    Lunch special soups

A-ok lunch here because the lunch Mongolian beef was great... 4 stars with the tender beef, grilled green onions and fabulous flavor. Everything else was just ok, though I wouldn't crave it again: The Rangoons were made with unusually thick wonton wrapper (which I didn't care for) the plum sauce was on the thin side and had little flavor, the honey chicken was too heavily breaded and the pieces a little smaller than I like. The fried rice was too heavy on the soy sauce. It was all edible, but just not great. The service was attentive; she checked on us often, which we appreciated. The interior was comfortable and we would give other entrees another chance if we are close by as the lunch specials were very reasonably priced, but I won't drive out of the way.

Best Chinese we have had in the area. Prepared expertly and was very fresh. Loved this place, staff were very friendly. Look forward to my next visit.

Heavy on the onion and scallions, but otherwise perfect! Maybe next time I'd add broccoli and mushrooms for a fee? Lucky Wok probably does more of their overall business with online ordering and takeout than they do for dine-in. It's easy to order online: just bring up the website, make your selections, check out & pay. And don't forget to tip! Pickup is just as simple, just let the host know that you're there for carry out and your hot food comes out. If there is any knock, then it might be that the turnaround time from order to food is not always as promised. But the quality of the food is wonderful, so I can let a few minutes go here & there. And the prices are really good, especially when you see how much food you get! An order of General Tso's chicken with a side of rice runs me $14+ and I'm not kidding when I say that is easily two meals for me and usually three. Many of the dinner specials come with a side, and the egg rolls and spring rolls are excellent. My wife is a big fan of their wonton soup, a hot, nourishing homemade broth that cures what ails ya. Great food, great location (especially for me), and great value. Definitely worth a try.

Their menu consists of a lot of dishes, and some are quite unique .. you don't usually see items like bird's nest dishes at most Chinese restaurants around here except for maybe Bolings. Me and my husband visited on a Saturday night around 8 pm and really devoured our meal. The menu can feel a bit overwhelming at first, but you honestly can't go wrong with stir fries at any Chinese restaurant. For appetizers, we ordered chicken egg rolls, which were hefty and filling. For the main course, I ordered the chicken in black bean stir fry, and my husband got the shrimp Kung Pao chicken stir fry. We paired both with steamed rice. The black bean chicken was rich and earthy, with that deep, slightly funky flavor from the fermented black beans. It was very umami, salty and complimented nicely with the fresh, crisp vegetables and well-cooked chicken. I really liked it. The shrimp Kung Pao was spicy and tangy, with perfectly cooked shrimp (the fried shrimp covering was chefs kiss) and crispy veggies. Overall, we really enjoyed the food. The egg rolls were about $4 for two pieces, and the stir fries were around $17+ each. The portions are quite large compared to other places in the area, so the pricing seemed reasonable. For 2 main course dishes your bill could easily reach up to $40. Otherwise, The restaurant was clean, the staff was kind, and service was quick. It also wasn't too crowded when we visited. I would rate the service 4/5, mainly because we had to ask for silverware, condiments, and tissues separately. The food, though, is definitely a 5/5. Highly recommended! I will definitely return to have more dishes like beef chow fun, the soups and last, but not least BIRDS NEST!!
