If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband and I came in for dinner. We ordered the deviled eggs, bbq ranch salad, and burger. The burger was good no issues there. The rest of the experience DISASTROUS!! There were several issues with rest of our meal and overall experience. The first issue was we ordered deviled eggs and it came with topped bacon. Although, when it came to our table, the eggs were not topped with anything. I was so hungry. I didn't care and ate it anyway. We decided not to say anything about it, but it was irritating. Then as our meal came, something seemed off with the salad. Then it hit me, it was missing items. When I ordered the salad I asked for no red onion and was given a salad with no red onion, however it also was missing the crispy onion, as listed on the menu. I also noticed the cucumbers as listed on the menu, were missing. We said something about it to our waiter. The waiter said oh I didn't think it came with it and walked away. He said he'll get it for us as well. He walked away to get information and he took a while. A man came out with the waiter and said that the menu item didn't come with cucumber or crispy onion on it . Perplexed, I asked I said let me show you on your website. It says it does. The man then told me that the menu on the website was incorrect. I said fine bring me the menu that I ordered from. He brings me a menu and the ingredients didn't list the cucumber or crispy onion. I was so sold on the fact that it had the crispy onions and cucumber. It was one of the reasons I got a salad over a burger, but I was annoyed. I just let it go. I had to go to the bathroom so as I walked to the bathroom, I walked passed the trash can by the server station and noticed the menu I had ordered from thrown in the trash. I was so angry that this man knew he made a mistake lied about it and did nothing to fix the issue. I will never eat there again. It is beyond unprofessional of somebody to do this or do something to fix the problem. I wasn't looking for a handout, but the acknowledgment would've been nice and shown customer service instead they made me question, authenticity and transparency of this establishment and I will never go back. read more

Pretty good experience. Took a group of college students and they really enjoyed this restaurant. Fun drink options and a large variety of meal choices. Kids favorites were the hot chicken and the Mac n cheese. Service was good and it was a busy Saturday night. Live music was fun too! Well worth a visit. read more

My family and I tried Founding Brothers in Elkton and while the space is nice and our waitress was pleasant, the experience overall was disappointing. The catfish was tasty, the pizza, shrimp and grits decent, and the free sample of pulled pork mac & cheese was a nice surprise. Unfortunately, the kitchen was extremely slow even though the restaurant was nearly empty, and we could hear yelling and profanity coming from the kitchen not exactly family friendly when you have young children with you. The music was skipping like a scratched CD, which got distracting after a while. They do offer Wi-Fi, but you have to ask for the password not a problem, just something to note. The pricing also felt unreasonable. We asked about cornbread and were told it would be around a dollar, but when the waitress came back, she said it was actually $6 for a single very small muffin-sized piece, so we declined. I was also charged $1 for a side of Tabasco hot sauce without being told in advance, and cheese for the shrimp & grits was an extra charge too. These "nickel-and-dime" charges left a bad impression. Overall, the food was decent and the staff was kind, but the long waits, unprofessional kitchen behavior, and overpriced add-ons make it hard to recommend until they work out the kinks. read more

Fun atmosphere at this new restaurant on Main Street. Country music/southern cooking theme. Staff was friendly and attentive. Played older country music when we were there (think the 90's early 2000's) and has a small stage where there will be live music on weekends. Nicely decorated with guitars, album covers, cowboy hats, etc. We had the Rise & Shine Burger with fries (waffle fries, nicely seasoned and crunchy) and the Smokey Pulled Pork Sandwich with mac & cheese. Mac & cheese was spicy, had chopped peppers--probably jalapeno peppers. Would have liked it better without. Enjoyed the rest of the meal. Worth a visit. read more

We went off of a last min dinner putting with family, we seen a lot of our culture inside and was like " you know what this may be a good spot" they seemed to enjoy themselves etc. off the rip our male waitress seemed to have a attitude with us when ordering. He kept having us basically yell our order out to him, barely checked on our table , they charged us for 6 people which when it's " 6 or more " they charge us for that ( keep in mind when I called and asked all those questions the lady stated no to this question in particular " many red flags !!! We should have left when they sat infront of us and talked about another black family after that family paid in full and TIPPED VERY WELL !! we ordered their Korean bbq wings ( TRASH ) it taste as if someone just make a cinnamon and water paste rub for wings, we sent them back after only licking the sauce didn't eat the wings and we were told " if we make new ones you'll have to pay for all of them " which was very confusing! On top of that our waiter literally lied to our faces he stated he watched the cooks re do them not knowing we had pictures and videos of the wings we sent back. They literally sent out the same wings and lied and said it's a new batch with Tennessee bbq on them. I WATCHED THE WAITER THE WHOLE TIME AND RECORDED THE WHOLE THING! the manager then came out and tried to go with the lies him and the waiter came up with before we denied his first request of charging us for 30 wings. At this point the own manager stated " I don't like the Korean bbq myself " I have that on recording !we asked to be charged for what was ate and was ready to go.
