I ordered your ube cake as a PURE Filipino , I can assure you that the "ube" cake, ain't no ube…read more Its some knock off trashy ass taro from temu, Im guessing its watered down 95% water and the other 5 as ube cuz it looks pale ASF. Im pretty sure its actually purple food coloring and not actual ube, the only reason why I'm not placing a 1 star is because the first time I bought a cake from this place, it was actually good (some coffee cake). This bakery made decent cakes till I tried YOUR UBE CAKE. If you want to copy trends and mix asian culture into your goods, then DO IT PROPERLY, or at least research on how to make ube. Try making ube jam instead and place it in the cake, that would taste WAY better. Also the yellow icy part inside the cake would've been delightful if it was cheese and not some random yellow piss ice. Ube is commonly topped with cheese, this bakery really missed the opportunity to actually be culturally on point. So much for Ube getting mainstream if none of these businesses get it right anyway. They always mess up asian cuisines and culture by making their "own version". Dont disrespect our ube broski (I can feel/taste the ube on the paste but it just isnt enough, it needs more) (update, i take it back. Tried it in the morning where it wasn't as cold. It was actually soft and spongy, the ube taste was stronger and it was quite delectable. Keep up the good work, i see room for improvement though)

I got a cheese bread for about $3 and a tuna sandwich for $5! You can order your drinks at the kiosk or at the counter. And you can bring your items to the counter for them to ring up. The process was pretty easy. It's a nice open space for grabbing a drink and yummy treat. There is no wifi however so it's not the best place to work for the day. Service: Self serve and then pay at the counter Drinks: Lots of different options here Wifi: Unfortunately they don't have this. Parking: There's a small lot in front and signs for parking in the back. Outdoor Seating: None

They do have teas for those who do not drink coffee…read more The offer pastries but I feel it may not really be utilized since the location is in the bakery area of Whole Foods. The customer service was good, the staff were friendly. This would be a nice stop after shopper if you just want to sit down for a brief to enjoy coffee and a snack. The oolong Milky tea was what I chose, it was not what I thought it was, it was just a regular tea. The New Ice coffee was okay, not really a special flair to it. The are several other options that I would try next time I visit.

Despite the name, none of the locations are actual trucks, but they are very cute bright yellow brick and mortar locations. I got the first coffee listed on the menu. The New Orleans Iced Coffee with Chicory. Chicory is a root, that is very popular to get in coffee in New Orleans. First, I love the tiny ice cubes used in this coffee. Why doesn't every single coffee shop offer the tiny ice cubes? They keep your drink cold, while they don't take a ton of volume away from your coffee! I love the chicory flavor of this coffee! It's naturally nutty and a tiny bit chocolatey without any syrups. This area at Whole Foods has some yellow bar stools for seating options. If I was in the area I would keep an eye out for French Truck Coffee.

I was considering going there for high tea, but after looking at the pictures I changed my mind…read more One review said it was a very relaxing atmosphere and I think it's about the last place for atmosphere or relaxing. Evidently these people have not been to the Windsor Court downtown for high tea. This seems to be a high end sandwich shop. You have no real crab meat there. It's all imitation crab meat. Your food for the high tea seems skimpy. The decorations are very tacky. You have no individual tables in small intimate settings. Instead it's booth. The place is noisy. You can hear other people's conversation and dishes clanking. It's just awful. Advertise this place as a sandwich and lunch restaurant, not a tea palace. If you want to see what it should really look like if it's a tea palace, treat yourself to tea at the Windsor Court and see how that's done. You are far from that. Oh and one more thing. That bright ceiling light gives the ambiance of a cafeteria. Sorry to be so harsh, but that's my take. Very much a Metarie revive.

I come back frequently and this is the first place I want to visit. The food is refreshing. Not heavy. Perfect portions and perfectly priced. We usually get sandwiches, wings, and we have tried a few of their different drinks and all are delicious. The service is top tier. They are so friendly and accommodating. They always make me feel welcome and appreciated. The place is beautifully decorated and there is so much to look at. It's fancy but also inviting and fun. Recently we celebrated a graduation and birthday and they were able to accommodate all 26 of us. Everyone ordered food and a beverage and it was more than affordable. I can't wait to come back later this month.

I decided to try the miso udon carbonara as well since they announced it as a regular menu item. It's so buttery and flavorful, and the udon noodles are perfect. First, one of the employees gave my young child an attitude, which was completely unnecessary. Then, instead of politely handing us our ice cream , he tossed the cup onto the counter. It was rude and unprofessional. Customer service matters just as much as the food. A smile and a little kindness go a long way, especially when interacting with families. Based on this experience, we won't be returning. I hope management addresses the customer service, because one employee can completely change the atmosphere of an otherwise great business.
