My one-year-old vehicle was damaged in a 50/50 fender bender (you should see the other guy!). The damage was substantial, and complicated by hip replacement surgery (i.e., no driving for six weeks) shortly before the repair was done. No problem - Armen had the car picked up at our home, and promptly delivered when finished. Honestly, the car looks as good or better than new, and working with Lakeside is always a pleasure. I have taken our cars several times to Lakeside for body work, which has always been done very well with excellent communication and reasonable cost, or even at no cost, as occurred recently when the front passenger door could not be opened from the inside. Armen scheduled the work immediately and, although the the door handle and panel had to be removed to access and tighten the link and the panel and handle reattached, said there was no charge. read more

Unfortunately, this is the second time we've needed Armand and Lakeside Autorebuilders this year -- but once again, they proved why we will never go anywhere else. When my husband was recently in an accident, I called Armand to ask if he could help us. Even though he was fully booked through January, he still found a way to fit us in. We had the car towed to Lakeside, and instead of letting it sit for weeks while we waited for parts, Armand went above and beyond: he literally cut a hole in the bumper to pull out the bent muffler so the car would be safe to drive. Since this accident was considered 50/50 fault, we had to pay for a rental out of pocket -- and Armand saved us from paying for an extra week of rental fees. He did all this before insurance had even accepted liability. He didn't do it for business; he did it because he's genuinely a good person. He knew we were just trying to get another year out of our 11-year-old car, and he helped make that possible. Once the parts arrived, he called us, we dropped the car off, and it was finished in LESS THAN A WEEK. He even removed the old peeling dealer sticker and fixed the trunk springs that kept giving out -- small things, but incredibly appreciated. I never expected to be on a first-name basis with an auto body repair guy, but after being saved twice this year, I'm grateful we found Armand. Hopefully we get a break from accidents... but if we ever need help again, we're only going to Lakeside. Truly above and beyond service. Highly, highly recommend! read more

My car was tow a few months back and my car door was slightly bent as a result. I explained my situation over the call and they were able to fit me in right away. They explained that it will be best for me to bring my car in just to evaluate if they can fix it or not then we can schedule an appointment to complete the work. He took his time and was patient as I explained the situation in more details. To my surprised, he told me he can try to fix it right away. A classic case of underpromising and overdelivering. I creased the passenger side of my 2018 Audi Q5. I was referred to Armen and Lake Side Auto Rebuilders. The whole back door had to be replaced along with various accessory pieces. Armen told me he was backed up for 2-3 mos. and then it might take up to two weeks once I brought the car in. But I got a call about 2 weeks later to bring her in. They did the most amazing job and in just a few days. The work and paint job are seamless; there's no way to distinguish the new parts from the old. What's more, the car was returned to me in pristine condition - washed, vaccuumed and exterior surface scratches buffed out. I'm not the only one who's notices - friends keep asking me if I got a new car! The service provided by Garo and Armen was excellent. They worked very diligently to provide me several options (some of which required additional research). I was seeking a more fiscally reasonable solution, particularly given my car is a 2003 and I didn't want to invest a lot of money into auto body repairs. Of the three estimates I received - Lakeside was by far the best price, but also provided the most personalized customer service attention. When the appointment was scheduled, they completed the work within a matter of hours (I was having bumper work and a mirror replaced). As mentioned by one of the other reviewers - my car looked MUCH better than when I dropped it off since they not only did a great job with the repairs, but also cleaned the interior of my car and cleaned my headlights/taillights that had become extra foggy (I'm not actually sure how they cleaned the lights as I tried myself unsuccessfully). My first review and I have to say that Armen and his team is the best in Chicago Area. My car got an accident that ruined left side doors. I researched on Google and Yelp and called them. I just went to Lakeside for the first time, as fortunately haven't had to use autobody services in many years. I was very impressed at all points of interaction. Estimating/scheduling was easy, they drove me to get my rental car, they were done before they said they would be, and the estimate was spot-on to the final price. Also, i was able to leave my rental car there and this saved me time - they coordinated with Hertz for Hertz to pick it up. And finally, my car was not only fixed, but it was washed well and the inside had been vacuumed. Very impressive all around.
