Peach pale ale
Brian K.

I've always been a fan of Jackrabbit Brewing Company. Their beers are legit and they have a great peach pale ale! Their tasting room is in a commercial area of West Sacramento, but don't let that fool you. It's plenty comfortable inside. It's clean, spacious, and dimly lit which I think makes it more relaxing. They have a big bar, bigger selecting of beer. The bartenders are friendly, are knowledgeable about the beers, and will give you samples. It's a great place!

I have only come here for their " buy nothing event". I will say I had a great experience and want to come back again. Considering the small space this place gets packs & busy but everyone does a really good job of staying organized, taking their things, and being mindful of one another. Indoors they have a cute bar area and from my experience the employee's were super nice & welcoming to those coming to the buy nothing event. If youre coming here outside of the event the place is cozy & lots of parking!

Small private parking lot, otherwise street parking along Terminal x Port. PBS KVIE Trivia night was held at Jackrabbit Brewing on Thursday, 7/24 at 6:30 PM. If you reserved in advance on Eventbrite (free admission), you also received a PBS Nerd Pint Glass at check-in. This was mainly science-themed since it was hosted by one of the senior producers of NOVA, but tested knowledge on PBS classics, pop culture, and general science. There were questions from PBS Kids (Sesame Street, Mr. Roger's Neighborhood, The Magic School Bus, Arthur, Daniel Tiger), Masterpiece (Downton Abbey, All Creatures Great and Small, Call the Midwife), NOVA, Nature, America's Heartland, etc. There was also a raffle at the end for three prizes: Bob Ross gift basket/set, Pati Jinich gift basket/set, or a Rick Steves gift basket/set. The food truck onsite that night was Old Coyote (Pupusas), and seating was first come, first served. My team of 5 sat outside on the patio, but speakers were set up so everyone could hear the trivia questions, and a few of my crew sipped on some brews, including a peanut butter [chocolate?] stout too. I might return on Jackrabbit's regular trivia night, Wednesdays!

First time here and glad we came! Did the beer flight and had the bartender choose the best light beers and IPAs she did a great job! All The lighter beers were so easy to drink. The IPAs were all decent according to the wife. Best thing is that it is dog friendly and my dog loved being with us.

Love the Asian and bold flavors here such as the pistachio and rice lager! Plenty of parking and space for groups, families, friends or dogs.

Had a 150+ HH for our state staff and consultants- this was a huge hit - plenty of room for trivia night that was hosted - lots of beer choices - I got a cider. A food truck was also on sight for our event - highly recommended as they can handle late crowds quickly and efficiently!

The staff here are so amazing and so nice and helpful and friendly. The food services they have are really good as well. The brewery is always clean and so are the bathrooms. We will definitely be coming back here for sure and recommending this brewery to friends and family and they have more then just beer on tap they have seltzer and sodas and extra also as well. I started coming here a few days ago and it's so worth it. And their merchandise is super good quality and very affordable as well. If you haven't been here yet check it out.

The Cherry Pie Sour from Jackrabbit Brewing Company!
Alden C.

Steve and myself recently had a very good sour from Jackrabbit Brewing Company. The name f the beer was the Cherry Pie Sour. As Iave mentioned in other reviews sometimes I have concerns with sours being too sweet. But this one wasn't all. In fact it had a really good tatness toi it. Other flavor features to find with this very refreshing beer besides tart is cherry, fruitiness and some acidic presence. It is very light bodied which is nice. Great start with trying beer from Jackrabbit!

We sought this place out after having a pint out of a can in Yosemite. We were impressed so had to swing by when we were in the area. First... beer (5): This of course is what brought us here and they didn't disappoint. Great selection from belgians to lagers to ales to sours. We had a couple flights to get a chance to try the most and honestly, none disappointed. Thats the mark of a great brewer! I always get a pint of my favorite which was the Alpha Mosaic DIPA. I even took a 4 pack of that home. Solid brew! Snacks (4): Gotta have snacks with beer so you can drink MORE! They had a food truck when we went. It was the To Do taco truck. We tried their street tacos and their Tacodilla which is basically a taco with crusted cheese. They were pricey but delicious and went well with our flights. Guest Brews (5): When we got there I was excited to see another sign saying Onibi Beer! I thought another taproom? Awesome! Apparently its just another brewery that has their brews on tap at Jackrabbit. We did get to try a few of theirs and we were blown away! Amazing brews! The standout for us was their Tatarimoke black lager. Amazing flavor and body. I was amazed it was a lager! Yep, we took their last 4-pack home with us. Beertender (3): We've been to a LOT of breweries and taprooms and almost always I have nothing but good things to say about the beertenders. They're generally knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, you know, just what you expect from the beer community. I honestly was unimpressed here which is sad. He wasn't really that busy but I felt like I just didn't want to order from him. Not really friendly or helpful. Maybe just had a bad day but the beer community has a specific vibe to it that we enjoy and he did not contribute to that joy. Just sayin... this was our experience. Overall, great taproom! Come for the beers and enjoy. Cheers!

Bored at home and thought let's try something new so I suggested to my partner let's try a new brewery. We came to jackrabbit and really enjoyed our time there. They have a wide selection of beers and sours; you can try before you buy, customer service was really friendly & knowledgeable, and the overall vibe was chilled. We showed up just as a painting and sipping event was wrapping up, looked fun and would consider trying it in the future. The overall atmosphere is industrial but they do have some tv screens for sports. Will for sure be back to try it again.

Jackrabbit always has a great selection of beer especially sours but it is always hard to choose. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside. We like to enjoy the outdoor area for some fresh air and a little quieter. They are dog friendly with lots of grass out front.

Ask the Community - Jackrabbit Brewing Company

Do they serve Onibi beer on tap? Or do they sell Onibi beer for retail?

Yes and yes. They have several Onibi taps and also sell the cans. Just started about a week or so ago.

They had five different West Coast IPAs on tap, so naturally I had to order a sampler flight. Every pour was crisp, flavorful, and exactly what an IPA lover hopes for. The space itself has a very open and welcoming atmosphere. On the other side of the venue, there was even a wine tasting area for the wine enthusiasts in the group, which made it feel like there was something for everyone. There's plenty of room for kids to run around, a food truck outside for anyone looking for a bite, and an overall laid back environment that makes it easy to spend a few hours there. Great drinks, great atmosphere, and genuinely a fantastic spot for the whole family.

Suffice it to say, if I lived in Sac I'd be a regular. The space is as a warehouse feeling, beer bar on one side and wine bar on the other. In between their is ample seating, including in high tops and regular tables. There are several picnic tables outside as well. There is also a collection of games that you can borrow and a dartboard. The decor was on point with the vibe of the place. Overall, a great place to come and chill by yourself or to party with friends. It was a pretty slow day, the service was courteous and efficient. I'm a bit biased due to my years in the industry, and then a place like this I would expect bartenders to introduce themselves and have a little banter to try to build up a regulars crowd. I got a hazy, I forgot the name. It had the hoppiness and citrus flavor that was looking for. The rest of my group bloggers and a kolsch. I texted a friend who lives in Sac about this place and it turns out they are regulars there and go to many of their events.

For drinks, they have 24 taps plus wine, kombucha, cider, and hop water, so there's something for everyone. The bartender explained the Lemon Aioli really sets the sandwich off and he's wasn't lying! The Aioli has a nice lemon/zest kick. It drips so watch ya shirt . Mushroom was soft to the bite, tomato, lettuce and onion were all fresh. The fries were decent, good crisp and cooked well. I also had the "Beer Ish" which is a non alcoholic beer. Not bad at all! $5 for 16oz. I had two. Total bill was $28. Sandwich and fries is $16.95 I believe. Good price for a great sanchwhich! It was a warm day, but the evening was starting to cool off, making it the perfect time for a walk. Since Oak Park Brewing is dog-friendly, it was an easy choice. First of all, Benny had an amazing time! The moment he spotted another dog, his eyes lit up with excitement, and he was ready to make a new friend. It was fun watching him enjoy himself just as much as we did. We stopped in just for drinks this visit. I ordered the pomegranate cider, while my girl went with the lavender slushy. Both were refreshing and perfect for the weather. We enjoyed our drinks outside. While we were sitting outside, they were hosting what looked like a bingo night, which added a fun, community vibe to the atmosphere. They also serve food, but we were only in the mood for drinks this time. After seeing what others were ordering, we've already decided that we'll be back to try the food on our next visit. Overall, this was a great experience. The bartender was friendly, the drinks were delicious and the establishment was dog-friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming and laid-back. It's a convenient neighborhood spot that we'll definitely be visiting again, maybe next time we'll even join a game of bingo!
