental cleaning, which is ok. except the wait time is little bit long like almost one hour the nurses claimed my booking wasn't found. Then the second time after the dental cleaning the dentist Lee persuaded me to do 2 small part fillings, said clearly Before and After the Procedures that my insurance will cover the entire cost I don't need to pay. Weeks later It turned out Dentist office sent me a bill for $70, I called the dentist Lee He said "we didn't know the insurance covered just some of that so I billed you the balance $70. I said it's not about the money it is Principal issue. I take your words for it before the procedure" then he sounded rude on the phone and didn't admit he said anything before.. I become irritated by this attitude and then hung up on him. The thing is after I paid the bill this dentist office kept calling me every few months to return for dental checkup, etc.. that's what I am sick of and made me remember this terrible experience at times. Lately I blocked this phone number in order not to get their calls anymore. I saw a lot of dentists before but this is by far the worst experience ever have and feel this is unfair to patients. I saw the dentist got good reviews, well i am surprised that means the other patients are luckier and haven't been treated like that before. read more

Dr. David Lee is a kick-ass dentist! Although i needed an extraction, it was one of the best visits to the dentist I've ever had. He explains everything so concisely and gives you options so you can decide how to proceed. He is easy to talk to, has a great sense of humor and he really cares. The receptionists and assistants are wonderful too! Even though I have only been there once (in June), the appointment maker actually remembered me when I scheduled an appointment for my wife. I was shocked... in a GOOD way! She reminded me that I am due for a cleaning. Terrific people all the way around and Dr. Lee is the ABSOLUTE BEST! I am not a big fan of going to the dentist, so that should say a lot. read more

Dr. Lee and his staff are very capable, knowledgeable, professional and friendly. The office is clean and they do not overbook like other dental offices which make you wait sometimes over an hour past your scheduled appointment. They also seem to accept most insurances and do not push you to undergo unnecessary treatments. Quite frankly I hope to never have to look for another dentist ever again. I picked Dr. Lee because I needed an in-network dentist not too far from my apartment. I was so pleasantly surprised. His office is on the 69th floor of the Chrysler building, and he did my cleaning (himself, not his assistant) while I enjoyed an amazing view of the city. The cleaning itself was extraordinarily fast. The x-ray and cleaning together probably took 30 minutes - the fastest I have ever had one. Since noone likes spending a long time at the dentist, this was a big plus. My husband came in to have two cavities filled, and he was in and out in 40 minutes TOTAL, i.e. including check-in, payment, etc. I'm really happy to have found this dentist and definitely recommend him to anyone looking for someone new. read more

I'm a civil servant who has GHI for dental coverage usually when I visit an in network provider I feel they are rushing me in and out of the office trying to make their money on the volume of patients they can see but this was not the case with Doctor David Lee. He took the time to make the best dental impressions he could so that my crown would come out perfect, he got on the phone with me directly when I had some questions regarding the temporary tooth he put in, and he would explain the process to me step by step, as he worked on me, which put me at ease as their were no uncomfortable surprises. The first time I saw Dr. Lee I had a good experience. However, my 2nd appointment was cancelled by the staff. I have a pretty tough schedule and made the appointment on a specific day during the only week I was able to come. I had waited 3 months for this opportunity. So the office offered to reschedule my appointment for the following day. I agreed but said that I am not sure that I will be able to make it because of work. When it became clear that I wasn`t going to get out of work on time I called the office to let them know. Their response was that I should`ve called earlier and that they will waive the fee this time as an exception. I was completely caught off guard. It was never mentioned to me that there was a cancellation fee. I don`t need my dentist office to bring more stress into my life so I did not make another appointment. When I told about this to my co-worker, whom I referred to Dr. Lee, she told me that they wanted to charge her $150 cancellation fee when she couldn`t come for her appointment during the snowstorm. Needless to say, she is never going back there again. I guess they are so busy that they can afford to treat their clients this way, because this is not how you attract or keep your customers. read more
