Last night I was here for dinner with my hubby and two friends and we had a wonderful time! Our waitress was Sarah who was friendly, efficient and had a great sense of humor. We started with the cheese board and meat board which featured calamari and ordered some alcoholic beverages. We loved seeing many of our favorite local distillerys on the list (McLaughlins, Liberty Pole). Then came another round of mules and old fashioneds. I ordered the shrimp and scallop risotto, my hubby had the ribeye special, and our friends had the meatloaf and ribeye special. The food was large portions and delicious. For dessert we shared a cinnamon roll bread pudding with whipped cream which was TO DIE FOR! We had an amazing evening together at Four Twelve. My only word of caution is that parking is limited and spots are tight so get there early. read more

This was our first time here and we were grabbing dinner before a hockey game at RMU. Fortunately, we were able to snag a same day reservation as I do believe they are reservation only at this time. WOW! Their menu has a variety of great food and we had really fantastic and quick (but not too quick) service. We ordered a few drinks and appetizers to start - the fried brussel sprouts were excellent and we also enjoyed the candied bacon (although ours was not truly "candied" at all but still very delicious). For dinner, my husband had the Chicken Risotto which I would definitely come back for...it was one of those dishes worth continuing to eat even after you're full (and I kept stealing bites)! I had the FTP Noodle Bowl with Shrimp, which was also very good but honestly couldn't touch the risotto. I'd still order it again if they were out of the risotto ;). However, it was very heavy on the ginger so I'd avoid the dish if you aren't a fan of ginger. We finished with a really rich double chocolate cake for dessert. Overall, I was very impressed with the menu variety and service. We'll definitely be back! read more

Food was absolutely amazing it came hot and fresh. Great custom drinks We had a group of 8, very disappointed with the service. I had to ask 3 times for a straw for my water, she forgot my salad and several of us got desserts. Some desserts came right away, others came ten minutes later after the party was done. Fantastic food and service. The ambiance of the restaurant is very welcoming and comfortable. The burgers were flavorful and perfectly cooked. The bacon fingerling potato appetizer was phenomenal. The skewers were amazing! The steak, chicken and pork had the best flavor. Our waitress was kind and knowledgeable of menu items. I went to Four Twelve Project on Valentines Day with my daughter and wife. My wife called earlier in the day to inquire about getting a reservation and was told that they were not taking reservations for the holiday, but when we arrived we were asked if we had a reservation and there were Reserved signs on some tables. Never the less, we were promptly seated as we arrived early to try and beat the Valentines Day rush. It is a very interesting place with a lot of local art for sale on he walls. Very out of place though was the projector showing How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days on the wall right above the high top table where we were sitting. Really was kind of weird to have a bad romantic comedy showing when everywhere else in the restaurant shared a very artsy, hipster dining vibe. The food was really good. I got the steak skewer and added a single shrimp skewer. My wife has the gnocchi, which seemed like a small portion but each gnocchi was really big and very filling. I would come back and happily bring family and friends to dine at Four Twelve Project again some day. read more

My mom and I came here for dinner and we were blown away! The service was excellent despite being busy. The waitress was attentive and answered all of our questions. We started with the Brussel sprouts and they were gone before I could get a picture! Then I had the sirloin skewer while my mom ordered the shrimp skewers. #1 in Moon!! This is by far the best restaurant in Moon. Yelp drives me crazy sometimes with the way it sorts these things. Armstrong's is a 1 star compared to this as well as Maxime's, Eggs N At, and Mario's. It's a shame they are above this place. Not even comparable. The service was slow when they first opened but they've figured that out by now. The food is always on point and I'm glad to finally have a real restaurant in Moon. I'm thankful I don't have to drive to Robinson or Sewickley to get good food. read more

Absolutely no complaints! This was a great random find near the airport thanks to Yelp and we really enjoyed the food. It's located in a small, well renovated house, but tables are spread out and it's feels roomy inside. There is plenty of parking behind the restraint. Recommend reservations as they were crowded at 6:00 pm and the restaurant closes by 8:00. The menu included farm to table steaks with various sides, a variety of skewers, pasta, fresh salads and delicious starters. There are plenty of options for vegetarians. They also had a great bar menu with Pennsylvania based craft brewers. It's not cheap, but a great value for a meal that is memorable. Thank You! read more

I was there during the second week of November with some colleagues. A relatively busy Thursday night, but the service was great. The meal was awesome - Hot Sausage Fettucini, bold flavor and pasta perfectly cooked. The Bruschetta appetizer was also very good, and their house made bread was enjoyable. Drove into Pittsburgh to visit family on my way back east and ordered take out from 412. As I eat mostly Vegan, I thoroughly enjoyed my fried Brussel Sprouts and vegetable skewers. An absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish. Immediately upon entering the restaurant, the staff greeted us warmly! Despite many people trying to enjoy the fantastic food being offered the staff both balanced the rush and ensured people were seated in a timely manner. After we were sat the waitress promptly visited our table gathering our drink orders and telling us of all the delicious specials. The food, I can't say enough about how fresh and fantastic the food was! This was definitely a one stop shop in flavor Town! Once my family and myself were finished with our food we couldn't help but sit and relax while enjoying the joyful atmosphere. Compared to the other offerings in the area, this looked promising. The description of the menu as a locally sourced caught my eye. In terms of atmosphere, it is O.K., nothing fancy but comfortable enough. The beer selection was primarily local beers, and not the usuals, which was a nice change. At our table of four, three had the farm salad, which was very good. Two had the burgers, and I heard no complaints. One had the meatloaf, and was disappointed. I had the the chicken skewer entree, which included a vegetable skewer and smashed fingerling potatoes. It seemed as though every plate was drenched in barbecue sauce, and in my case I could barely tell the difference between the potatoes and the chicken. We ended the meal with blueberry bread pudding, which again was good enough, but probably not worth the calories. Over all, I wouldn't return, but as a neighborhood restaurant, it might suit some. I'd like to see them lose the barbecue sauce to let the food shine a little It just felt like the kitchen was masking a lack of confidence with an overload of sauce. read more

Super cute spot with subpar food. The service at the bar and dining area was extremely slow. I'm talking a good hour between receiving our apps and our main course. Ordering additional drinks was a bit tough too because by the time they arrived we were basically done with our meals. The food could definitely use a little more flavor, kind of tasted like something I could make here at home. They also ran out of their signature BBQ bacon wrapped meatloaf rather early which was a major bummer (being we went there specifically for that dish). Holy sh*t! Was not expecting this. Was away on business and searched "steakhouse near me" on Google to find this as a 4.8 rated steakhouse. They make their own wine (meh, but not why I came) and the service was EXCELLENT!! Asked for extras...got em! Had the ribeye (medium rare, "leaning towards rare") and they actually cooked it correctly! The hors d'oeuvres listed as a special was shrimp, clams and muscles in a broth with kimchi. If this is a seasonal thing or just an occasional thing, they need to make this a regular. No lie: best seafood dish I can recall (excluding lobster cause, well, it's lobster)! The steak came with a side of meat (brisket slices yum!), grilled veggies, and maybe the best potatoes I can recall. I'm sounding like hyperbole, but I'm being honest. Amazing!!! read more

Great service, delicious food and a cool atmosphere. We ordered the pub burger with fresh cut fries, mushroom risotto (saw online but not on printed menu but available) and our friends had the stuffed pepper and sausage pasta with red sauce and the seafood risotto. We were all very happy with our meals, very good. Also tried the fingerling potatoes and yummy. We wish we had Parmesan or sour cream but very good. We didn't try the beer selection but seemed really nice. Definitely next time. My only caution would be the wine. I know wine, quite well actually, as a clean crafted wine consultant. But when I am out I still drink from what is on menu at wineries and other eateries. I can't say I liked any of them, just off for one reason or another so next year may be better. My friend likes sweet wine, non were sweet. She did the cab, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. I did all but the Chardonnay but tasted my friends. The Sangiovese wasn't too bad but none were great. But give them time and I expect things to get better there for sure. So order beer or one of their cool cocktails. I will definitely go back and take friends. May be our new spot! Oh, and I suggest a reservation even on a weekday. This place is certainly a hot spot! You will not be disappointed. I travel world wide for many years weekly and I know this is a gem! Bartender wouldn't serve me alcohol because my Arizona ID expires in 60 years. I agree, that is a silly thing about Arizona IDs but I'm not in charge and it is a valid ID. She wouldn't take any measures to check its validity other than her opinion. Moreover, she was very aggressive about denying me. I asked her to just view my phone "for funsies" as I had googled the AZ law that explains everything. She told me she would not do anything for funsies. (Bummer for her I guess). She raised her voice at me saying I'm risking her job. I used to sell alcohol too so I understand but her lack of humanity behind the interaction was shocking to say the least. She was immediately rude and aggravated saying she didn't have time for this conversation. I informed the manager but he didn't have much to say. We left without eating dinner. I work a manual labor job and was just hoping to relax after a long day but I was yelled at and belittled instead. So watch out if you're from Arizona, you might leave with some verbal abuse and no drink. read more
