After reaching out to a bunch of places, I went with Havana because I had tried their food before and their pricing was very reasonable. We ordered full trays of adobo chicken, lechon roasted pork, crispy tofu, paella, sofrito rice, black beans, corn, poblano mac and cheese, and plantains. I did bring in one dish from another restaurant, Jamaican oxtail, just because I know my guests are big foodies. The biggest hits from Havana were definitely the poblano mac and cheese, lechon, and the paella. Honestly, the mac and cheese was the standout. Everyone kept going back for it and I wish I had ordered an extra tray. What really stood out to me though was the delivery experience. The driver called me ahead of time, brought everything in, and set it all up. He opened the trays with gloves, added sauces, arranged everything nicely, and even put out utensils and labels. I've had plenty of catering deliveries before and this was easily one of the best. He was just genuinely kind and went above and beyond, and it made a big difference. Overall, everything went smoothly, the food was great, and I would definitely order from them again.

I'd have to say that by now, we have ordered every item on their menu - including the lechon, and we've gotten great feedback from family & friends. It left us wondering--why is Richard the one calling back customers instead of Minh? I'm writing this in the hopes that Minh will reach out to me directly with a contact number so we can move forward and work with Aloha Catering.
