The other table had bags of clothes too. 3) we had to lay a garbage bag to dump our fabric on the floor, in order to fold. 4) since tables we're all busy, we had to use the top of the machines to put our fabric in. 5) ASIDE FROM ALL THIS, the workers just looked at us crazy the moment they arrived. Offered a cart until the last 5 minutes I was there which is when everything started. 6) they were also very rude, not saying excuse me in the corner we had to make. Squeezing in front of me folding without saying excuse me. 7) while I had my fabric on the floor, the workers washing the clothes for "happy nest" had the audacity to try to move my bag. I told her I didn't want it on the floor. She wanted to move my bag into her cart. And I said no,to give 5 minutes and either way she'd be in way. She said she wouldn't be. Mind you, the little corner I had to be in folding was in front of the machine because there was no space. She proceeded to harrass me 2x afterwards in the spam of a minute, and say she wouldn't be in my way when we would be shoulder to shoulder. At this point, I told her again "give me 5 minutes" and she left, talking smack about me to her co workers. I left within 5minutes that I said. To which I did give her attitude and told her "your machine is ready" when I left. The rest of the laundromat was opened! She was a lady with blond hair. 8) they block the entrance with their "happy nest car" Only reason I came to this place was because our regular laundry mat unfortunately power was out due to the storm. I just calmly said I would go elsewhere but I do not recommend that place. They cash your check and then tell you to hit the road if you don't like their work. Do not use them.

Upon stepping into this place, I was greeted by the lovely Mimi. She, too, was scared of the abomination that were my three, large winter coats. Kindly note that this place is small but organized, it's bright and pretty clean. Anywho, I digress. Lovely Mimi said she would definitely try her hardest to clean them but she couldn't make any promises. I appreciated her candor and I told her to work her magic. She was so sweet acknowledging my comment and I left there with nothing but a wish. Fast forward to now and Mimi texted me letting me know my costs were ready for pick up. I picked them up and legit was shocked. She was able to turn my gross jackets into something of wonder and happiness. She cleaned the heck outta of those jackets; no mold, no smell, no dust, nothing gross...Mimi and her magic hands pulled out a magic wand over my jackets and made them brand new again. I decided it was fine because I had friends coming in town and wanted the job be done quickly. I asked them if the rug would look more fluffy they describe no but the stain would come out. When my rug arrived today on 01/15/2025 it was matted in the center and the stain was still there. I was initially told I would get 28 dollars off and then I spoke with the manager who told me that I told the drivers my rug was matted already before which it was not. I provide a before photo of the center of my rug to show proof. I asked the drivers specifcally would it look more fluffy. My rug was never matted with a huge knot in the center. The company has decided to give me 120 dollar refund via check only instead of just sending it back to my amex card on file. I now have to pay for another rug which is 400 dollars. I wish I never cleaned the rug with the company because now I need to spend 400 dollars and they refuse to given me any money toward another rug after ruining my rug and not even cleaning the stain. The manager notified me he been running this business for 20 years and he not going go back and forth me because I told the drivers it was matted which is was not. The drivers specifically told me the rug look super clean when I explained it didn't. My rug use to be light grey now it almost brown. The driver also spent half the time asking me how I can live in apartment with such big windows rather than trying to understand they ruined my rug. I'm putting the review on google, yelp and BBB complaint. If I do not receive my check by the end of day January 22nd I will be contacting American Express to dispute the transaction as well. I said to him that I put up the review because other should know and I still have to pay for 400 dollar new rug. He explained he could give me 150 and I explained the rug is 400 dollars and 200 would be more sufficient. He notified me I was black mailing him. I explained to him that he black mailing me by trying to force me to remove a review to get a refund for an item they destroyed. The owner stated I tried to blackmail them. I asked them to provide me my refund and if they offer additional compensation for ruining a 400 dollar rug. They said they can offer me 200 dollars and I would have to sign a legal document to never post a negative review about them and remove this review. I do not feel comfortable signing any legal documents and will be proceeding with going to American Express to have my money refund. I have documentation through text messages AS PROOF of this incase they try re comment that I tried to blackmail them which isn't true. I have attached them. The individuals that work for this company is extremely scary and they try to intimidate you as well as talk down to you. At this point, Idc for the 200 dollars they're paying for me to take down this review I want other people to be warned about this company.

WOW!!! Vernon Cleaners just worked some serious miracles on my clothing disaster ... not sure how…read moreit happened but a liquid container that was stored on a high shelf in our closet had leaked out all over many articles of clothing. These weren't your regular variety of stains, but rather thick, colored, waxy drippings. I brought all of them in to Vernon Cleaners hoping for the best. Connie, the lady at the counter, said they needed a full week to tackle the problem. Sure enough, due to the tenacity of her husband and after several attacks on those stains, he was triumphant in returning my clothes to their former wearable condition. I was so happy, I wanted to give an extra tip which they politely refused. Now I bring all my cleaning and tailoring ONLY to this place. They're simply the best. And ... PS: These are seriously the nicest people ever!
