Ok, the food is great. I have ordered pizzas, paninis, focaccias, all great! But tonight i am giving 3 stars because of the horrible phone manners this girl had. So i ordered two gourmet Strombolis, knowing they would cost $10 each. When the girl on the phone told me my total was $15. Knowing the order was wrong the girl is insisting she is right. Tells me very rudely to wait for a manager. Now im on hold and i can hear everything.. Shes telling her manager that im "freaking out" and she still insisting she is right. Well long story short she put my order in as one Stromboli and one roll. The roll is basically a smaller version of a Stromboli, but i have mouths to feed! So my message to them is to hire people who can take an order correctly. Recently moved to Rutherford and this has become a go-to pizza spot. I ordered from here on my first day in town, a few pizzas for all my friends who helped me move. They annihilated the margarita pizza before i could even get a slice. My wife and I continued to order from them on occasion and everything has been top notch. Recently ordered a few sandwiches and confirmed this place is the best in the area. i love that they offer online ordering. Ordered here last night. Chicken parm , plain pie and zeppoles. Chicken parm was soggy and deff didnt have enough cheese and their choice of cheese is my biggest issue! The cheese on our pie wasnt even melted. It was like plastic cheese. Our zeppoles idk why we always get them but they get hard SO quick! Pretty disappointing, $30 down drain. read more

Let me start off by saying i like the food at this restaurant. However, there was a problem with my delivery yesterday. My order included chicken tenders and French fries. So the problem is the delivery container is not a good one. I think you should use a different one. Here is the reason, when you put hot food, like fried foods inside those plastic containers and close the lid it creates steam inside. So the food becomes wet. So those nice crispy fried foods are all soggy like wilted lettuce. Think about it? McDonald's, Wendy's and Berger King have open containers on their fried foods so the syeam can escape. I ordered per the app for delivery. My order was delivered to wrong location and then when I got the food. It wasn't what I ordered and was cold. I ordered per the online app a philly cheese steak pizza and chicken salad. I ended up with a chicken salad and philly cheese steak sandwhich. I got no forks, knives, spoons or anything to even eat the salad. I called to tell then what happened and the guy only would say he would give free pizza next time to whomever lives at the delivery address. I asked him so you're going to give everyone here at this hotel free pizza as no one lives here. He said ok I'll credit your card. All while this was happening he was rushing me off the phone stating he was very busy and short drivers and people for the day. I ordered the pizzas-dillas wanting just the cheeses so I said vegetarian, but they gave me them with broccoli, tomatoes, peppers, onions, mushrooms, and olives along with the cheeses, so I'd suggest saying "just the cheeses". They do your basic cheese pizza, but the joy is in the Margherita: a basic sauce made of little more than crushed tomatoes and garlic, fresh whole milk mozzarella cheese (the very white kind that comes in water, but they do dry it out here) and topped with fresh basil. After I ordered , I decided to read the reviews and got really disappointed. Well here's my own review... 1st, the person who answered the phone was very nice so no complaints there! The delivery however took over an hour so at this point I was already irritated but the woman that delivered our food was super nice so that made a difference. Now with the food... The pizza was soggy and cold and it didn't help that the crust was super thin even though we said regular crust! Had a margharita pizza and rustico panini. the pizza came out at a normal time and had good flavor. the Panini was awesome. Could taste all the different items ingrediants in the panini. The lettuce was warm and wilted, the dressing tasted more like ranch than Cesar and the chicken was a little dry. I will never order a salad from here again. 1st time trying them. Figured brickoven, crispy crust unlike other pizza place we have used in past. Disappointed with the pizza it was tasty but doughy, it was simply to thick of dough. If it was thinner crust it would have been spot on. Also ordered fried ravioli & meatballs which were very good. I work for the retail sector and am familiar with training for our own stores. We train our employees to treat customers with respect at all times and we have trained the staff to take turns if they feel overwhelmed, but our motto is firm, all customers are respected. I don't know why I keep ordering from here. The food is mediocre and the delivery is alwaaaayyyys LATE. I ordered via grub hub tonight and the estimated delivery time was 8:20-8:30pm. My food did not arrive until 9:04pm. This is unacceptable. I ordered two appetizers and a small pizza with a dessert. I don't think it take 1.5 hours for that and I literally live down the road, I can walk there in ten minutes. The food was also lukewarm by this point. I had an order of mozzarella sticks, since when are they served with buffalo sauce instead of the usual marinara??
