I am currently sitting in the waiting area after being lied to multiple times over a course of 2weeks (roughly). This has been a frustrating experience from start to finish; in hindsight I would never have given the job to this vendor. They did a paint touch up for me a year or so ago, and are very close to my home. So I gave them another job when my Mazda was in a fender bender. The number of times the story was changed at the shop was too numerous to count. The original quote was supposed to be I drop off my car on Monday and I was told all parts were ordered and in. But that was a lie. When I called to check up on the car Wednesday it still had not had the paint job done, let alone the 4 tires I bought installed. There was a question on the cost of the tires they quoted. I asked to please be up front about the make and model so I could make sure I got a fair price. I called, text, emailed every day for 3 days. I was basically ignored ( hindsight it bought them time to keep the car and avoid accountability). Finally I showed up in person to ask wtf was going on. Their version of customer service was to ignore me so long that I'd be backed into buying the tires. Which worked. Then of course I needed an alignment. When I finally received a revised quote on tires and agreed to it, I was told the tires were in. But that was a lie. They didn't have 4. Only 3. It took extra days for them to go all the way to NILES to get the 1 tire. Nikes is literally next door! Poor excuses. After more poor excuses. Friday, I still didn't have my car back. I was told it would be finished over the weekend and pick up Monday. I called at 9 am and was told noon. At noon I was told I'd get a call in 5 minutes with a firm pick up. No one called. Instead- they refused to answer my calls. I called about every 45 minutes from noon till 3. It's now 3:40 I'm sitting here still waiting. I'm just learning of more lies. They sent my car out to a different vendor for an alignment. Something nobody discussed with me at any point. Yet they are using this excuse to pad how long it took and blame the other vendor. No accountability. Very unprofessional. Clearly as I sit here I'm upset. When asked, I was honest and said I was dissatisfied about the lies and poor service. But rather than try to smooth anything over the choice was to fight with me. All lies came from them. All failed commitments were on their part. Not mine. I waited patiently until it was clear I was being manipulated. Today I've been told Adam is in the toilet since 3:30 when I arrived. It's now 10 til 4. Is he dying in that toilet? Or hiding like a child??? I think he doesn't want to deal with his own shit. While waiting for 30 minutes for Adam to complete his bowel movement, I asked to pay my bill while we wait, but was told no. I said it made no sense to not get the bill paid while I wait (to save time). I explained I have dinner plans and can't wait. The car was promised first thing this morning. Then It was noon. Definitely noon. Now it's 4 pm. Lies. Lies. Lies. Adam had the audacity to think I would continue sitting and waiting when he emerged. He chose to ring up 2 other clients that walked in after me. Knowing I was upset with the service. He thought he'd stick it to me further. I have no time for such games. I literally had to walk out and threaten to take my car - before he would provide any kind of meaningful service. He thought he was going to put me in my place and make me wait like a bad kid in a corner. When it was HIS COMPANY that FALTERED, LIED, MISSED their DEADLINES and provided the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE experience . I would not recommend this place to someone who I greatly disliked. Nobody should be constantly lied to day after day after day, by the people they are entrusting with the service of their vehicle. I put my life into its hands. Dishonesty is something I abhor about service industries. Do not lie to me, do not promise me things that you have no intention of delivering on, do not tell me that you are going to call me in five minutes and then don't call me for three days. Meanwhile you don't respond to the text messages the emails or the phone calls. It's totally unacceptable! They better hope they did a good job. I did not get any walk through of the work. I have no idea if anything they claimed they did was truthfully done. But I'm taking the car to another shop tomorrow to double check their work. God help them if they used after market tires or skimped on any of the work. I will report all of it to the better business bureau immediately. read more

I had the best experience at Mou's Auto Body & Repair this week. I had accidentally backed into a car at my doctors office causing no damage to my car but a dented bumper on the other car. I couldn't fine the owner so I left a note. the car owner asked me to find a place to fix her car, I found Adam at Mou's. Adam was so understanding of the situation , I sent him the info on the car and he ordered the bumper and fixed it 2 days later. My car was repaired in a very fast, timely fashion - and it couldn't have turned out better. It looked brand new! Fixing hail dents and re-painting my cherry-red Cadillac is not an easy task. They matched the color perfectly! Not a dent left on it! I have used Mou, and his brother, Adam, for numerous car repairs for many years. They have never disappointed me so far. I was lied too about my last repair and they put radiator fluid in my washer bottle when i took it in for the warranty repair. Turns out they never replaced the torn oil pan gasket or the oil filter and just put some sealer on the torn gasket to hide the problem temporarily. Luckily i took it to a reputable mechanic that confirmed the wrong oil pan and gasket were installed, and that's why it never sealed properly. Don't know if these guys are just crooks or completely incompetent. read more
