Great place to go to for desserts. Their twisters and banana split sundaes are really good. They also have burgers and chili dogs and other foods to eat but I usually stop by there when I want something fattening. WARNING.. do not go there if you're on a diet! read more

I do not like This fosters freeze .. The korean gal that works the register is a real b@$#% and she over charges and doesn't try to make it right when you catch her . The frys are soggy and gross and to top it off if u order a large fry you get a large fry bag that's only about a third of the way full . If I pay for a large fry I want a large fry . The burger wasn't very good either I asked for it with no sauce and it was covered with sauce . If u ask me it's worse then burger king or mcdonalds . read more

I love the vanilla ice cream from the Fosters Freeze chain which is the reason I keep coming back. However, this location seems to care not about customer satisfaction nor quality as they are so cheap when it comes to portions and execution. Pathetic. One of the last few remaining Foster's Freeze. Nothing like a classic soft-serve vanilla dip to take you back to your childhood. I suppose it also helps that this place looks like it hasn't been updated in 30 years and smells like a county fair. This place still has the classic walk-up window to place an order from outside. The deserts and deep fry are very good but the burgers are horrible! I ordered the Big Double burger. The yellow American cheese is good but the white cheese, don't know what it is but its awful! DONT put the cheese between the hot off the grill patties because it turns into a runny liquid mess. Lose the purple onions and use yellow or white like every other burger joint. The lettuce was this 1" thick white husk of ruffage that I wouldn't give to my turtle. Try some seasoning on those plain boring,patties (lawrys seasoned salt) or (montreal steak). This burger came with bacon that was a thin as paper and about a 1/2" wide by 2" long! If you order the smallest kids burger they have, the patties are the same size as the ones on my "Big Double" just x2. Pickles, or should I say pickle. One tiny slice! The Bun, was actually pretty good. What ever happened to mustard and ketchup on a burger. The Big Double tasted like 2 pieces of bread with a scoop of lard with some reptile lettuce. Foster's Freeze Gave Me Crippling Depression. When I went to Foster's freeze to try and rid myself of my dread I feel on the daily, I found nothing more than emotional pain. I walked through the door and asked for a vanilla milkshake. I waited quite patiently at the window when I finally got it. Once I got it, I noticed little drops of red residue covering the top. I said I didn't want a strawberry milkshake, and the dumb bimbo at the counter (who i presumed to be the manager) didn't understand what I was talking about. After deep examination and studying with my microscope, I deduced that it was type A blood with traces of STD. It was BLOOD!!!!! I am never coming back. read more

Oreos in oreo shake are the generic Hydrox cookie knock off. It was not fudge-covered, as pictured. Plus they were stale. Please don't serve old ingredients to your customers. read more

The ice cream is amazing and cheep. The blended milkshake things are way expensive though. The people who work there sometimes overcharge. Still great ice cream. Haven't tried the food though. read more

Summary with two words: Extremely disappointing! I ordered a "twister" with M&Ms and when I received it I was surprised to see that the cup was filled to only about two thirds. There were about 10 mini M&Ms and they were not even mixed in the ice cream! The small cup cost $5.50 and it wasn't nearly worth it. When I compared the picture in the menu which was overflowing I couldn't believe it. This place make me believe the entire operation uses the most minimal ingredients and servings. So my mom wants to go to Trader Joe's and it's super hot out, so she requests that we stop en route and get a cool treat. Foster's Freeze pops into mind, and I hope they have those chocolate dipped vanilla soft serves that I only used to get on our way to Yosemite, maybe in Placerville. We drive up and there are people sitting outside, on what I think are folding chairs. There really aren't any outdoor seating areas. I order through the window a medium cone (less than $3) for us to share (don't want to overdo the sweets!). It's really hot, so we decide to eat it inside. It's like time as stood still... the blank walls look original. The menu does look a little pricey for burgers. The ice cream was a bit melty, but it hit the spot. We exit, and a different set of people are enjoying their ice cream on the chairs. Then we went to Trader Joe's and I noticed the new Tutti Frutti next door - darn it!! I LOVE this Fosters Freeze! I just had a birthday party for My Mom here ( I know this may sound cheesy, to have a party for your Mom at Foster's, but we had some history- growing up we traveled all over the State camping and never failed to stop when we fund a Foster's Freeze, my Mom LOVES soft serve ice cream). The manger and the staff we very welcoming.They allowed us to bring in whatever decorations we wanted to make it special( white tablecloths, streamers, balloons, etc) , they helped make it a great surprise, they kept a running tab so it was easy to treat the family to dinner and ice cream (which was great!). My Mom says it was her favorite Birthday Party ever! read more

The service at this place is lousy. They don't even fill the cup all the way with ice cream, our cup was 1/3 empty. When we asked the employee about it she just blew us off. It was a joke, and the marshmallows were stale. Overall, just a terrible place and we will not go back. read more

This location leaves much to be desired. The inside is very, very hot...no air conditioning here. My complaint is with the way the prices that are listed seem to magically increase with no explanation from the employee. I ordered 2 small soft serve ( chocolate dipped ) cones. The employee gave me a receipt that had nothing to do with my order, she was adding numbers together on a scrap of paper and came up with a few cents under $7.00! She over charged me around a dollar ( and yes I know the chocolate dip is extra) and when I asked her she just acted very confused. Although I am not talking about a lot of money it is unfortunate that this establishment has to "pad" their customers receipts...tacky to say the least. Obviously I would never return to this location, don't waste your money here! There are so many other places offering ice cream/ regular and soft serve for around the same price. read more

It took 45 mins. to get the worst hot dog Ive ever had! Terrible service, terrible food.
