Sounds delicious, but the waitress never told me it was a WHOLE trout. I don't mind whole fish but I wasn't expecting it because it was not advertised as whole or mentioned to be whole! It had so. Many. Bones. Which of course because it's whole but if I knew I would have gotten something else! The funny thing is, the table next to us ordered the same thing after and our waitress told him it was whole, asked if he wanted a sharp knife, etc. I was NEVER offered those things once. Not only... but it was very bland. I was so disappointed in the waitress not mentioning details and the dish itself. Especially for $39 I expected way more. Also, we ordered the grilled meatloaf. We have ordered this dish handfuls of times and it's been delicious with the mashed potatoes and carrots. But they changed the recipe completely! Why fix something not broken? The meatloaf has less flavor, it's not as crispy, it's a whole different shape too. The mashed potatoes aren't even mashed potatoes anymore, it's a potato puck of some sort. I don't understand why this recipe was changed. This was the one thing that kept us returning, that and the creme brûlée. The crème brûlée was still delicious as usual but honestly besides the dessert I would not get any of these dishes again. And with today's experience I'm not sure if I'd return.
