Mixed review-: was here on June 27th and got a deluxe pedi & asked for a gel ombre (which I was told could be done when I scheduled the appointment). Pedicure was phenomenal-- very relaxing and the technician was gentle and attentive to detail. Mani was not great. Technician tried to do what I wanted for a gel ombre (which she did state at the top of the appointment, "I will try, but it might not look exactly like this"-- that's fair!) After the attempt didn't work, we decided to do a french tip style. She then rushed through my mani, using a very high speed with the electric filer/ sander, so much so that when I took the gel off today I now have "rings of fire" (see attached pictures). While the mani looked great, I am disappointed more care of my natural nails was not taken, and now I have to wait it out for my nails to heal. For the future I hope any technician that does manis here will take their time, and be extra careful when using the electric filer/ sander on other clients. read more

I did like the service but she asked if I was paying cash and I asked what would the discount be and she said no tax. Spoiler alert - I have never paid tax in twenty years for a nail service. Had to get rid of my original chipped gel nails so opted to get a regular manicure . The communication between the owner and the non English speaking nail tech was lost somewhere because the nail tech started filing my pinky into a sharp dagger like shape which I had requested square and round. I freaked out and told her and pointed to my other nails that I wanted the original shape. She didn't understand so the owner came and filed my nails to the shape I wanted. I had wanted designs but was told designs are only for gel so I decided a different color on my ring finger. (Why my luck to get designs been shot down again.) It is not as clean around the cuticle as you can see. But overall she did a good job. read more

It takes a lot for me to write a review. I was recently there and I was so disappointed. After spending over $70 on a gel mani/pedi i was not happy. My gel mani started peeling on day 3. Not only that, my pedi was the worst I've had. The lady that did my pedi cut down my nails and poked me a few times. She said I had ingrown nail when I complained. After I got home I realized that the nail polish didn't even cover all my toe nails. The side of my toenails were bare. A friend highly recommended this place but I feel like it was a waste of money considering that less than a week later I had to go back to my regular place to get my nails done again. I came in to get a HARD gel manicure. She struggled to do my manicure. When it was done I notice she painted so far away from my cuticle it looked like 2 weeks old. Since she struggled through my whole manicure, I let it go. Paid and tipped. NOTE: they tax using your card. When I left I notice the paint on my left thumb was messed up. I immediately called her said the nail needs to be fixed. She told me I can come back anytime. I was busy for the next 2 days so I said I'll come back another day. 3 days later 2 nails on my right hand chipped! I've been getting hard gel manicure since October and I've NEVER had a chipped nail especially with hard gel. I call her on the 3rd day to tell her 2 nails chipped and can I get them fixed. I came back on the 4th day to get it fixed and she had another very nice lady fix my nails. She just re-painted my nails. She then told me it'll be $10 for the fix nails. I told her they chipped in 3 days, I don't think I need to pay for this. She yelled at me saying it's my fault the nails chipped so I have to pay. I paid the $10 but I'm never coming back to this business. This place is a total RIP OFF. I would not spend your money or time here. read more

We paid $65 for this service and the lady said it's normal for nails to fall off less than 24 hours after getting them. I was upset and rightfully so. The first 2 experiences were great. However, I've gotten my pedicures for a way cheaper price before. Today for a basic pedicure with nothing extra or add-ons was $32. I would been okay with it if I had asked for a special treatment. Or if the polish was done well. All my pedicures in the past were between $22-25. My regular gel manicures are about $27-32. So I just don't agree with $32 for a BASIC pedicure. Not to mention it wasn't painted well. In the picture, you can distinguish where the tech did her first coat & where the 2nd coat was began. It's not even. It looks like layers. 1 more thing. I've paid with a credit card in the past, during the pandemic included. So when it came down to payment. They said they don't take credit cards. That's something to communicate with the customers BEFORE getting their nails done or even when I had called to make an appointment. Not everyone carry cash. Communication is key. I luckily got a last minute (and much needed) appointment for a pedicure at here after landing at LAX (10min ride from the airport). Kimmy the design queen was available to do my gel designs. I've been here a few times since the owners changed I really wanted to like it but unfortunately I will have to look elsewhere. Very nice people and will make sure mistakes are fixed, but for the cost I feel like there should be no mistakes. I was cut on my manicure and my gel was completely taken off by dremmel tool which weakened my nails. No acetone used at all. I chose a bright color for both toes and nails which took extra time for both technicians to fix an redo. While they did correct to my liking I shouldn't have left 2 1/2 hrs later with a cut cuticle, it's only been a week my gel is already lifting. My mani had smudges on the side and the filing of my pedi could have been better. I think because of the location they hiked up the prices but for these prices the work must be A+. I tried this place because I didn't wanna drive to Redondo where I usually get them done. It was a mistake. The only reason I'm giving them 2 star is because the lady (tammy) did the shape very well no complaints there, I don't like my nails too thick she did that well as well. However I called and asked for a manicure with a did powder color for my nails ( which I believe includes cuticles cleaning up, nail cleaning, dipped in warm water etc) however when I got there she did not clean up my nails, I got a sheer color and you can still see a bit of debris in my nails. I asked halfway if she would clean it up and she said that that part comes later. But it never came, she actually told me at the end to go home and use lemon to clean it up. I asked her what was included in the manicure that I asked for and she didn't say anything. You can also see the color is not all the way to the bottom, cuticles are horrible, I will have to get them redone somewhere else. My total was 55 I, they did not have a card payment system which was inconvenient, I had to use zelle. I tipped 10 bucks bc I'm a waiter and I understand part of their income is tips However, today is my birthday and these are my birthday nails and I'm very disappointed I really wanna cry. read more

I never write reviews (good or bad) about places I've visited, but this nail salon deserves a terrible review. I went to get my nails done (dip powder), I got the color black for Halloween, paid $55, and 4 days later my nail chipped. The next day I went back to the salon, it was fixed, then the next day another nail chipped. I called again and asked for a refund and I was told they "don't give refunds after a week of providing service." Mind you, nowhere in their website does it state any policies with this claim and, more importantly, it hasn't even been a week since my nails started chipping, they chipped after 4 days! $55 is a lot of money and the owner was rude and inconsiderate. Save yourselves the time and money and avoid this salon. read more

Well they changed management and the service is, like others have stated, subpar. $70 for a gel mani / regular pedi and I was out of there in 45 min. So rushed. Also I asked them not to do more than 3 coats of polish on my nails (they were going for 4!!!). I never get more than 2 coats because they look fake and thick. I'll see how they do over 2 weeks but probably won't be back. The pedicure is bumpy polish and not smooth. I'm sad because the other owners were awesome. At least there is another nail place near by but sadly not open on a Sunday and I needed my nails done on a Sunday. I'll plan better next time so I can go when my other place is open. read more

I just got my nails done with Helen today - a full set of gel acrylics - and I love them. I've been here before (before and after the new ownership switch), and it's always been a good experience. Very disappointed with the way my gel-x fill came out today. Be aware that they have changed ownership and prices have increased (which no one told me when I called to make an appointment the day before). I called and they said my usual girl (who does an excellent job on acrylics and Gel X) left. I thought to myself that there has to be someone else there that can do gel-x as well. But NO! Such a mistake!!! My gel-x fill took 2 hours!! 2 HOURS! At the end, it was a horrible job! Uneven and thick gel and a botched polish job. My daughter could have painted my nails better. At that point, I just wanted to leave. Did I really want to sit there for another hour for her to fix it? Definitely not! I did pay the new and increased price ($60 for a fill) and gave the person who did my nails a tip. At the end, I am down almost $100 and left with terrible looking nails.
