I had to have my car towed here on the Friday night before New Year's Eve. I'm not from the area and was unfamiliar with the shop, but it was close-by and within my AAA towing range. It was after hours, so the car just had to be dropped in their lot and the keys left in the drop box. My car has a lot (270,000+) of miles on it, so I was afraid that this was maybe finally the end. Nope! She lives!!! I was very happy with the work they performed to repair my car! It ended up costing significantly less than the original estimate we talked about. They are honest, fair and trustworthy folks at Fortier's. They are 30 minutes away from where I live, but I'd definitely considering bringing my cars back there for work if they need it. I will be taking my truck for service at Fortier's from now on. After years of taking my truck to the dealership Bald Hill Dodge, who could not fix my front end issues causing premature tire wear, I took it to Fortier's and they found the problem right away and fixed it at a reasonable price. Hadn't had a smoother ride for years. There is a sign in their shop that says "Its hard to find a repair that we can't do", and I believe this to be true. Fortier's was recommended to me by word-of-mouth from a coworker when I first started working in Fall River. It's been almost 15 years and I still go to Fortier's for my car repairs and routine maintenance. They have worked on my Honda Civic, then my odd ball Oldsmobile Intrigue, next my Prius, and now my Infiniti. They charge fair rates for exceptional service. Their reputation and their honestly is beyond reproach. The Fortiers have always been happy to show me failed parts, explain the repairs, and advise on options. I've never had a bad experience with them, although the intrigue was not nice to my bank account. There was that one time that my brake job took far too long, but that is what happens when a customer decides to walk into the garage and have a heart attack under your car. I had a 2 hour drive home from Fall River and there was a loud noise coming from the bottom of my car that I couldn't figure out. It was Saturday at 3:30, and so no auto shops were open. I was nervous that it wasn't safe for me to make the trip back so I took a leap of faith and came into Fortier's seeing that the light inside was on. They were SO KIND to me and even though they closed at 1:00, took the time to fix (what ended up being) a super easy issue with the shield under the car. They explained step by step what the issue was and how to fix it to calm my nerves and educate me since I am not very car knowledgeable:) They didn't charge me, and both me and my parents (who were worried back at home), are so grateful for the generosity and kindness shown to me at Fortier's.
