Roast Beef Swiss Melt
Dan B.

Excellent food and a comfy atmosphere made for a most enjoyable lunch. I ordered their "Roast Beef Swiss Melt" which included sautéed mushrooms & onions, and a side of au jus ($17.99). It came out piping hot and was delicious! My side of coleslaw was excellent! My coffee was very good (and hot). The fact that I had to remind our waitress about me ordering coffee (after she had obviously forgotten) is not enough to penalize the review. She apologized all over herself and proceeded directly to get my coffee (it was very busy day too). They have gluten free options and weekly dinner specials available at 5pm. They have several choices of cheesecakes for dessert, but I didn't splurge this time. They have a full bar area in the back that looks inviting, as well as monthly drink specials. Definitely a place you should check out when you're in the area.

Lasagna and Filet Mignon

Valentine's dinner was really nice! I chose the lasagna and hubby chose the ribeye BUT the table next to us just ordered the last one (at 5:30pm on Valentine's Day?). Anyway, he ordered the filet mignon and practically cut it with a fork. Very happy with the meal.

Our ladies group planned a trip to Labelle and decided to eat at Forrey Grill. Amanda was willing to let our large group come and eat. There were about 28 of us and it all went great. The food was delicious and the staff took great care of us! We truly appreciated their hospitality!

For a small town, Forrey Grill is the best restaurant in town. City of LaBelle has about 5000 population. It is difficult to find a good restaurant and we are lucky to have one here. They are American Italian restaurants. We started with garlic knots. It is garlicky and nice. My dish is blackened Swai fish. I got it extra blackened and it tastes good. I got my meal with tomato basil soup and is good too. My friend has fried swai and grilled salmon. Both dish also good. We have very good service there. Food is affordable and taste is good. What can you ask for small town.

My fun and tasty creation from the huge salad bar

I was hesitant about returning since my last review. We had the same server as last time. Keri was great! I ordered Fettuccini Alfredo with a house salad and garlic rolls. My hubby got a chicken salad sandwich. Our serving were huge. We could only eat half of our food. Very delicious! Glad we gave this place another try. The place was clean , good excellent and in a timely manner.

Angry Shrimp

After a 30 minute wait, which is unheard of in this small town of LaBelle, we were seated and had the pleasure of having a wonderful server. I forgot her name. I ordered the eggplant parm and the salad bar. My husband had Angry Shrimp. You will not leave this restaurant hungry. The meal comes with a choice of salad bar, Caesar salad or soup, AND garlic rolls. They have a full bar and a wide variety of food including Italian and American. I highly recommend this place and I also recommend to call ahead and make reservations.

We love going to restaurants that we haven't tried. Our friends live in Alva and recommended the Forrey Grill. I had looked at their menu, which had some nice selections and was very reasonable. So Dave and I got there about a half an hour early. We decided to have a drink and wait for our friends. They had already reserved a table for us at 4:30. So Dave ordered a Cowboy Way IPA, which was from a local brewery and I had black coffee. The IPA was very good. We sat by the window in this older charming building located on Bridge Street in LaBelle about 45 minutes from where we live. I always crack myself up when I think that my daughter had a friend there, Michelle from LaBelle lol! The waitress was very friendly, encouraged us to sit and relax while waiting for our friends. The restaurant is very accommodating with a gluten free menu too. There is a small salad bar that is loaded with lots of goodies. I ordered the mussels with spinach and a side of mashed potatoes instead of the linguini. It came with the salad bar. Dave had the ribeye steak with veggies and a Caesar Salad. Our friends had Chicken Parmigiana with spaghetti and salads. Their portions were tremendous and they took half home. Next time I will definitely try that dish and it looked yummy! We had a lovely dinner in this adorable restaurant. They have a small bar in the back in another small room. By six o'clock the place was really packed with people waiting to come in. We will definitely return soon to this lovely restaurant!

Very good. Labelle's secret is out. Judy & I arrived early. Took the front row window seat so we could watch for friends. Cowboy Way IPA was LaBelle's local brew. Exceptional fresh taste and hoppy. Perfect. After friends arrived we ordered and Dianna was a great server who knew her menu. Jude had mussels Florentine while I went for the 14oz ribeye medium. Plenty of time to kibitz over drinks while we waited. Ceasar salad was pretty good- nice anchovy flavoring- fresh and ready for me. The mixed veggie side was also worthy and delicious. I prefer my steaks 1 to 1-1/4". However, Chef Steve made sure mine had surface char while pink on the inside. Nicely watched. By this time I was topped out with no room for desert. And the crowds were backing out the door. After occupying the front seats for 90 minutes it was time to allow regular patrons or seating. Nice decor with a cozy bar in the back room. The experience was enjoyed by the four of us as they could not finish their dinner. The restaurant staff worked well together as a team and bussed tables as we completed without having to wait. We will joyfully return again

Our second time here driving from Palm Beach to Ft Myers. Place was busy, server greeted up promptly, honey ordered a antipasto salad. He liked it also w a bowl of their tomato soup. I don't care for the huge chunks of tomato. The hot rolls w oil and parm cheese are addictive I got the chicken salad on Texas toast w lettuce and tomato. The lettuce was the icky green one throws away. Can't believe I didn't take a pic of it, too busy picking it off !There were pieces of chicken that wasn't part of the salad, Cartilage? The Cole slaw is a heaping side but I took only a few bites, meh. The waitress did not ck on us till3/4 done or I would have said something, sure I could have flagged her down You know when U look at other orders coming out? The mussels looked yummy, maybe next time?

It was freezing that night so we basically ran from the hotel to the restaurant because there's no way to get there other than outside. We were seated immediately, without a reservation. It was Sunday and not too busy. Around 7:30pm. I was done drinking for the day but my husband got a cocktail called Devilfish and enjoyed it. Not sure why that name but I was an attractive looking cocktail. I wanted crab cakes. I'm surprised the price for the crab cake has not changed in years. I saw on old pics of the menu that it was $19. Well, it's still $19 and I find that absolutely remarkable. They did not disappoint; full of crab and a nice crispy crust. The radish garnish was pretty and edible, but plain. The house complimentary bread had a lovely rosemary salt on top. I had the 10oz black angus filet. It was perfectly cooked. It's a thick cut of meat so I did add a little salt. The roasted garlic accompaniment was fantastic. I milked all of that. The gratin potatoes were so cheesy and delicious. My husband had the seabass filet with the almond crust over green beans. It was phenomenal. The crust they achieved on the fish was so good. We opted for dessert- the creme brûlée. It was served with espresso ice cream and some chocolate pieces on top. Pretty good! I like that it was slightly warm in the middle under a thick sugary crust. Service was excellent and food was fantastic. We packed up our leftovers. Bathrooms are clean. Bar looks nice. Would definitely eat here again.

Party of one and I was seated right away in the bar area. Charlotte was my server and she was great. I asked for her recommendations, which all sounded amazing, but I went with the grilled prawns, 6 oz filet, mashed potatoes, and Brussels sprouts. Here's my honest breakdown: Grilled prawns 3/5. The first bite had that perfect charred, grilled flavor... so good. But the second one didn't hit the same. Steak 5/5. Absolutely buttery, tender, and honestly didn't even need a knife. Chef's kiss. Mashed potatoes 4/5. Really good, just a touch too much garlic for my liking. Brussels sprouts 2/5. This one disappointed me. The cheese wasn't melted and the glaze was way too sweet. I only managed a couple bites and left the rest, which says a lot because I love Brussels sprouts. Now let's talk about that bread and butter... chef's kiss all over again. Creamy, whipped, and just downright delicious. I would gladly take that to go. Overall, it's a solid, typical steakhouse experience. Nothing over the top, but definitely some highlights. One suggestion though... please add key lime pie to the menu. That should be a staple at any restaurant in Florida, just saying.

We started with the mozzarella and prosciutto appetizer with tomatoes. It was an interesting dish and definitely well executed, though I expected a few more tomatoes on the plate. The prosciutto seemed lightly pan-seared, which gave it a crispy texture that I really enjoyed, and the bread was wonderfully crisp as well. Overall, a solid starter. The main event for me was the Kona-crusted bone-in New York strip, cooked medium. I've had this dish at other Capital Grille locations, and it continues to be one of my favorites. The Kona coffee crust paired with the sauce is such a great flavor combination. The steak itself was a very good cut of meat, tender and not tough at all. I personally would have liked a little more sauce, but I can also understand that the coffee marinade and crust are meant to be the star. For dessert, I had the chocolate espresso cake, and it was excellent. It struck a great balance: rich and decadent without being overly sweet. The service was also excellent. I feel bad that I can't remember our server's name, but he mentioned he was fairly new, around seven months in, and he did a wonderful job. Friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the meal. We even left him a taste of our bottle of wine to help him end his shift on a good note. The food is phenomenal. The lobster bisque, lamb chops, Wagyu steak, and Brussels sprouts were all absolutely on point -- well-prepared, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Nothing felt rushed or sloppy. What really sets this place apart, though, is the service. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely professional. My 8oz filet came out cooked exactly how I wanted it, nice and tender, though it could've used a bit more seasoning to really make it sing. My wife went with the salmon and crushed it--perfectly done, great choice. Sides? Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes, both solid. No complaints. Now here's the pro tip: order the soufflé the second your entree hits the table. It takes extra time, but it's worth the wait. Rich, decadent chocolate and vanilla with a mixed berry sauce that ties it all together. Dangerously good. All in all, a great meal and a fun new spot to add to the rotation. We'll be back.
