It's in the heart of North Park bustling with shops, cafes, restaurants, and businesses. So needless to say we ordered two banana lattes which were so flavorful and delicious . The vibe is energetic with lots of chatter and energy. So, if you want that energizing environment both with coffee and socializing, "Lazy Eye" is the place to be. You can either drive through or walk up to the counter, which is great if the drive-thru line is long. The staff are AMAZING!! I got a dirty vanilla chai with whole milk, sausage burrito, and pistachio muffin. They were all really good. I really liked the salsa that came with the burrito. But most of all I really liked the staff. So friendly and welcoming. They provide provided treats to my dogs that they loved It's a drive-through but also has a walk up option. When I travel I try to avoid going to the chain coffee establishments and do a chance to the local small businesses in my morning coffee fix. Lazy Eye Coffee has a couple of locations with this one is a very humble setup and the parking lot of a small plaza in the Claremont neighborhood of San Diego This one offers both drive through and walk up options order coffee. Is quite a busy morning so there was a bit of a way since there was only one person working. The staff member was very friendly and despite being overwhelmed with a bunch of orders, she remained calm and was able to get all of our orders as fast as possible I ordered an iced banana bread coffee and it was delicious. Definitely must order if you could stop by this spot. Wife was in need of coffee desperately. She wanted the shop to be in the Claremont Mesa area and desired a banana bread latte. Lazy Eye Coffee to the rescue! In BayHo(wife was like "where the hell are we going?!?") and next to Chef Jun which is becoming our favorite sushi spot. I'm new to the area and was looking for a one stop shop for good tea lattes and a savory breakfast when I stumbled on Lazy Eye. I was immediately intrigued because there were two different vegetarian options for breakfast burritos, as well as several other eats and pastries. I arrived and was stoked to see that it is a walk up kiosk with a drive thru! This is perfect for me as I was running errands and didn't want to get out to order. The barista was so kind and bubbly, and greeted me immediately with compliments and positive energy when I got to the window, making this place feel warm and welcoming. She helped me choose which vegetarian burrito (Soyrizo) and when I ordered a chai latte, recommended the pumpkin one. While she made my drink she talked to me about my day. She also asked if I wanted to add shots to my beverage, so I said yes. My burrito was delicious. It had egg, cheese, potato and soyrizo. It came with red salsa and was a great breakfast! My dirty pumpkin chai latte was also delicious, and didn't have that super sugary taste most chai's tend to have. Ok... the wait is worth it! We chose the drive through and was wondering why it takes a bit but.... It's worth it. Amanda is so kind and charming. The staff are great, the syrups homemade and now for the pastries- on the weekends they carry gluten free cinnamon cake donuts- hands down my favorite. I love this little place! Stumbled upon it while in the area and was so glad I did! Drive up or walk up options, and service is quick! The baristas that I interacted with both times I went were extremely friendly which I really enjoyed. I got a matcha which was delicious!! We are staycationing near by and love to try new coffee places. We popped by with our dog Pippa and the ladies working were lovely. I tried the peanut butter cup latte, hot and it was delish 4.5/5- only because towards the end it was more chocolate tasting to me than peanut butter and I love PB. My husband got the banana bread latte and he was in love 5/5 here. Pippa got a treat and we got a couple of cups as well as a souvenir and one as a gift for my sister in law bc she loves pugs. The banana bread latte however, was the best! The staff said that the syrup and burritos are homemade and the coffee beans are Verve. I had a cappuccino, a well made cappuccino, with all the richness and boldness that one would want, yet followed by a smooth easy to drink appeal. They use Verve coffee roasters from Santa Cruz, CA. which was a first for me. Lazy Eye Coffee is for the most part a drive thru place but they do offer a single seat right outside the walk up window. This coffee shop is such a hidden gem! You either have the option to utilize the drive thru or walk up to the kiosk to order. I ordered the vanilla bean latte and my friend got the banana bread matcha latte. Both were excellent -- you can tell that the syrups are homemade because the espresso and matcha were enhanced with the syrup flavors. Not too sweet and perfectly balanced! Decided to check out a new coffee place this morning as a little treat yourself plus I just love trying new coffee places and new coffees. Lazy eye is off the beaten path but a cute little building and has a drive through! Convenient. The little building makes it a great atmosphere and experience. The barista, Fin (sp?) was super friendly and offered me her recommendations upon request. I ended up going with the vanilla cold foam cold brew. Their coffee is from verve which is ethically sourced. The vanilla cold foam cold brew... the vanilla cold foam is delicious, sweet, which is a nice pairing with the strong cold brew. Overall, the atmosphere, price, service and coffee is awesome! I will def come back and try something new. Maybe a little coffee tailgate party with a friend in the parking lot or a quick drive through experience and take coffee back to the bay for a bay day. read more

Nice lady who works/ own this place. She was the only one working at this little kiosk. I would give it 5 stars but it was on the pricey side. I had a large iced coffee with vanilla syrup and cream and it was $5.50. The large sized was a regular 16 ounces and equivalent to about a Grande size at a retail chain coffee shop. I found that to be a little expensive for iced coffee- could have picked something else with espresso probably for that price, who knows. I would come back to try other stuff! read more
