Went at lunch time they had cheese, pepperoni, and a feta tomatoe pizza. It's a walk in order then go outside to wait place as it's small. There is an outdoor area you can eat at. They take the pizza and run it through the oven which makes the bottom the perfect crispness and crust with a little crunch to it but still chewy. This is probably the best pizza spot in town. It's a good crust and a good balance of cheese and tomato sauce. I would go here again.

I typically only eat pizza that has just cheese on it, but I branched out and had the Angles pizza here. It was delicious. The pizza is freshly made. It has a beautiful place to sit and eat. There is room for kids to play and have fun. When walking in a local was heading out and said, "this is the best pizza in town." 18' pizza was a huge pizza with lots of toppings. Can't say that I liked the crust; it was too tough to bite off. Only downside is the cost. As good as it was, I think too expensive including tax and tip. read more

Tasty pizza. No seating. Strictly pick up and take out (small counter but no seating area). We wanted to patronize a local place instead of a chain pizza restaurant. At first, we thought the pizzas seemed a little pricey ($25 for a large) but once we saw the size of it, they were worth it. We had several of their specialty pizzas (two Meat Mans plus a Popeye - they were our of the Kim's) and a build-yourself pizza. The dough was chewy and crisp. The sauce not tart. Had lunch today at Forrest's Pizza. The service was awesome, Kennedy was so sweet and engaging. The fresh, right out of the oven pizza was delicious (as it is every time). Best pizza in Silver City. Any flavor is good, but I tend to order a large cheese pizza to save a little money. We also like the garlic knots with their fresh tomato, basil, garlic dipping sauce. I keep any leftover sauce and put it on pasta after all the pizza is gone. read more

It's been 14 years since we left NJ, where good pizza is considered a high art form. When we traveled around the USA, we'd try pizzerias in different towns, but I was never impressed with their quality (OK, I may be a bit of a pizza snob). I heard a lot of reasons why "NY Style" pizza couldn't be duplicated out west: "The water is too hard" (a very common one), "The altitude doesn't allow the dough to whatever" etc etc. Well....I FOUND THE PLACE, and it's right here in my Silver City, NM neighborhood: Forrest's Pizza! AND they sell pizza "by the slice". I enjoyed two slices on Thursday....PIZZA HEAVEN! I forecast my pizza intake is going to increase dramatically.
