This quaint and unassuming coffee shop delivered spectacularly. Located in a really small strip mall, we were happy to get a parking space in the parking lot. Walking in, it had a tropical safari theme. It's not a big place but just enough for a few small tables and displays. I ordered at the register and the girl that helped us was super nice. She made great suggestions on the coffees. We tried their Latte with oat milk and the Maple nut latte. We also tried their pistachio-apricot scone. The lattes were excellent! Great, strong coffee flavor but with no bitterness. It was really smooth. And the scone? Loved it! Great taste and texture. Perfect crumb. Oh how I wish this place was in North County. Usually so good, it's been my favorite place for years and years growing up in Clairemont. They either changed the espresso or got new employees that are not making the drinks correctly. Really noticed it in the last few months. Cold brew is very bland and not as strong as it used to be. Water with a hint of coffee. Didn't even finish it last time and went to get an energy drink. I adore this place and their monthly menu is something me and my boyfriend look so forward to so I'd hate to see it go downhill. Hoping the owner sees this and will try to hone in on what's going on! My friend and I checked out a different coffee shop each week and this one has some great themed drinks. It's tucked away in a outdoor shopping area kind of like a strip mall but not really. It's a very simple little coffee shop with great drinks. We had no problem getting a seat inside and I think there was a few out seats as well. Free parking right in front and there's also free street parking. The staff was friendly. There's also one little section of the shop where they have some merch for sale. Stickers cups shirts etc. They also have a little mini free giving library in the shop which I think is a really good idea. So if you want to hang out grab a book and enjoy your cup of coffee. I got one of the special drinks it was a Reese's coffee of some sort. My friend and I both really liked mine. Prices were decent. Small coffee shop. Very cute and comfortable. We went there for an açaí bowl based on a 4.5 rating on help. It was eight minutes away from Mission Bay high school, which is not very far. There's not a ton of parking, but it's sufficient for a small strip mall. Where is a donut shop, a smoke shop, and a Roberto's taco shop. My wife got a breakfast burrito and we split the large beef honey bowl. I think it was called. I also got a oat milk latte with vanilla and caramel. Everything was really good. The only improvement that I could suggest is that the açai was not close to frozen. It was relatively soft and fluid. I prefer it more hard like sorbet or ice cream. Copy was super good, açai bowl was super good. I just would've liked it more frozen. That's the only improvement I could suggest. Other than that, maybe we caught them on a busy time or where the açaí was thawed out more. If it was more frozen, it would've been perfect! A couple girlfriends and I stopped by this cafe for a quick bite and drink! It's in a small plaza, there are a few spots in the lot and on the street. The cafe itself is very small but there are tables and chairs available that can seat up to four people. Staff were all welcoming and sweet! The drinks are delicious! Parking lot was hard to get to due to the street construction. When we came into the store it has a decent amount of space for seating. There were even some people working or studying. The barista was nice and took orders and finished very quickly. My daughter both got iced matcha lattes from the menu and thought it was just okay. My daughter said it tastes like Coffee Bean's matcha latte in that it's more like a light green tea flavor with a lot of white chocolate taste. This is a really cute little spot in Clairemont, though parking can be tricky if the lot is full. There was a short line to order, which makes sense for the weekend. The staff was warm and friendly, and I appreciated that they offer "for here" cups. Their bagel selection looked amazing, and it's definitely a nice place to study or work. The only downside was how noisy it was--not from the customers, but from the baristas preparing drinks. Hopefully that's something they can improve on. read more

They have a bathroom in the back for customers only. Menu is pretty good. They offer acai bowls, smoothies, and bagels. Since they were out of the everything, I got the jalapeno cheese with cream cheese. They toasted it just perfectly. The Queen Bee latte (with honey and cinnamon) was excellent. This might be my go-to drink in San Diego. The barista was friendly. I think this might be a nice spot to do work or read a book. Don't mind the bite taken out of the bagel, it's good but I am also a cr cheese lover. This didn't cut it. I want cr cheese on my entire bagel. However, the bagel was really good. I am a very service oriented shopper. The reviews talk about how wonderful the employees are. I am not getting that vibe it was a turn and burn vibe. Call out could not be heard for order. If they used my name like most that would help. Overall this place is good but you have to be ok with it taking a really really long time. It can get crowded so it's annoying, one cup of coffee can have you standing forever . What a festive place! We came during Halloween so they have some Halloween drink specials. I got the Toasty Ghosty and as a sweet tooth, loved it! I would've wanted even more marshmallow hehe. Aside from coffee and tea, they sell many other types of bottled drinks (energy, soda, lemonade, etc). They also sell food, snacks, and ice cream but we didn't buy any this time. There's lots of tables, but it might not be good if you're a large group (although, you could combine tables if they're available). There's a table with some toys and reading books for little kids. The coffee is really good and the workers are usually super nice but I had paid 4 vanilla cold foam & wasnt given it today.
