I am obsessed with Portuguese egg tarts!! Na Tart has a variety of both regular and sunflower (larger and wavy edges) Portuguese-style egg tarts in addition to coffee and matcha drinks. This store leans towards Asian inspired flavors for their desserts and drinks. Salty boy - 5/5, I love savory flavors! The pork floss, seaweed bits, and chewy filling were really interesting and tasty. Not traditional, but a fun fusion! Crème brûlée- 5/5, very sweet but that's to be expected with the creme bruleed top. Really good and custardy! OG - 4/5, they really got the crunchy texture down for the dough! I wish the filling were a bit sweeter, but very good dessert overall! Chocolate - 4/5, very rich and fudgey. The chocolate crispy pearls were a fun texture! But just a little too sweet.

Finallyyyy got to try this place!! They sell so many different types of egg tarts and all of them look amazing. I tried the ube cheese and classic Portuguese egg tarts and both were so good. Neither of them was too sweet which was great. I also got the matcha mango sticky rice drink with no sugar and the no sugar added was a good call because the drink itself was already sweet! It was really great. The service was very helpful and quick. I loved that they had seating outside with shade, it's a cute place to meetup with friends. There's only a couple tables though as a heads up. The only thing is that the egg tarts are pretty expensive, a box of 6 is around $24. But I'd still recommend this place to anyone looking to treat themselves!

So glad a dessert shop specializing in egg tarts made its way to San Diego! They have so many flavors to choose from! What I order: -original Portuguese -taro -salty boy (salty pork floss w/ bbq seaweed flakes -durian -Nutella banana -pandan mango sticky rice (limited series) The egg tart itself is so good! The perfect flaky crust and egg custard! The Durian flavor is my favorite! Plenty of parking , they have an outdoor patio area to enjoy your desserts!

Omg yaya a dessert place in San Diego specializing in egg tarts! I grew up eating egg tarts, so it's one of my comfort desserts. We tried 4 different flavors of their sunflower egg tarts, and all were solid. The crusts were sooo crispy and flakey and buttery. The corn cheese sunflower tart was probably my favorite flavor we tried. I'm a sucker for savory things and I think the salty flavors really worked with this tart. The original sunflower tart was my second favorite. It was classic, yummy, not too sweet. The matcha creme brulee one had a strong pleasant matcha flavor. It was a little bit too sweet for me though, definitely good for sharing. The tiramisu one was my least favorite because of how sweet it was. It was still decent tho! The slight bitterness of the cocoa powder did help balance out some of the sweetness tho. If you have a super big sweet tooth, I'd recommend this one! No seating inside unfortunately. Service was quick, they aren't very busy.

A great spot if you're craving Asian-style egg tarts with a creative twist. The ingredients taste high-quality, and the flavor variety keeps things interesting. The space is a bit small and can get crowded, so I highly recommend ordering ahead online to skip the wait. I grabbed a mixed box to try a few different flavors: Original Portuguese Egg Tart: The classic. The crust is exceptionally flaky and buttery. The real highlight for me was the custard--it was silky and, most importantly, not overwhelmingly sweet. I usually find most desserts way too sugary, but this was balanced perfectly. Salty Boy Tart: This one is a standout if you prefer savory over sweet. It's layered with a housemade milky mochi base, dried pork floss, and BBQ seaweed flakes. The salty, umami elements cut through the richness of the pastry beautifully, making it a really unique bite. Dubai Chocolate Sunflower Tart: This is their take on the viral Dubai chocolate trend. It's very rich and visually impressive. It definitely leans sweeter than the other tarts, which isn't always my preference, but the crunchy textural contrast makes it a fun, indulgent treat to split with a friend.

We stopped by after a morning pickleball session. They were the perfect snack! We had the original with a buttery taste and flaky crust. The ube was delicious and not too powerful on the ube flavor. The passion fruit fizz was just the right amount of sweetness. The worker had recommended it as a refreshing drink and did not disappoint. They had seating outside in a little patio area that was shaded. They do not have seating inside the building. They also have a photo area which was pretty cool!

The egg tarts flavors here are fun and innovative, and every one I tried was a hit! My favorite was probably the crème brûlée. I personally am not a huge fan of how crispy and crumbly the crust was here, but it really is all personal preference as my friends loved it. It was almost like a croissant how flaky the crust was. The fillings were still really yummy though. The only knock was that the strawberry matcha we got was on the watery side, didn't match the level of execution compared to the egg tarts. The lady working the front counter was very nice and patient as my friends and I discussed which 6 flavors for the box.

Vibe/Interior The moment you walk through the door, you are greeted by the unmistakable aroma of butter. A major highlight is the display case where you can see every single flavor option clearly laid out. Standouts The cheese & corn tart was the absolute star of the show. Service You place your order right at the counter, and the staff adds the final touches based on your specific selection. Parking There are a few designated spots explicitly reserved for Na Tart customers Pro Tips To enjoy these at their absolute best, make sure to eat them within 48 hours for peak freshness. If you are taking them to go, definitely pay attention to their specific heating instructions to replicate that perfect, fresh-out-of-the-oven texture at home.

My only concern about this place is that its extremely overpriced for 1 egg tart at 5$. With that being said, these are the best tarts I've had in southern California. Today I had the egg tart affogato minus the affogato. Lol. Im allergic to coffee so I had them replace it with milk. The workers are so nice and very accommodating. Its tiny in here but they look like they're doing very well. It seems most of their pastries were sold out when I went. The place is small so you cant sit inside, but there are plenty of chairs outside here and there. I really loved the egg tart here. It had a real egg flavor and it was so flaky. A very perfect texture for me. The ice cream was also fantastic. I truly enjoyed my order.

Na Tart does make tasty tarts, though they come at a steep price. I visited close to closing, so there were not many flavors left. Even so, I was impressed by the variety of fillings compared to more traditional styles. There were also combo options advertised on the menu board that paired tarts with drinks. I chose the two tart and drink combo, opting for crème brûlée tarts and a strawberry matcha. The crème brûlée tarts were filled generously with rich custard and had a light torched sugar layer on top. The crust was excellent and easily one of my favorite executions of an egg tart. It stayed flaky even after I waited to eat them at home. The strawberry matcha, however, was one of the worst I have had. I watched it being made, and it was almost entirely milk with only a small amount of matcha added. It ended up tasting like plain milk with a faint hint of matcha. While I was waiting, another customer even returned a taro drink for being poorly made. I would stick to the tarts, though they are definitely a splurge. I would avoid the drinks altogether and just treat the tarts as an occasional indulgence.

Tasty egg tarts! Be ready to smell butter when you go in and to smell like butter when you leave. If you're an egg tart fan, definitely check this place out. Each tart is about $4-4.50, depending on what you get and they even have mix and match boxes. To me, their pastry does stand out from the competition ... super flakey, crispy, and lots of layers. We tried their ube, taro, and original, and I have to say, the original was our favorite. Next time we stop by, I'll have to ask if they can do their ube or taro topping on their original al vs their respective base tarts. The mozzarella for the ube didn't do anything for me, and the mochi for the taro didn't allow the egg custard part to shine. Overall, great place to treat someone or yourself to something a bit more special than your normal Asian chain egg tarts.

Tried Natart recently and it was a fun experience, especially if you like trying different flavors. They have a really wide variety ube, espresso, durian, brulee, and a lot more so there's something for everyone depending on your taste. We ordered the 4-piece blind box (you have to get that online) for $9.99, which was actually pretty exciting since you don't know what you're going to get. We also got the 6-piece classic egg tart set for $20. Personally, I like the classic egg tart better, it's simple not overly sweet. We also tried the tiramisu latte. It was good, but a bit on the sweeter side for me, so I probably wouldn't get that every time. Downside is the price it's a little expensive for what it is. But as a treat once in a while, I think it's worth trying, especially if you're curious about all the different flavors.
