So the wifey and I had a free day and decided we were going to do some day drinking-so since I had been here recently at an amazing Yelp event,I told her there was no better place to start a day of drinking than Oak Park Brewing located on 3514 Broadway. It's funny I've lived in the Sacramento area since 96 and somehow had never made my way to this neighborhood until the fore mentioned Yelp event, but let me tell ya-this neighborhood is so cute-coffee shops, bakeries, nurseries, restaurants, ice cream shops-it's got it all and this brewery is such an anchor for the neighborhood-a beautiful gathering spot to either begin or end your evening. This particular visit was great-the patio spot in the back where everyone hangs was great-such variety of people,ages,cultures-it was a true melting pot of all the things I love about Sacramento-I seen people with dogs-people with young kids, even babies in strollers-I saw people on dates-I seen people just hanging catching up after long week-it's such a chill spot-I loved it. Now let's get to the beer-we had 4 beers in total on this particular visit. 2 pints of The People Lager($7.50 each)-This is a great beer-feels like very friendly beer and easy drinking beer-I would get this again-7.8/10 rating 1/2 Pint Stout Kang Imperial($6.00)-This is the beer I came here for and I remember having it at the Yelp event-it's a very coffee forward stout and it's packs a punch-pretty sure double digit ABV-it's not for everyone-it's very strong but I love it-9.2/10 rating 22 ounce stein-Mystic Cloud($9.00)-This is a Hazy IPA and yep this was the star of the day for me-I loved this drink and as much as I loved the stout-this will be my order going forward-great beer-9.3/10 rating We also ordered the Pulled Pork Fries($15.00)-I had these on a previous visit-they were yummy then and they were even more yummy now after drinking almost 40 ounces of beer-I would fully recommend this as a shareable for anyone looking to eat a little something while enjoying the incredible suds they have at this brewery. Overall it was a great visit-I love these guys and gals who are running this brewery-they are all so friendly and welcoming and they are serving a superior product and the pride they have in their beer and food shows-I am so happy this brewery is a part of my world now and I can't wait to go back.

Delicious taco bar w/other yummy foods at the Office party at the OPB!

Adj: Best Beer Brewery and Burgers! I can't believe I've not reviewed OPB! I've been a fan of OPB since my office started having events here during "the pandemic years" (technically after the pandemic, but we were still not yet going into the office) before we started having events in the office again. We had 1 staff appreciation party here first, and then because the response was so positive, we had a second party here! First off, OPB is a great local brewery and restaurant and my office is big on supporting local (vs. chains) and we all enjoy farm to fork places and OPB definitely support local farmers and other businesses, so we wanted to support OPB too! We also heard that OPB serve up some amazing burgers, fries, and other delicious brewery food, so we had to come check it all out. We were not disappointed. We came on a warm fall day and it was the perfect weather for our large group to gather and party under the large covered patio at OPB. We each got one complimentary drink (alcoholic or non) thanks to our managers, and then we had some amazing appetizers of finger foods and a taco bar. Everything was delicious. I must've been having too much fun and socializing while eating, because I somehow only got 1 picture of my plate, but you can see that we enjoyed pretzel bites, a salad, fruits, popcorn chicken, grilled chicken and a taco bar w/all the fixings! It was so delicious! No matter, I know that OPB is a great place for beer connoisseurs. They have all kinds of specialty brews on tap and some of them are pretty low in alcoholic content, so those of us who are lighter drinkers but still like a beer on the more flavored side plenty to choose from. For those who don't imbibe, there are many sodas and non-alcoholic drinks such as lemonades and ice tea, and of course, OPB's burgers, fries, wings and other food fares are all freshly made and sumptuous! We played team-building games and hung out throughout the party and the OPB staff were so friendly, gracious, and helpful, asking if we needed anything, and refilling the food. We all had a good time and so we came back a year later and did it all over again. I'm not sure if we'll have future office parties here, but I sure hope so. I forgot to say that there's plenty of street parking all around too. So if you're looking for a casual spot for some great beers and food, check out OPB Co!

I went to Oak Park Brewing and honestly, I really liked it. The vibe is super chill and welcoming one of those places where you can just relax and be yourself. I brought my dog and sat outside, which made it even better. The outdoor area is really nice, and I loved that I didn't feel weird having my dog with me. It just felt easy and comfortable. The drinks were good with a lot of options, and the food was delicious too . I got a really good hazy beer. It nothing overly fancy, but definitely good and satisfying. It's more of a laid back, go to spot rather than somewhere super upscale. The atmosphere is probably my favorite part. It feels social and a little lively, but still relaxed. Perfect for hanging out, going on a casual date, or just getting out of the house for a bit. Overall, I'd definitely go back especially with my dog.

I went to Oak Park brewing for lunch last Thursday. It was my first time there because I just moved to the area, and it's walking distance from my new house. I had my dog with me, so I didn't go inside. My friend went inside and ordered for us, so I don't know anything about the inside or the bathrooms, but I'll tell you what I know. There are three vegan items on the menu. We ordered two of them: the grilled portobello mushroom burger with fries and the vegan Philly cheesesteak with a salad. Everything was amazingly delicious. The salad dressing was super good. The sauce on the grilled portobello burger was to die for. Nothing tasted dry or felt like it needed more flavor. The chefs here definitely know what they're doing. I love the back patio. You have the option of sitting in the sun or the shade. It's big enough that if you have a dog that doesn't like other dogs (that's me), you can get a good amount of space between them. And I love that they have help-yourself water. Oh, and they have a foosball table on the patio. I will definitely be coming back here.

Popped in for a couple of cold ones on this nearly 90 degree Mother's Day. Great service with a pretty impressive beer menu Recommend!

Oh wow!! We've been here quite a few times and I must have forgotten to write a review! We enjoy the neighborhood and supporting the community. Oak Park Brewing is a fun and laid back place. We like coming on a nice day to eat outside. We've only dined inside once. We love the OPB burger and add bacon, the BLTA, the cauliflower bites, the Napa salad and add crispy chicken, the chicken tenders with fries, the onion rings, and much more!! They offer many beers on tap. They also have an online option for a to-go order. Overall, a great place for a meal! A great place to meet friends for an outing. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Our meals were served quickly. The downside is street parking. If it's a busy time of day, you might have to walk a block or two away.

    Pretzel
    Lil B.

Stopped in for a flight tasting and a pretzel. I attended a Yelp elite event here and have been wanting to come back. In between things and needing a little snack the universe brought me here. Service was on point. Questions about beer suggestions were informative without being pretentious and the pretzel - hot, just the right amount of salt and the cheese dip was perfect. I didn't have the mustard but was told it was spiced up homemade Dijon mustard. It was a winner!

We were in the area and drove by saw thought we would stop in for a beer. We were able find parking about a block away. There was a very noisy group outside in the back patio area so decided to look for a table inside. We were looking at the menu and the bartender asked what we would like to order. I ordered a flight as well as a Royale Burger with fries. There are TVs inside and lots of tables. They have a good selection of beer. The beers were good as well as the burger was cooked perfectly. A bit messy but good.

    Sarah T.

First time here. Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. Very family & pet friendly. Love the outdoor seating. Tried a flight. I chose the Oak Park Stout Kween Imperial Stout, Oak Park Black Is Beautiful Hazyx2, & Oak Park Lii Red Chevette All were really good but I really enjoyed the hazy. Also ordered the BLT and A w/ fries. Staff were friendly. There's Street parking.

I really like this place. The beers on tap are really good. Smooth, flavorful, and refreshing. I got the Special New England Hazy IPA which they make once a year and it was delicious. The food was great as well. We got the Royal OPB burger and we split the burger because it was huge. The bacon inside was crispy and the sunny side egg was creamy. It ranks up there as one of the better burgers I've had. The service was excellent. Walking in we were greeted right away. Every question about the beers and menu we had was answered. They made us feel at home. Our whole experience was excellent.

Fun Philly with tots (vegan). Make sure you ask for the vegan version of the comeback sauce.
    Bridget W.

Ever since Oak Park Brewing changed hands some years ago they've been a great comeback story for this area. Better beer, better food, and an all-around better vibe. Inside is small, so I really only ever visit the large covered patio. It's a dog-friendly space with water bowls for your pup. They've got a well-rounded selection of beers of all styles, including the dark and malty stuff that I crave. But what really brings me back is knowing that I can get tasty vegan eats here with my beer. They even have plant-based options for brunch! Seriously, who doesn't like a vegan friendly brewery? It's also worth noting that the service is universally friendly here as well. Definitely a spot you need to have in your Sac brewery rotation for sure.

    Outside seating
    Jim W.

Sitting outside with the pup and enjoying a Hatch chile burger and a salad. Ok a cider as well. Great outdoor space, pups welcome oh yeah! Many house beers on tap or canned to go. Food options from salads to burgers. The Hatch green chile burger was dressed to the nines. Guacamole, chile, pepper jack and jalepenos. Salad was full meal size and fresh and delicious from all I heard. Order inside, take a number and grab a table. Food will be delivered soon.

This was such a great find! The vibe is cute and trendy, the service was good, and the food was great! We came in on a Saturday night after seeing a performance down the street. They were vibing outside on the patio but we decided to eat inside. Lots of beer choices and basic pub menu. The prices were reasonable and we would definitely come back to try more

The fries were actually pretty good, an above average standard French fry with salt. The burger however was phenomenal. There was an amazing crust on the outside reminiscent of a backyard bbq. There was ample bacon, lettuce, cheese and sauce to make it a balanced bite. The bun was high end brioche style, they really went all out on quality of ingredients. The bun was above average - definitely a notch above the typical mass-produced buns often used elsewhere. I opted for sweet potato fries. They had good flavor. Personal preference-wise... I would have liked them to be cooked a smidge more. If/when I come back, I'll probably ask them to be crispy-er. Overall, thumbs up! I wouldn't hesitate to come back and try other things on the menu. #burgers
