Super cute spot with yummy food. They have outside, inside and bar seating. They can easily accommodate larger parties. They have a strong beer list and the wine is by Four Twelve Winery. I am not a fan of PA wines but both my husband and I really enjoyed the Sangiovese. They have wine and beer flight options so you can try a few things if you can't decide! We ordered the crispy Brussels, it was easily enough for 4 people. They were extra crispy and had a nice balsamic glaze flavor. I ordered the seafood risotto and my husband got the filet over fingerling potatoes special. Both were very good! The food was fresh and served hot, honestly my risotto was still steaming even after I couldn't eat another bite. The portions are generous, you won't leave hungry! The menu has nice variety of options but not so many that you can't decide. They take reservations, and also have takeout specials that are different from the regular menu. In an area with a lot of chain restaurants, FTP is a great change and we will definitely be back. read more

One visit was great and one visit wasn't so I'm meeting in the middle with a 3 star. First steak was juicy and tender perfectly seasoned. Second steak was a bad cut with a lot of fat and gristle that was tougher and more bland. The drinks were spectacular both times though. What a great find close to the airport! Happy to be at a locally owned restaurant over a chain any day! We arrived Friday early afternoon and were sat right away. We had a car seat which fit onto the booth seats very easily, phew! Our server was very attentive and helped with any questions we had. Over the course of our visit, they got pretty busy and the service stayed just as great. The beer was served nice and cold, they had a nice handful of options all across the board. We had tomato bruschetta to start (vegan friendly). It was delicious, the tomatoes were perfectly ripped and not smooshy. I then had a salad with a veggie skewer. The house dressing was also vegan friendly and the veggie skewer is sautéed in olive oil, not butter making it also vegan friendly. The server was very helpful in finding out everything from the kitchen. It was very obvious just about everything was homemade so finding out from the kitchen was pretty easily done. My dining partner had the Brussels and a shrimp skewer. She said they both were delish! So happy we tried this spot out, would love to come back again! read more

Very surprised by this place! I didn't have high expectations but the restaurant staff and food we had were terrific! It's a very relaxed, comfortable ambience, so it's great to take the family or to go out to for a date night. One of my favorite things about this place is that it's Locally-Sourced, Farm to Table Cuisine! The Brussel sprouts and risotto were the most popular dishes we tried. The waitstaff were very friendly and accommodating. They make their own wine there but I definitely do not recommend it. No offense, but their variety's just weren't for me, but you should try them for yourself and see! read more

We've been there twice now. I have to say the first time was awful. The servers didn't even know what they were serving. The shrimp appetizer sauce was so pasty dry, the licorice stick in the drink tasted like the old wax lips you would get at Halloween, smeared the tartar sauce on our fish sandwiches (who does that?) after they specifically said it would be on the side. At this point they were prob open for two months. Oh, and the one server who tried to help ours, copped an attitude with us. The owner came over to see how everything was and we told him. He apologized profusely and comped almost the entire meal. We told him we'd come back in a couple months to give it one more try. We did give it another try. It has improved The smashed fingerlings are awesome and so much better than having regular fries. My burger was good but they need more than one slice of cheese. Hubby tried the meatloaf and said it was decent but didn't realize the bbq sauce was spicy. I was disappointed in the mojito which was served in a small rocks glass with one of those giant ice cube balls and one mint leaf sitting on top of the mojito and was very strong; didn't particularly care for it. Mojitos need served in a tall thin glass to see the mint leaves and fresh fruit if it has it They've come a long way but still need some improvement. Will still try again. read more

Well, after a few short weeks my husband and I ventured back to Four Twelve Project...only to be completely astonished by the sudden decline in taste, quality, consistency, and service. I have opted to gift the second star based solely on our first visit. If my future patronage were reliant upon my most recent visit only, it's fair to say I would NEVER return. I am assuming that others have had the same experience as I, as the crowd on this second visit was incredibly sparse. And despite this being the case, the kitchen was out of either an entire meal option or an integral part of such rendering three menu items unorderable. This is a major personal pet peeve, especially when you're dealing with a menu that is so limited to begin with. I ordered a cocktail. Same option as before. However, on this occasion, every cocktail I ordered (three) was very, very warm. And due to the fact that the bar uses one large cube rather than crushed ice, there was no chance that my Moscow Mule was going to cool down sufficiently without either allowing it to become very watered down or dying of thirst first. So there's that.... On to starters - First and foremost, the arancini was not on this evening's menu. Why that particular appetizer would ever be seasonal or rotating is beyond me. It is hands down the best menu item they offer and spectacular! They did have a brussel sprout (with balsamic and parm) starter special so this is what we opted for. I am a BIG brussel sprout fan. And I do like them well done. However, these were a little too charred for my taste. They took on that acrid, bitter taste that lingers long after you've had your last bite. And there wasn't enough of the balsamic reduction on top to cut through the heaviness of the oil and cheese. For an entree I chose the chicken skewer and my husband the meatloaf. As far as the meatloaf is concerned, I cannot offer much as I refused to try it. The bacon it came wrapped in was flaccid and pink, while the meatloaf itself looked to have the texture of a pate or a loose cat food. Now to be fair, this may be a preference of some, but it's simply not my jam. The description of the chicken skewer would have you believe it is grilled to perfection and packed with flavor. However, it arrived tasteless....even lacking salt, which could not be remedied as there was no salt shaker on the table and our server was so hit and miss that it was pointless to wait to request one. The large pieces of chicken are grilled with the skin intact. Rendering the chicken an unappetizing texture, rubbery in some areas, and flabby/slimy in others. My skewer was accompanied by rice that was significantly overdone and very mushy. I choked down that which I considered edible and left the majority to the trash bin. Overall, bad experience. I will give it another shot here in a few more weeks to break the tie. Wish me (and Four Twelve Project) luck! read more

Three weeks later and a much better experience, service and food. I had the pork chop with polenta and grilled cauliflower. Pork chop was good, polenta was delicious. Wife had the seafood risotto and it was excellent. We both had the farmhouse salad and we enjoyed very much with the balsamic dressing instead of the Catalina. Blueberry bread pudding for dessert was a nice finish. Also enjoyed a bottle of the FTP Sangiovese. Glad we went back and plan to do so again with friends. read more

Attended one of the sneak peak events at the Four Twelve Project. I'm really excited to have this place in the Moon area! I love the concept - sourcing local food and beverages all from the 412. They have a pretty decent tap list, filled with local breweries but I was all for the craft cocktails. Their blood orange sangria was so delicious, and would be reason to go back alone! We ordered a few small plates to munch on; both the crab cakes and risotto balls were great! I had one of their burgers as my entree. The burger was fresh and juicy, but the side of fries were even better! The rest of our group opted for the skewers. The beef skewers looked amazing and got rave reviews. They had a bunch of skewer options too - beef, chicken, and vegetable. Looking forward to see how the FTP does, and I can't wait to go back! read more

Food was good. Little leery about eating there after reading the food health score. Portions were large and prices very reasonable.

It was ok. The Brussels sprout appetizer was very overcooked. The filet mignon wasn't melt in your mouth. It tasted like a sirloin steak. The shrimp was ok but the breading wasn't that good. The fries with my steak where overdone as well. The lemon cake was ok. I think overall I could have done better at a chain restaurant. So if you want to pay a lot for mediocre food try this place but I'm not going back. The server was nice a helpful but the food ruined the place for me and a friend. read more

We really enjoyed the four twelve project. It's a bit pricey but generally worth it. The smashed fingerlings are a staple and should be ordered under almost all circumstances. I also ordered the ribeye which was very okay. It was nice having someone else grill me up a steak but it wasn't outstanding in any category. The candied bacon that came with it thrilled my senses, however. I'd like to go back and try some of the other items. Very good for the small Pittsburgh suburb that is Moon Township. read more

Ok... The starters were good. We had the shrimp and candied bacon. We also had their strawberry salad and house salads. They make all their dressings which were a 6 out of 10. My son and daughter had the chicken Alfredo. The sauce was Delicious but the noodles were VERY undercooked. To the point where they were not edible!! My husband had the ribeye and I had the pork tenderloin, de-licious!! The server suggested I change the sauce to their glaze sauce and that sauce is . I fell in love with our neighborhood 1of 2 high end Restaurants in a 5 mile radius.. local sourced food and a chef with character and portions and a mean amazing ribeye that justified the $42 price and the shrimp the size of my thr UMB included?! Only apexed by the amazingly punchy basalmic vinegar grilled Brussels sprouts thst ooze garlic with some other spice that makes it so good... my family raved and we brought friends! Fast forward a year we're back post-pandemic and wow they are struggling.. the rib-eye that was done to perfection thick cut with the slab of thick cut pork belly's is now a 1/2" piece of overdone thin cut with a regular piece of bacon and poorly balanced sauce, and a menu that is retreat alternative burger selections driving financial gross margin vs. what kept use coming back... too many fries and burnt Brussels sprouts.. for $60?!... 40% increase in price for 50% less quality.. and a maître'd who is pushy and arrogant... perhaps set the tone.. I'm worried this little treasure has jumped the shark on the concept and they are looking to sell... I hope they can improve the delivery and uniqueness... and get back to the roots that made me race and tell my friends.. now we just go someplace else or drive to Cranberry... a little gas for a whole lot more value for the same price.. my coworker told me this to place. I can't believe I never heard of it as I live not far from the location. The food is incredible, the atmosphere and drinks and service were amazing. Popular small local place and now we know why. Good local drafts available. Reasonable prices ($11 for yummy noodle bowl). The bowl was a combination of veggies and noodles in a savory sweet and salty Asian sauce that was delicious. The fingerlings for appetizers were huge! And tasty. The special of the day was a double meat, 3-cheese burger with fries that I'm told was also a hit. Absolutely love so many qualities about this place: the atmosphere is warm and inviting, the food was served at the right temperature and generously portioned, and the staff is very caring and will make sure you have a perfect experience. With our meal, we had the bruschetta and Brussel sprouts for our appetizer, a peach wine slushie (yum!!!) and a flight of tasty beers (mainly from Troeg's), along with cinnamon roll bread pudding for dessert. Last night I was here for dinner with my hubby and two friends and we had a wonderful time! Our waitress was Sarah who was friendly, efficient and had a great sense of humor. We started with the cheese board and meat board which featured calamari and ordered some alcoholic beverages. We loved seeing many of our favorite local distillerys on the list (McLaughlins, Liberty Pole). Then came another round of mules and old fashioneds. I ordered the shrimp and scallop risotto, my hubby had the ribeye special, and our friends had the meatloaf and ribeye special. The food was large portions and delicious. For dessert we shared a cinnamon roll bread pudding with whipped cream which was TO DIE FOR! We had an amazing evening together at Four Twelve. My only word of caution is that parking is limited and spots are tight so get there early. read more

This was our first time here and we were grabbing dinner before a hockey game at RMU. Fortunately, we were able to snag a same day reservation as I do believe they are reservation only at this time. WOW! Their menu has a variety of great food and we had really fantastic and quick (but not too quick) service. We ordered a few drinks and appetizers to start - the fried brussel sprouts were excellent and we also enjoyed the candied bacon (although ours was not truly "candied" at all but still very delicious). For dinner, my husband had the Chicken Risotto which I would definitely come back for...it was one of those dishes worth continuing to eat even after you're full (and I kept stealing bites)! I had the FTP Noodle Bowl with Shrimp, which was also very good but honestly couldn't touch the risotto. I'd still order it again if they were out of the risotto ;). However, it was very heavy on the ginger so I'd avoid the dish if you aren't a fan of ginger. We finished with a really rich double chocolate cake for dessert. Overall, I was very impressed with the menu variety and service. We'll definitely be back! read more

Food was absolutely amazing it came hot and fresh. Great custom drinks We had a group of 8, very disappointed with the service. I had to ask 3 times for a straw for my water, she forgot my salad and several of us got desserts. Some desserts came right away, others came ten minutes later after the party was done.
