Not a peep from the pup all the way home and she sleeps well through the night. The folks that work at the facility are professional and genuinely care about the dogs they watch. They're also very accommodating to puppies and their need to take many naps throughout the day. Boarding with Dog Days is just as great as daycare and I feel confident my pup is taken care of when I leave her overnight. I'm so grateful to have found this place and it feels nice knowing my pup will grow in a caring and enriching environment. We'll be coming back regularly for daycare and boarding.

That should tell you everything you need to know about their training. That horrifying fact aside, they didn't kennel train him or potty train him. Reached out after bringing him home where he peed on the floor 5 times in a three hour period. They said he needed to be on a schedule (that is unreasonable for anyone who isn't retired where they can interact with their dog every hour) then sent me three YouTube videos to train the dog on potty training myself. Which is hilarious because the first video explains how to potty train using the kennel...which would be great if they kennel trained him. But they undeniably did not. He'll bark for HOURS in his kennel even after being fed, walked, and gone to the bathroom. Asked for at least a 50% refund since they finished teaching him how to sit (we already started this and had this working most of the time) taught him how to lay down (we didn't care about that) and taught him how to place (we also didn't care about that) everything else we asked for and was offered on their site for the board and train (which is about 8 or so things) was not trained. Their solution to not get him to pull on a leash was to give him a prong collar. Cool, except not. They stopped responding and issued no refund. Have disputed it with the bank as I've clearly been scammed and didn't get anything nearly out of this for what I paid for. I've reached out to two other dog trainers. One saw him 4 days after he left their facility to confirm what was and wasn't trained. They've confirmed whatever Enzo's claims to have trained him for potty training and kennel training were false. He howls for hours in his kennel and still had accidents. Total waste of $2,500. Save your money, go somewhere else if you want anything trained into your dog that isn't "sit"

They blamed the metal on the ecollar and said he might be allergic to the metal and suggested that he may need the hypoallergenic version (which is funny because I bought that collar and gave them the entire contents of the box that included the one they were talking about him possibly needing) As I've already written a review about that experience, I don't want to go into too much detail... but as it was so long ago I can't update the post at all, as I'm looking at getting my younger dog into a board and train soon I was given more resources from reputable trainers to know whether a training facility has met certain requirements or not in order to know if you should take your dog there. Well I just happened to be curious and did a search for Enzo's acres on these resources and come to find out they aren't a certified member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers... or any other training association that I can find. I thought I would make sure that this information is out there so people can make an educated decision of where to take their beloved pets to. This picture is of one of the 2 wounds that my dog came home with from Enzo's acres. It required an emergency vet visit and antibiotics. What was the worst was they didn't even mention it to me at all! They also removed my review of them on Facebook and blocked me from commenting/replying on anything on their page. That is HORRIBLE business practice as I only went there due to amazing reviews. So if they deleted my review and blocked me I ABSOLUTELY KNOW they did it to others as well. I've been taking my dog to The Dog House for upwards of two years and she's had to get stitches…read morethree times. The first two times I wasn't notified and found out when I got home and found blood, the third time they took her to the vet next door and called me to let me know. The vet told me there was another dog getting treated from an incident at the daycare too when i went to go pick my dog up. When asked what happened the employee at the desk told me that they weren't there in the morning (I got a call from them saying she was hurt at 2pm) but someone saw her on the cameras that her and another dog were playing but she bumped into a third dog and was then bit. Them viewing in the camera makes me think that they left the dogs unattended? My dog has never been aggressive towards any dog, and the fact that this has happened THREE TIMES is ridiculous and dangerous. I emailed them and haven't received a response back. I'd expect at least a response considering the severity of the situation.

Gizmo had to have surgery performed to have stitches put in his ear. Which was one of the most stressful decisions I've ever had to make for my dog because he had to be put under. Luckily I was able to provide the $460 needed for emergency surgery. I just fear the next dog will not make it out so lucky. I received a call from the owner of The Dog House (Tristan) just to be offered free walks and free stays at The Dog House where I no longer feel comfortable leaving gizmo after he got hurt.

We have lifetime access and we watched them several times at our own pace, we also watched the videos with our kids so they were fully aware of the expectations and new rules with our dog. She was patient with me, explained things clearly, answered all my questions, and really made me feel like I CAN be the leader my Rowan needs me to be. She has separation anxiety and anxiety in general that we're working on resolving & they dealt with this incredibly well! I think the amount of exercise they gave her and their grounded personalities kept her feeling very secure during her stay with Homeward Hound. They sent me updates when I asked (which I believe I requested all three days) including photos texted to my phone. She definitely had enough exercise! She's not the simplest dog socially and she was properly integrated into their little pack (of two small dogs) so that everyone was happy being together. I schedule my life around my dog and knowing I have Homeward Hound to rely on really sets me free to make plans to go anywhere! Thank you for looking after my girl!!

Unfortunately, the experience itself didn't quite work out for us. Our dog is an intact male, and he ended up in a group with all females, one of whom had recently gone through a heat cycle. The facility allows females who have recently been in heat, but unfortunately their scent just isn't conducive to a group social setting like this, especially for young intact males. The first week this happened we assumed it was just a temporary challenge and gave it the benefit of the doubt, but the issue continued during our next session. The scent was simply too distracting for him- and even other females were distracted by the scent. Our dog who normally socializes well in other group settings, became too fixated and overstimulated for any type of learning or appropriate social interaction. We really tried to give this facility a fair shot and came back again hoping for a better experience, but ultimately our dog had to remain leashed the entire session time, which completely defeats the purpose of a social/play session. We have now found a facility with stricter guidelines around females in heat.

While Kyah failed the evaluation, the staff member who I spoke with gave me a very detailed explanation of why and it was clear to me that she was very skilled/perceptive about dogs. Kyah is an Australian Cattle Dog, which can be a misunderstood breed and it was clear to me that the staff member understood her and therefore I respected her assessment. The whole experience was very helpful even though it didn't yield the result many want for their dog. I thought wow what if I shaved the hell out of the groomer in the parking lot Brittany Spears style and told her that it would grow out? I talk about this freely with the Masters of many Pedigrees and no insult to injury. I would not trust my beloved in the hands of them. Bogie still is not grown out to make it look good. Shameful.

I booked two 30-minute drop-in visits for total of $60 per day because house sitting wasn't available (which would be around $70 per night). Unfortunately, most visits seemed to last only about 10-15 minutes recorded by our door entry log. Pet sitters I've used from other companies have always stayed the full time, even if my shy cat, Kingsley, didn't come out right away, so they could slowly gain his trust and ensure he received his medication. This sitter seemed to be in a rush and didn't put in the same effort, which was disappointing given the importance of his care. I did let the sitter know that if it was impossible to dose him, it would be ok but I thought eventually she would be able to coax him out to give it to him like my past sitters.
